And the last two days it's struggled to achieve 95k - Crisis time looming for TO. I wonder what they're gonna do! Watch this space.

What you are feeling is normal. Frustration takes over from fun the higher up the tanki ladder you go. Initially, you focus on getting the best garage possible. It's good to be able to switch mid battle or react to the a change your enemy has made. But the higher up you go, you find that you come up against a lot of maxed out combos. When you come up against a team of maxed out combos all using supplies then you might as well not play unless you yourself are part of an all drugging, maxed-out team. It goes even further than that too. Just to make your game play even more miserable, battles get rigged in addition. Ever been doing well in a 60 minute game only for a whole team of drugging m4's with maxed out paints to materialise out of nowhere in a blink of an eye? That's no coincidence. You've just been had and it happens all the time. But Tanki themselves are doing us no favours with the constant chopping and changing of game balance and equipment. I could be wrong but I think this week has seen the first day since just before Halloween last year where the the peek server load has not risen above 100k. Tankers are not playing as much now as a result. Less players means less revenue and that's bad for the game's future. Some of us knew this was coming and it's certainly no surprise to me. It will soon be crisis time for tanki again so prepare to see some short term fixes soon like x3 funds or something else like 50% of paypal / cards. These measures are temporary band-aids but until they address fundamentals like cheating and mults, tanki will still be struggling to get over 100k peek server loads this time next year too.

I like that combination yes but I also have a full set of m4 turrets and hulls. Yes, that's a full set, all fully micro-upgraded m3's. If you thought I was moaning because you thought I didn't benefit from this update then you'd be dead wrong. All my hulls from Hunter up just got extra protection. I'm moaning because this update is bad for the game. Wasps and Hornets for any player who doesn't have friends, doesn't belong to a clan or doesn't cheat might as well leave now. This is not what we want. I don't want to see Tanki become a Mammoth fest and that's what I'm now using. Mammoth/Vulcan with Africa or Lumberjack paint. I can't tell you how many players using hornet or wasp have moaned at me for this. It's really not fair. -

Give it 8 weeks and they will have made more changes, changes probably that will be in your favour. It's the way they work. They say things like, "we have analysed this", or, "we have listened to your feedback", in order to justify unnecessary changes that encourage actual spending and then in an attempt to make us forget, TO usually coincide these changes with special events which serve as sweeteners, like x2 or x3 funds or a sale. The EN community on the whole are suck-ups so they like anything that TO do whether it is good bad or indifferent. The other communities usually come to "our" rescue after displaying their anger and outrage. The RU topic finished just short of -200 whereas ours stopped just short of +50. Stick with it if for a while and try to tolerate the heavies, mults and cheats. It should come back around when they eventually see the server loads dropping due to players leaving or not playing as much. That they listen to! -

Thanks. So I'm fine and he is a hacker then. What does this say about the game if hacks like this exist? It means playing is worthless, crystals are worthless, buying is pointless and a waste of money. I will report him in a few days but I'd like further advice here first.

Can anyone tell me if armor or health hacks exist please? I know the answer but I'd like some of your thoughts on this area of cheating specifically. It's only when you're maxed out yourself you notice these things. 20/25 and 21/25 are both over 97% complete. When I used my maxed out Zeus on whatever maxed out Hull I'm using, I can't last half as long as some of these guys and I am skilled enough now to know when to use the repair kit best or when to use self-heal. I know exactly where you're coming from. I too have hit these guys with maxed out turrets, eg, Thunder, Railgun & Rico and they last far too long. The implication is that some of these guys are hacking. Proving it is the hard part. To prove hacking, you have to assume the guy you're trying to kill has max protection and you have to assume that every shot inflicted on him causes minimum damage. So if your turret's damage reduces with range you also have to somehow take that into account. If there are protection hacks going on then they will be subtle enough to avoid detection but enough to give a significant advantage. You'll find lots of players will always find an excuse as to why players last as long as they do and I'm always suspicious of these players.

This is typical of what I see at my level before the changes and bear in mind that this was just one tank. http://youtu.be/z7_KYP2pBac I know my rail is maxed-out and the other rail is m3, not to mention the m3 freeze and smoky which was inflicting damage before the critical hit. Then there were the others behind the building. I actually did the math on this one and this guy, in all likelihood, should have been destroyed before he used his repair kit. (Yeah, I know he had picasso and armor). So can you imagine then when you get a team of these constantly attacking, all now with added protection? Imagine Isida help? Organised raiders will rule this game only serving to frustrate more players. Prepare to see the some of the same players who liked and defended this update very soon, complaining of raiders, drugs and how they are unable to compete anymore. -

The RU community are a lot more knowledgeable about this game than the EN one. RU topic reputation currently stands at While the EN stands at +40. At least RU are not scared in saying what they think whereas many here like every update regardless of it's content. -

I have all the turrets and all the hulls completely maxed out (except vulcan), so your guess is wrong. Though I'm not unique in having an excellent garage, I am in an excellent position to say this update is ill thought out and rash. Some players in my position would love it because from viking up, all my hulls have just got stronger, but those players in my opinion are short-sighted. I have nothing to gain by saying this have I? There is no bias. I just see what I see and you and TO can listen if you want or put your fingers in your ears as usual. -

Just played a couple of hours in a pro battle - 1 flag was taken - it was soooo boring. I quit the battle because it will still be going until server restart. I can see me scaling my play down very soon and looking for alternative entertainment. It used to be fun here and now it's just plain frustrating and no joy at all. You know I say this because I'm passionate but it's what I feel so take it or leave it.
