    hubert190601 mult

delete hubert190601 has gone out of his way to obstruct a player, and then tip me during a gold box. He shoots and rams people so that he stands the best chance.
  2. If you say 0, you are not following the game rules. Therefore you are disrupting other players and being especially prudent about it. 2

    [Guide] Testing a new combination

I feel that at lower ranks, it is a good combination, however, as you progress up the game, railguns cause a lot of flipping amongst lighter tanks (especially after the update). Also, although it offers good agility, fire and wasp isn't seen as a high class combination. However, you are still entitled to your opinion, and if it's your favourite, I won't make you change your mind :P

    [Guide] Testing a new combination

Imagine the situation: You've been using one combo for AGES and its your favourite. You know that you're skilled with it and you're micro-upgrading it so it will be amazing. But then you see that the microing time is very long, and it will keep on getting larger the more you use it. You need another combination. And if that one suits you well, you might just make it you're second best combo. You need to go about this in the right way, and that is where this guide comes in! Choosing a Combination: You have a very large selection to choose from and if you get it wrong, you've wasted valuable time and maybe even lost a gold or two. Firstly, the turret. Turrets in the game have a range of characteristics, some of which are quite similar. Try to choose a turret with similar attributes to your favourite. A couple of examples I can think of include: Freeze and Firebird, Thunder and Hammer or perhaps Ricochet and Smoky. I have chosen these examples (some of which you may disagree with) because they all have the same sorts of tactics. Freeze and Fire are short range, involving a lot of turret turning. Thunder and Hammer have short, sharp shots and moderate reloads which require both defensive and offensive tactics. Ricochet and Smoky both have low damage, but fast reload, making them good attackers. Once you have chosen your turret, you need a hull that compliments it. Make sure that the hull suits your position in a battle (attacking or defending) and helps you to use your turret as efficiently a possible. List of Complimenting Combinations: From this list, we can see that Hornet and Viking are probably the most versatile hulls, where as it is harder to use Wasp and Titan are less complimentary to turrets. But don't stick to what I recommend, mix and match to find what is best for you. Now that you have chosen your combination (and perhaps a nice paint to make it look good), you need to test the combination. Testing the Combination: This is the crucial part; there's no point choosing a nice combination if you can't use it well. The first step is to find a good battle. Make sure it is against players you normally battle against (no point in playing much higher ranks as you might get smashed). If you have a very low modified combination, try staying in large battles so your team won't hate you as much. Now, play! You are looking to see if you can or have picked up the necessary tactics to perform well. The ultimate test is to go up against a tougher tank and try to kill them. If you succeed, then you might just have found a strong combination for yourself. If your not doing so well, perhaps try a different battle, or take up a different stance. if you're still not succeeding, it is probably time to try another combination. Try different maps and different positions to get a real feel for the combo. Maybe even revert to a different combination mid-battle to do a comparison. A big piece of advice from me, is that if you just can't do well with it, stop using it. Don't think that you have to be a master with everything, there will always be a combination for you. And hey ho! you can always stick to your favourite! If the modification of the combination is too low and that is what is getting in the way of your decision, you may feel that it won't be for you. However there is one other method you can try. The Test Server: Obviously, the test server is only available infrequently. This means you have to time it right. once you've given feedback on whatever the developers want testing, you have free roam of any modification of any combination you like. Test out a new combination M3 (try not to do M4) to get a feel for what it could be like. test with and without drugs and then you can get a proper feel for the combination. it is how I decided that I should use Viking rather than Mammoth. Then, save up your crystals, and spend on your new-found combination. Having two combos means you are a very versatile player with a range of skills. But don't rush into buying the next modification immediately, take your time, develop skills, then make the jump so that you can be as effective as possible with it. I hope this guide has helped, and that you may try a new combination in the next few weeks. It might even be better than your current one! See you on the battlefield! mcmonkey25
  6. I find Camatasia works well for editing and ease of use... But I'm not revealing anymore secrets ;)
  7. There are two main ways of doing it. Download recording software like Camatasia or I think Bandicam can do it. Make sure you have downloaded the video (which can be done normally on websites. Then record using the software your commentary of the piece. Edit so that everything is in time etc. then upload to YouTube. You can also using recording technology (i.e. phone recorder or recording device) to record yourself commentating on the video. Put onto your computer and edit with the video. Then upload to YouTube. It depends on which method is the most convenient.
