I left this game quite some time ago. Best thing I ever did BTW. Yes I miss my friends but not the stress and BS. I do come and read the forum from time to time, on the hopes things have gotten better but all I ever see is more ways to spend more money for less product. :huh: As many have said, we continue to make negative predictions. The problem is, they always come true. :( I know that the DEVS would prefer that the many of us that can see whats wrong with most of their decisions(and usually only minutes after they announce them) would just leave. It would make it so much easier for them to continue to take advantage of the young or weak minded. Their preferred cycle of players would be start playing, get hooked, spend real money, and then leave quietly once they realize whats really going on here. The game has majors flaws and they continue to ignore them in the name of profits. Well here's another prediction. Continue to choose profit over quality and the day will come where you will not have enough loyal players to maintain your game. I am @Canadian_Eh and I was a Tanki addict. It has been 5 months since I last played. :D I even received an invite to test out TankiX but can't be bothered. I'm just not interested into falling back into their trap of broken promises and deceptions.

As usual, it's all about Facebook. How about posting some of those codes up here. Not everyone has or wants a Facebook account. Here's an idea, trying inviting players how have the ability to give honest and constructive feedback during testing. Look in the forums and pick from the list of active members who actually have something intelligent to say and who aren't just going to be mesmerized by the pretty graphics. Ask the players what they want and for their opinion. Don't just get a bunch of "yes" men and women do give you the feedback.

"Common sense" tells me that Admins and long time Mods are not spending 50+ hours a week (as claimed by some) for free. They have to be getting something for their time. There is a much bigger reason that there are such double standards about who gets banned and who doesn't, but I'll just leave it up to everyone else to figure out. I once knew a player who became a mod and later an admin. It was very sad to see the changes in the point of view of this person. They used to be about the players, now it's all about defending Tanki. I wonder what changed?

"WARNING" This update has created a DANGER for many younger players, it only makes it easier for people to take advantage of them. I can't count how many times people have been saved from scammers, pedophiles and other dishonest activites by the other users in the chat. Now those that troll the chats looking for victims, can do all this in private. We all know there are not anywhere close to enough mods to watch all the conversations and we don't even know if they can see the private ones. This is where the the rest of the community stepped in. How can we help protect others now? I know that many MODS relied on help from regular players to draw their attention to such activities, now this is gone. Come on MODS speak up, you know this to be true. We have people trying to scam others into trading accounts or giving up their password and other personal information. We have people looking to recruit new member for things like cults and religious / political groups. Again very bad. Even worse, we have people looking for little boys and girls to lure into dangerous situations. There is an endless list of things that can go wrong in chat rooms and you just gave these criminals the tools they needed. Anyone that has children will see how dangerous this is and will want it removed ASAP. Remove this update before something bad happens.

We should have the option of sending it private or public. Sometimes it makes sense for other players to be able to read a comment made to somebody else. How can we help players? I may want to answer a players question BUT still want everyone else to see the answer AND others may want to see it as well and learn from the answer.

Well it's become perfectly clear who this game's target audience is. It is little naive kids who will realize too late that they should have spent their crystals on equipment instead of these useless gifts. Who in their right mind is going to spend 100500 crystals on a useless "blue sphere" ? The only thing I'll buy is and send it to Tanki.

@AbsoluteZero is a personnel friend of mine and we have worked on a few AHK projects together. Many hours have been spent discussing "how" to solve any number of issues. Playing the game, especially in it's current state, has almost become secondary lately and have completely given up on the forums and only came to this topic because AZ mentioned it. Yeah, Tanki should do a lot of things but they are more interested in adding more useless things then in going back and fixing the underling issues. Here is some free advice, "finish your current task before moving on to something new"

Well that pretty much sums it all up. It now takes me a week to earn enough crystals to do 1 upgrade. Where as before I could do several of the important ones per week. Well I guess it's like most companies that offer a package deal, you may get a few good things but have to take the crap nobody buys too. Tanki will just price themselves right out of the market, and then out of business. As for the lag cheaters, I agree 100% that they are used a lot more then people realize. The lag always seems to occur at the most convenient times. They always seems to be used by the same kinds of players. Everyone has seen them, they are the ones that must win at all costs. They usually start with the mindless drugging, cap all the flags even when the teams are extremely unbalanced, travel in packs, use mults, use sabotage, and when all that doesn't work out come the cheats. Well I guess it would be safe to assume that they have not been raised with any sense of morals or honour and we shouldn't expect anything more from them.

Wow, I have shoes older them most of you. Knowing that most of the moderators are just kids explains a whole lot.

This type of attitude has been the destruction of so many things. They should always consider what the people that actually play their game want. It may be their game do do with as they want but if they chase off all the players, then what do they have? Anybody that knows anything about business knows the customer always comes first. Well unless your goals as a business are only short term profits.

The game is unbalanced on purpose. Whether you are talking about mults or turrets and hulls doesn't matter. The unbalanced nature of this this game encourages people to spend money. Some will buy supplies, some will buy better equipment. So don't expect them to do anything about any of these issues.

Do you really want me to list ALL the deception in this game? While I'm at it I can list all the problem and unsolved ignored issues as well. Take off your Admin blinders and see for yourself. As for the claim that this "happens every year", did you even read what people are saying? This exact same time last year we had around 120,000 peak server load. This year it is about half of that. So what changed? Simple answer players are leaving. Well thanks for adding you name to the list of Tanki representatives that have confirmed that our opinions are irrelevant. Tanki asks us to "discuss it in the forum" and then can't understand when some people complain about what is happening. Why don't they just say what they real mean? " Shut up and go play our game or leave because we really don't want to hear your complaints. Now if you want to give us a pat on the back and tell us how great we are, go ahead " BTW I see someone removed my link to the post made on Facebook. I suppose you are going to say she was spreading lies and rumours too.

So how did you EVER get the "report" button to work? Such a system can't be that much different. Oh wait, maybe you can blame it on FLASH. Just tell us the truth. You can't be bothered. You also know that guests will not bother to read all the posts looking for negative comments and will only see all the "likes". So to an outsider everything looks all wonderful and happy. BUT if a guest came and saw all the dislikes they might just leave. :blink: It's all about public perception and nothing to do with the players already here and wanting to hear our opinion.

It's no rumor, it's a fact. They may be searching but they sure aren't playing. This time last year we had 120,000 players peak a day. Now we seldom make 80,000 and thats only on the weekends. Servers are empty. I wonder if people may simply be looking for an alternative to Tanki Online. Look at some of the related searches.

OK I'm not talking in code. If I read this correctly you are now saying that the few of us that actually are not just sitting quietly, allowing the deceptions to continue, are insignificant. Well I always assumed this to be a "myth" but thanks for confirming it is true. This is a sad day, we used to be friends and you used to be the one person that didn't seem to be influenced by Tanki HQ but I guess those days are over. How the mighty have fallen.

When are the players that need to buy crystals in the EN system going to get the reduction in price we were promised back in May? OR was Tanki hoping we would all just forget about the fact we are still paying 50% more for the same number of crystals? They did make a reduction and then turned around and said that it was going to ruin the economy. They said they were going to return it back to it's previous state, however they actually increased the cost to buy crystals. Nice slight of hand there. The double standards in this game amaze me. BTW I'm well aware of the fact that I'm just wasting my time asking but it had to brought up.

Unity is supposed to be the new shiny engine under the hood of Tanki Online. The problem is you can stick a nice new shiny engine in an old rusted out and broken down piece of junk car but you still have a problem. You still don't have a new car, it's still the same old junk.

Well these are some of the benefits of Unity that people have never heard about. So here's an idea for the next V-log. Forget about telling us about the fancy graphics and 3D trees and give some information to those of us that want to know about all the underlying issues in this game. What are the plans for all of these other issues? I want to know about: a reporting system hacks and cheats prevention better account control to prevent trolls and chat abuse. a better punishment system and maybe even a rewards system for those that help to keep the game under control. I'm sure I missed something but you get the point. Some of us care more about having an enjoyable experience while playing as opposed to amazing graphics.
