Blue boxes lead to too many problems in the game. They could remove blue boxes and give players 1 crystal for each point they earn in a battle, instantly. This would be a much fairer way to do it. Why should I do all the killing for someone else to collect all the crystals for it? I'm not running a charity. It's bad enough that I pay to play so that so many players can play for free. You get payed for the work you do, what a crazy idea. If they don't want to remove them for all battles remove them for team type battles. It is not fair to a team to have some crystal beggars on their side. That is a chat violation, not a game violation. To be honest you should have been more careful.

I agree. 3 bans for game rule violation and bye bye account. Sounds good to me. But not for chat violations.

People that: use over sized text (for no reason) use too many different colors in their text use too many stupid smiley and emoticons in a post 1 or 2 is ok but not a whole row of them. (especailly these 2 :tank: :fire_r: ) don't use spell check or write like they are sending a text. Have some respect for yourself and others and learn to spell and put together a real sentence. Now if English is not your first language you get a break. Within reason. When you see people using English as a second or even third language and it is written better then someone who's first language is English, that is just embarrassing. If English is your first or only language, you do not get a break. use over sized photos quote over sized photos. Just delete the photo from your quote. It not hard. We saw it once we don't need to see repeatedly. people that don't preview their posts first. Make sure it looks good and proof read it before you post it. You are 100% correct. Unfortunately most things in life are like this. "The New Guy" is always given a hard time. It's like a right of passage or something. Now when people are rude about it, that's different. I see way to many people asking questions and no one willing to take the time to give a real answer. Now this a two sided problem. A lot of people ask stupid questions with out doing a simple search for them selves. A lot of people reply with "use search" when a simple answer can just as easily be given. Sometimes trying to find an answer is not as easy, when your not even sure what your looking for. It's easy for someone to say "here's the link use search next time blah,blah,blah." It is easy for that person because they already know where to find it. They may have already read it and know exactly what words to search. Now all that being said still doesn't mean you can be lazy either. Take a minute and try to find the answer yourself. If it is to difficult then come and ask. There is a growing problem in today's society, that comes from using text messages,chat rooms,and forums. People are able to be rude with no back lash. Behind a keyboard people, are "big brave men and women", but in real life you can't act like this.( I wanted to use another more colorful phase involving steel and some balls but it's not allowed LOL) If someone came up to you on the street and asked for directions, would you be a smart ass an say "use search next time."? I only have one account. I said it before that a lot of the garbage that goes on in this game could be avoided if they were to limit the amount of accounts one was allowed to have, and make it mandatory to use an E-mail to sign up. Maybe 2 per E-mail address. YES I know people could have multiple e-mails but the number of alt. accounts would be less. Some have 10 plus accounts. Are they going to sign up for 5 E-mail addresses just to have 10 accounts? Some will but less won't bother. Additionally if you got a ban on 1 account they could ban you on your second as well.

As for the reporting issue, I do know that there has been requests made to the developers to modify /vote. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. Took me a few minutes to find what you were referring to. Thanks for that, I didn't even see it. LOL I'm so glad to hear little stories like yours. It makes us feel like we can make a difference. I agree 100% that deterrents are the most effective way to deal these players.

Sometimes the simplest things are the most effective. I was able to chase a "crystal grabber" out 2 days ago. He was one those players that has the nerve to come in and say "no kill, just collecting crystals" I told him he would not be allowed to do that here. When he asked why I told him it was disrespectful to the players that are here fighting to earn them. I then told him if he continued, I would report him. He actually said sorry and left. :blink: I'll say it again "Get rid of the cyrstals, get rid of half the problem." I have some other interesting information as well. I was reading a topic from 2 years ago complaining about the exact same things we are still complaining about. This just proves that "If you want something done right, do it yourself". Tanki doesn't really seem too interested in solving the problems. I think the reason why is because most of those players complaining from 2 years ago got fed up and quit. They don't care about that either because even more new unsuspecting players join everyday. It's a cycle. If you look at the posts, most of those players went inactive within a few months of starting to complain, never to return again. The day will come, probably not too far off, when I will leave as well, and many will be happy, because they will not need to hear me complain anymore. But don't worry some new guy will come up and take my place in the complaint department. :D

I agree "raiding" itself is not against the rules, but when they use mults then there are rules being broken. "deliberate inaction" I do have an idea. use the friends system while in the score "pop-up" you could hover over a players name and all of that players friends are highlighted. It would only be useful to make you aware of the fact something funny is going on. There are no rules that say you can't join a battle on the opposite side as your friend, but in a high stakes battles it really doesn't make sense to, unless you are planing on sabotage. If you indeed find mults on your side that are friends with most of the players on the other side, then you can video and report, or use /vote.

I will be sticking to shorter games with smaller battle funds.The raiding parties are less interested in them. If I find myself in a raiding situation again I will be leaving the battle. I'm not going to feed raiders by being their target. You can play for hours and get nothing in the end or you can earn 100 -200, or more crystals every 15 mins. If the battle goes bad you leave, there is not as much to give up. I was in a 100 CTF in Stadium, that raiders came into yesterday. Our side had the lead up to 42 - 16, then the raiders showed up. People started leaving both sides only to replaced with mults on our side and higher ranks on the other until it was 10+5 vs. 5 . They tied and took the lead in a matter of about 20 mins. At which point I left. I suggested to the rest of our remaining 5 to stop feeding the battle fund and the raiders. A few left a few stayed. When I looked back later the game was just coming to an end 42 - 100 . They must have continued to kill their own mults to inflate the battle fund. While taking turns running flags. Every player on that blue team had a very high score ( I think the lowest was 8xx) while all but 3 of the reds had less 100. Battle fund must have been huge, it was over 12,000 when I left. The other interesting thing was that many of the blue team seemed to be less them average players until the 42 -16 point, at which point they suddenly found their missing skills and supplies. LOL You can bet the next raid those losing mults will be on the winning side. After all there is no harm in being killed and losing as long as they don't use supplies and why would they. Lesson learned or maybe confirmed. Stay out of 100 CTF, long timer battles,and battles that will have high "battle funds", especially if the rank is from to . It is a trap. I have read about these tactics, but this was the most obvious raid I have seen. I wonder if there is any way to stop this, other then "kicking" mults, which would not be too effective in this situation. I guess education is the best defence. Learn to recognize the signs and don't fall into the trap. Maybe if there was a way to see who is friends with whom in a battle. In my example I bet you would find that all 15 players are friends and play together all the time. Maybe we can start a list of things to watch for in raiding attacks.

I have done this 3 times in the past. You send the report to help@tankionline.com They take care of it pretty quick. The latest, I reported, was a page on one of those free page sites, harvesting your tanki login and password info. A guy asked me in a battle if I wanted to be part of a beta version chat that tanki was testing. What tipped me off was that he only wanted players with very high rank accounts. So I played along to gather the info and submitted it. The page got shut down within 36 hours.
