Have been playing wth the Viking for a while now. It rocks! :) Before the NP I played with Titan most of the time, but the role Titan played is in my opinion mostly taken over by the Viking after the New Physics. The speed increase of the Viking compared to the Titan makes it a lot more versatile. The Titan is still good for defense in CTF, as long as it can strike a large field, because when there are a lot of buildings and other obstacles in the map, it is easy for the enemy who takes good cover to outrun the Titan. Titan is still very good in DM 's, but I consider the Viking even better now due to the speedy pace of the NP (New Pace....) Tanki Online. Moving a lot in DM 's is crucial after the NP: the speedy Hornet with short-range weapons does pretty well now in DM 's! What I like very much about the Viking is it's huge stability. I played a few Polygons with Viking M1 - Rico M1 and really felt the benefit. Easy shooting and if you get shot by huge impact weapons you are still (with a little skill) able to return fire. There were some Dictators in those battles as well, but I really consider this a tank for a few pro's who can handle it. If you hit a Dic with a Ric it rocks too, but not in a good way. ;) Dictators are bad in defending themselves against any high impact weapons, like in this example the Rico. So Dictator may have a lot more speed than the Viking, but it looses big points on stability and by the fact that it is a huge tank. You should receive extra XP if you are capable of NOT hitting this mark! :D (By the way the Ricochet really became a nice (OP) weapon after update 205. The paints Dragon and Desert really increased in value....a good buy if you have a stable tank: small tanks are now rendered completely defenseless by the increased impact effect so the protective Rico-paint won't help.) Some players prefer the Hunter above the Viking, mainly because of the extra speed and still decent HP, but I think it is nearly impossible to rank up with it. It's good at M1, some sort of Tasmanian Devil (read: very good) at M3, but totally useless at M2. Plus it is expensive... The Viking is the opposite at M2: it is the Golden upgrade of this tank. Impressive HP, more than sufficient speed and it can turn more than quick enough: certainly if you mastered the skill of driving the tank as easily for- as backwards. That is a skill I consider crucial besides being able to always keep aim (practice drive-by shooting in all directions, at one single point at a wall in an empty map: boring but it pays off!) at enemy tanks. The allrounder Viking-tank is in my opinion capable of playing all the roles of the medium and heavy hulls. However I do not think it is the best hull if you like to play with short-range weapons. After the NP the Hornet would be my number one choice for close-combat. The long-range weapon which is better on the Hornet than on the Viking is the Railgun. Speed is in this case more important than HP. However for Smoky, Thunder and Ricochet I can really recommend the Viking. Buy it, go to the battlefield and go Berserk!

Well Developers congratulations! As Semyon already wrote you are really doing all you can to balance this game....... Well nice balancing if a WO5 can already buy a Viking M2 in the new hull kit! That is a whopping six ranks too early! :( A Viking M2 is probably the best hull at M2 after the New Physics. A HP of 221 and a speed of 7.4. Even without drugs a very tough opponent. As a WO4 I was really looking forward to all the battles I would have to fight before I become Lieutenant-Colonel and could buy this beauty at a discount. Now it is only a very short time and I can already buy it. I even just have the crystals... So I must be happy? Not at all. I do not need the other "junk" in the hull-kit, I solely drug (1)234 when a Gold-Box drops and the Mammoth M2 is worthless. The only good thing of the average Hunter M2 is the next cheaper upgrade to the excellent Hunter M3. The Hornet is very good now, but I play only one tank at once..... The biggest moral problem: I become the next cheater. I probably will have to, because as a non-drugger I will now also have to face opponents with drugs AND to early unlocked tanks. You have to be an ultimate Tanki-master (I'm not) to make a chance. The New Tanki is forcing you to buy if you want to keep up. This was never the case, you always had buyers: but drugging was the only way to cheat. Druggers can be devastating in a CTF, but in DM 's you could always, if skilled enough, get a decent share of the battle-fund. Let the drugger have the most, no problem: sometimes all the drugging must be more expensive than the earned crystals. Will never understand those 24/7 druggers. What is the fun of it? I had no problems with the NP update 205, personally I like more speed and action, but I really feel sorry for the players who invested a lot of their crystals in what suddenly became more or less useless equipment. That is already pretty unfair without any refund. Not really "balanced" again.... Tanki is clearly developing into a buyers game. You can be a total noob, but be the Emperor. The "Emperor with New Clothes" that is...... :D Well I will see how long I will stick to this game, the way it is heading is simply wrong. In it's pure essence TO is just a very clever made browser game, which should not be too expensive to play. There is a gaming world filled with COD 's, GTA 's and other really pretty and in the long term cheaper games than Tanki. Dev team keep that in mind..... No developer (or player) will shed a tear  when I leave, but there are more of "my kind", so at least quit with those kits or make them only available at the right rank! It might be very profitable now, but Tanki is now being recreated into a monster that does not welcome the needed new players who can not afford or intend to spend a LOT of money!

As I already wrote I am very enthusiastic about the faster pace of the game. Not done one yet, but a DM of 999 kills or a many-flags-CTF will surely be totally exhausting: as it should be. But I also feel for the argument that it became too fast. If a majority of people, after a decent try-out: nót just for a few days, still do not like it, than it should be a little diminished. Yesterday I had a Polygon DM in which a Hornet-Freeze combo did very well. He was constantly at the move, at times to my frustration because the little "vacuumcleaner" was a real challenge to even hit. Sure he got killed a lot though because of the lighter hull, but because he used the "power" of the speed so well, he killed a lot also. A real pain in the a.. ;) He ended in the top three. Before the NP he would not have had this great score. This was really thanks to the Rebalance II. I did not fight that much, but I am still convinced the Rico will be the new OP gun. Rail is very powerfull too, but always needs a lot more skill. Rico needs a lot of skill too if used at the gun's full potential, but it can be used as a sort of Twins as well, it even than still remains very powerfull. Devastating on drugs for sure.... Do not have a clue about the Shaft, but reading the forum it seems to be The weapons-victim of the NP, like the Mammoth is The hull-victim. If so Tanki try to compensate or change the parameters. A final thought about Tanki and Rebalances in general. It is my strong opinion that the biggest reason for all these changes is related to drugging. I do not blame anyone, because drugs unfortunately play a major (economical) role in Tanki. Just buy plenty of them, use them non-stop and you will soon be convinced you are the King of Tanki. IMHO drugging is the main reason, and rightfully so, that the Mammoth got nerfed. Let's all be honest, a Mammoth on drugs was way too OP! All needed was some Twins on top and even the most unskilled player could be the "winner". By nerfing its speed, you have at least much more time to fight it. That does not take away the fact that I think only the Mammoth M3 is still good because the huge HP, below M3 you 'd be wise to choose the Titan. Or go the fast lane.... I strongly believe that now the drugs should be nerved! I presume the Tanki economy can not survive without them, but at least there should be some changes to make the game more balanced. Developers, that is what you were searching for in this NP: well a true Balance will never happen with unlimited drugs use! One option that would mostly unharm the economy could be to put more time restrictions on drugs use, so every player will have more "clean" time. A time you can proof your worth without them (or not...). The more clean-time the better. Also making the produkt kits available at a lower rank just because money gets involved is not the way to show that you really want a Balance in the game. This should be fixed too, simply by making the kits available at the proper rank. They will be bought anyhow. Now you have buyers with produkt-kits and lots of drugs. That is ok if you are skilled, but you fool the unskilled and now even the under-ranked players, like they are fooling themselves. You can more or less buy your way to the highest ranks, and that is good for the money but in the end not for the spirit of Tanki.

Please ZiAa-Ya-DAD could you stop telling the world that you are so very good....There are more players like you who are very good and keep it to themselves. Most do fortunately. Perhaps it is a cultural thing or are you still very young? There is really no need for this constant bragging. It becomes annoying, really. Keep writing down the good things though, because you have strong opinions and that part of you is really good, I like that! But focus a lot less on your heroism and count more often to ten or even better a hundred before you react.....and you will soon benefit from your change in attitude on this forum. Also try to pick up the hints others give you. We will see...... Well, knowing you a bit from this forum I am preparing myself a little for the flames that will soon be heading my way.....

This is exactly what most people forget: you got to get used to it! The lighter the hull, the more extreme the change in characteriscs. It feels clumsy at first, but certainly with a bag full of experience, you should soon get the hang of it. A friend plays Tanki too, and he just said he really liked the Wasp. Also bumped into walls etc. but he is certain he can master the little bugger too! And I totally agree with your remark about the Viking. It really changed from a looser to a winner! A good allrounder with a nice HP and now also with more than enough speed, certainly when combined with mid- and long-range weapons (Smoky, Rico and Thunder). Do not really like the Rail/ Viking combo though, I would myself in that case definetely choose the Hornet. Did some Polygon DM 's with the Viking/ Smoky combo: it rocks! Drives really smooth and provides a very stable firing platform! I really like the faster pace of the game. There is never a dull moment, but instead more action than ever! Love it!!

Nice update! Overall pretty good! Only two things are bothering me. First the Rico. It is now really OP. Thankfully most Tankists do not use it properly, hope it stays that way....by properly I mean using the camera in birds view, to actually see how the plasma-balls are ricochetting. Also the main reason I do not like the gun: I use birds view a lot, but only in really short moments. It feels like you are not in the game anymore. I really like standard POV (Point of View). Can be nice in certain movies as well... A lot of less skilled players use the Rico mainly as a collission-attack weapon. It was already pretty devastating before the NP: it will be worse even now. The "perfect" replacement gun for the drugging Twinners! Secondly I do not like the fact that a lot of players are indeed suffering (I am just lucky because I have "just" started, no expensive M2 's yet) the consequences of this "Rebalance". Especially the ones who own a Mammoth M0 to M2. The M3 is affected to, but is still a HP fortress, can move a little and has his purpose. The Mammoth M0 to M2 are now really bad if you compare them to the Titan. IMHO that was already the case before the New Physics, but it became even worse. The Titan is affected too when you compare it to the other lighter hulls, but will be the King of the heavy tanks untill M3. About the Wasp I am not so sure. Even the Pro 's say that is more or less a disaster at this moment, but they might be able to "repair" it solely with their skills. So time will tell. (this "skill-repairing" is ofcourse not possible with the easy Mammoth.) The Wasp will certainly become less popular though and the new light King will be the Hornet for sure. Some weapons are not so good anymore too, but I do not yet have a decent enough knowledge of this. There will be no refund, but the fact is and stays that a lot of players have the feeling that they are "robbed". The changes of the NP are that huge, that I have to agree with them. Tanki, do your best to give those players some sort of compensation!

Just done a little bit Polygon for the first time with The Viking M1. Had not touched that hull for months..... After the first good battles with Mammoth, I made a switch to the Titan and I really loved the better turning and speed. Never went back to Mammoth and never wanted to. Did a lot of polygon DM 's with the Titan and it was a great hull for that job. Tankist who say that they will not change much at the Titan and conclude it is still a good hull are apparently simply not aware that Tanki obviously changed the environment: all pretty nimble and faster hulls, except for Mammoth and Titan. They do not evolve like the other lighter hulls and will never get totally extinct, but are becoming less potent and certainly less versatile. Now I have tried a little fighting with the "old" Viking and that went already pretty good. Better than I expected. Could not win from the druggers ofcourse but I was the best non-drugger in both battles. I really enjoyed the more active playing style that suits this hull. With the new speedier Viking to come things look even brighter because of the decent speed increase it will have áfter the New Physics have been implemented. I assume it will, besides the well-known stability, have a great speed for driving around while constantly aiming, shooting ánd hitting your enemies. Also you can quickly drive away from danger: fast approaching hulls with short-range weapons and also to find cover. In CTF it will become a really good all-rounder! The Viking makes a truly nice combo with the Smoky I think! And that very decent amount of 221 HP, at least as the Viking M2 has, is a benefit beyond any doubt! There is a certain pattern starting to appear: first Mammoth, than Titan, now Viking.....where will I end??? :)

Well, I already posted this on the "Let 's Discuss Titan" topic, but I think it is suited for this topic too: After this New Physics thingy (also known as Rebalance II) Titan will certainly had his best days. The Titan-player (even more so for Mammoth ofcourse) will in the New Speedy World be forced into a "Camping-" or the "Sitting Duck-Style": whatever you prefer to call it ;) I liked the old-style Titan which was really suited for big-map defense. Also DM 's where you could back-off a little from the deadly short-range weapons and had at least a good fighting-chance against them. Now it only takes an Isida, fast hull and a simple quick frontal attack and you can kiss your Titan goodbye. Also getting to some cover at all will become a momentuous task..... Personally I always try with my Titan to get some cover behind a Goldbox, and many times I was the first to hide behind it! But already now most of the times the other tanks are faster to that ultimate shield: but there's really always one who touches it...cover gone...noob! Sure the Titan was never fast, but it had a good balance between speed and armour. That will be all over when the New Physics will be implemented as the Stats are at the moment. For me personally it will mean a change in hull. I do not want that, but I feel I do not really have a choice. IMHO the same counts for the other "constantly frozen" hull: the Mammoth. Which I agree with Adam-909 will the better choice after the big change. If you are to become a Camper than the tank with the most HP will simply be the best choice. On the other extremely fast side of Tanki, there will be most likely a huge decline of Wasps in favor of Hornet. Speed is nice, but stability and aiming too....another "huge" victim of the New Physics. Not for the real Pro 's but for the vast majority the Wasp will not be a good choice anymore. But I still hope that we will continue to see Pro 's with Wasp/ Railgun combo's: they really kick ass! B) For me the new hull will be the Viking. Not so good at M1, but with the new upcoming micro-upgrades I assume you can pretty soon enjoy the lusts of the Viking M2. Which already has a really nice HP and gets a new decent speed in the New Era. The Viking M3 is another topic, a lot less cheerfull....but Viking M2: that will do! And at last I need to quote a famous South-Park line for all the future former Wasp, Titan and Mammoth-players: "They took our jobs!" :D and a bit of this  and this :(

I agree with Adam-909. I really like the Titan as it is now. Faster and a lot better turnable than the sluggish Mammoth. I used to play Mammoth M1 for a while, but what a relief when I tried the Titan M1. A perfect balance between HP and speed. I also prefer the Titan 's centered Turret, because you can not really do peek-a-boo with a heavy tank and if your skills allow you to drive as good back- as forwards, it is a very good platform for a quick turning turret as a Smoky. The Titan is considered to be ugly (it is actually a beauty with Tundra). ;) It is also a bit more expensive and upgrades later than the Mammoth, but the Titan M2 as we speak is really impressive and way better than the Mammoth M2! Mammoth M3 might rule, but hello you got to be Marshall first..... With the new physics the Mammoth and also Titan will be more or less nerfed, which to be honest could be a good thing to give the smaller tanks a better chance. But could the new speed-difference between light and heavy hulls be a little less? What I am afraid of is that a non-drugger with a heavy hull will constantly be frozen, burned and electrified to death. The light hulls with short-range weapons will have the heavy hulls in their attack-range in milli-seconds. No good chance of defending or even to back off a little. The initial huge HP will be almost of no help. Maybe I am mistaken, but that is my feeling. We will see....

An other, much more technical solution could be to make Mozilla Firefox to work as a RAM disk/drive. This means that instead of loading from the slower harddrive/SSD, you load Firefox from/in your quick RAM memory. The beauty is that Firefox has the option to make this happen in Firefox itself, so you do not have to use a buggy third-party programm at all! Search it all out for yourself, because I don't want to be responsible in any way, sorry! Just try to Google for Firefox and RAM and if you find something that includes "about:config" you are heading in the right direction. The only major drawback is that you loose your browser history (as soon as you close Firefox, your history is gone because nothing can be stored on RAM). I think this is just another benefit, because you do not clog your PC so much anymore, I myself never use history, but you can still bookmark which I find much more important. It works like a charm (always around 60 fps) at my PC, but I can not give you any guarantee it will on yours. Anymore Tanki players who have already done this at their PC?

And I really hope also, no plee that the Twins get nerfed! They are way too OP! They are very often huge contributors (unfortunately?...) to the Tanki Online economy. Even in my dreams (read nightmares) I see the usual suspect Mammoth/ Twin combo coming towards me and the little hope I had of surviving or even fighting is gone when I see he's completely drugged (again and again and again.......) They are one of the reasons I prefer DM 's, because if these, mostly non-skilled N..bs enter the arena, you can kiss a very nice evenly balanced CTF game goodbye! In DM 's you can at least win a decent amount of crystals, even more if I would/could completely ignore them, but a little payback once in a while tastes so sweet! ;) Ofcourse I get killed by so many other weapons, but I can really enjoy being taken out by for example a skilled Railgunner. It spares you from becoming too cocky.... So please nerf them, for the sake of the game. -
