Video What do you think of this. I'm not accusing this player of cheating but I have crunched some numbers and I think the chances of him surviving to the point he used his repair kit is quite low. I think he should have been destroyed at 30.467secs (on screen clock - not youtubes clock) too because an m3 rail hits him and he receives a critical hit from a smoky. Prior to that he was hit by me twice, was getting hit by smoky and frozen for about 4 seconds. Then there are the other players who I couldn't see. I've given him the benefit of being maxed out and all our shots inflicting minimum damage. I have this picasso, viking and freeze maxed out and I can't survive that long. Can someone do the math? I know my rail was M4. Is there any such hack that deploys your repair kit at the last possible moment? There has been a sharp increase of this type behaviour in the last 3 or 4 months and in the main, I don't put it down to players maxing out their equipment or suddenly being skillful in terms of supply use either.

Z-L-O-J_Z-V-I-R uses a hack to flip himself back up at 10 seconds in for his hornet freeze (hd1080 available) This is not lag. Lag can produce similar outcomes but not in this case because the flip is on the spot and the tank would have moved somewhat if momentum was involved. I'm no longer putting up with hackers. If you deem this not to be a hack then I will be seeking a full and proper reason why not. delete

Exactly. I've been seeing this a lot lately but you will always get people saying things like; lag; he was self-healing; an isida was healing him; he used a repair kit at the right moment;' etc etc, Yes, these are all possible but a viking wearing Zeus getting pounded by thunders, m4 double power rails and every other gun under the sun - come on! And the thing is it's so difficult to prove when Thunder and Rail inflict variable damage. Maybe I should start using Hammer a lot more but wait, somebody will always say that some of the pellets missed the target. Bottom line, definitely cheats out there and they're rife.

Tufelipexxx was pretending to help but he was just a smart saboteur. At 1m0s offender is sabotaging Lee_ghost who was mining and base sitting. At 5m49s offender pushes me back and keeps me pinned while flag is taken. You don't have to press the left button. You can just hit the enter or return key. What I find so bad about this update is that sometimes you can destruct a couple of times more than necessary. This is a huge waste of time and so annoying. The solution I posted is basically makes a hotkey on your keyboard. Where before you just clicked the left mouse button, now I just press Enter on my numberpad which is a few milliseconds quicker than before this update.

This guy knew he had an advantage due to this hack error, and exploited it. Make a rule that says, "Deliberate exploitation of a glitch or loading error can lead to a ban". You're welcome.

I watched the video and although it certainly seems like a hack, I can't prove it was. If it is possible, no matter how unlikely, that a loading error can produce the same result, then the person who looks like he is hacking should be quite rightly let off. This is how juries work. Have you ever entered a game when you can't inflict damage and then pressed refresh and everything goes back to normal? Have you ever entered a game when everyone on the opposite team was invisible and refresh sorts it out? Well why is it impossible that this isn't one of those times? What is unacceptable here is that this player knew he had an advantage and exploited it. There should be a new rule in tanki that if you exploit a glitch then that could lead to a ban.

He shouldn't have been able to. 196.35 is the maximum damage he could inflict with a m4 hammer with double power while you have Roger on with a minimum of 15% protection against hammer. You should have been left with 6.5% of your total health. I am convinced my m4's are not as powerful as other m4's in this game. I'm also convinced my maxed out paints don't protect as well as other players either. Either I am nerfed by someone in tanki or cheating is rife.

The new dialogue will remain despite widespread disapproval. Just forget trying to find an alternative solution because clearly the only way is to upset 99% of tanki players.

Possible Solution Using AutoHotKey, you can assign yourself a hotkey that will automatically click on the garage button, wait for the dialogue box to pop up and then press the Enter key for you. I set this up for when I press the Enter key on the number pad. Here is the script I used NumPadEnter:: MouseMove, 1620,100 MouseClick, left sleep, 50 Send, {Enter} return I then turned it into an .exe using the compiler. Note the 1620,100 refers to the x,y co-ordinates of where the garage button can be found on my screen which will vary for most users. I will be using this method until TO fix this monumental mistake. I really have no clue what you're saying here. There seems to be some crossed wires. Why would we want to speed up the process for someone leaving the battle at the expense of those wanting to stay in the battle? There has to be some misunderstanding here.

I still don't see why we have to click twice for garage when garage is what we clicked on in the first place. This thing is really annoying me. This could be the proverbial straw for me.

Thanks. I'll try this. As you say, I was trying to be that ninja succeeding only 1/3 of the time not to respawn. It would be better if they just revert to how it was. I wasn't aware of any complaints and it was simple enough for everyone to use.

This is my whole point. We don't need to make any changes. So please revert to the old way when clicking on 'garage' in the game.

So when you want to leave normally, do you click on garage, press escape or click on the X. I'd appreciate an answer. The dialogue does not make it easier. It's confusing and takes too long to change equipment in battle.

Not a review or anything but just some quick personal thoughts of the top 4 new hammer paints. Atom Firebird (15%→26%) - Twins (10%→15%) - Freeze (10%→15%) - Hammer (35%→50%) A max of 15% against twins and Freeze will give you a second or two longer against m4 turrets but defenseless against the big guns of smoky, rail and thunder so not so good for attacking bases or traveling over open ground. Better to use this in an close or urban setting where there is cover from enemy fire. Best thing about this is its early availability from Colonel so I'd definitely buy it at that rank. Mars Firebird (27%→41%) - Isida (18%→27%) - Hammer (33%→50%) Decent base and MU protection for 3 out of the 11 turrets. 2 short range and 1 short to medium range. Nothing for the popular big guns of Smoky, thunder, rail and freeze. Available at Major General so those ranks might be tempted to buy this but to be named after the Roman God of War, I would have expected more. Not for me though at generalissimo. Tiger Smoky (30%→50%) - Railgun (15%→28%) - Hammer (40%→50%) As a Generalissimo, I'm tempted by this paint more than others because it suits my playing style and has excellent protection against 3 of the popular strong guns. I could see me using this to attack a base but I'd probably need an Isida to help due to the number of guns available in the game now. 11 guns (including vulcan), means there are more ways for you to be destroyed and while this paint has protection against 3 strong guns I fear that when you enter an enclosed area, you might find yourself worn down by short range weapons like Freeze, Isida and Firebird or picked off by Thunder. This paint is very similar to the cheaper Savanna paint which is superior against railguns and it has Rico protection not to be sniffed at. Buy them both if you're flush but I'd be sticking to Savanna for now until I see what is available after Vulcan's release. ps, best looking paint! Nano Smoky (20%→30%) - Firebird (10%→15%) - Ricochet (28%→42%) - Hammer (30%→45%) This is supposed to be the top Hammer paint (to date) due to it's price but I'm not that excited about it. Swap Rico for Thunder I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Again I'll wait for Vulcan to be delivered before making any decisions and prepare to just dodge the Hammers for now until then. I'd prefer Atom to this which is a lot cheaper and available a whole lot earlier. Not so much thought gone into this one. Due to the number of guns available now, paints on their own will only do so much for the individual. Teamwork and a variety of turrets on the teams you play in will be just as important, if not more so, to ensure you're on the winning sides more often than not. Having a garage full of m4's helps but isn't enough anymore.
