Sure, Mammoth with Prodigi: not that uncommon in "XP 's" nowadays. ;) -
True, like I as a left hander have always used the pc mouse in my right hand... (besides that anyone can do it, you have the added benefit of being awesome cool though ;) )

Guide [Issue 27] What To Mount On: Viking

keen eye...it should be fourth indeed -
Care to explain? This noob doesn 't get it. & changes the locks... :D

They have left I suppose, those quitters just stay to see whom is leaving next? :P Nope, he 's still here. B) See the green line: please don 't talk nonsense...there are plenty of Tankers who happen to love this update, as I am well aware there are also plenty of Tankers who don 't. I suspect many of the latter group will at least get used to the Smart Cooldown in time, some might even start to like it... Regarding your last line: don 't worry! (or do in your case?)

Other [Issue 27] The Dictator: Tanki's Finest News Source - September
Lord-of-the-Snipers replied to GoldRock in Newspaper Archive
Nice article, but it could use a small edit. There better be some blank space behind "There were numerous defendants however. Players like Lord-of-the-Snipers and MrTactics were keen to assert their belief of how this update would improve the gameplay of Tanki significantly." By doing so, in the nearby future there can be easily added: "And as we all know by now, they were right" That 's all! :P -
Guide [Issue 27] The Updated Guide to XP Etiquette
Lord-of-the-Snipers replied to Valletta in Newspaper Archive
Oops sorry, thought he translated them himself. Honour towards you guys and especially to the translator Mafioza121! -
^Nice article, as nice as the update is... :) Good job! A Smart and easy solution to be able to use supplies uneconomically in battles is ofcourse multiple accounts. This way you receive plenty of drugs with the daily gifts: so you hardly have to Cooldown in using them. Besides you can get a lot of free supplies in contests etc. You get those supplies for free, so it 's up to you to "convert" them into those beautiful blue crystals!

Other [Issue 27] Kirby's Garage Analysis - Part 1
Lord-of-the-Snipers replied to Pathfinder in Newspaper Archive
Nice Garage Analysis. I like the "story" form in which you wrote it! B) Very, very familiair: "Shaft on the other hand? I used it about three times and died of boredom." :D Being close to Colonel I 'm having a high anticipation towards the Smoky M2 (though I believe a Thunder M3 with MU 's is stronger) so your own enthusiasm about the little "precious" ;) is more than welcome: "I invested in Smoky m2, and it is absolutely amazing. Yes, it's absolutely amazing. It's extremely fun to play, and extremely powerful, and I now use it more than my Twins M3. Definitely worth the money, and I cannot wait to get Smoky M3 after trying it on the test server." "I hope to get Viking M3 for my Twins and Smoky": fair enough, but if you happen to have some spare money: try Thunder M3! -_- -
Review [Issue 27] In Comparison: Twins or Ricochet?
Lord-of-the-Snipers replied to Pathfinder in Newspaper Archive
Good article! In battles I fear the versatile Rico a bit more than I do the straight attack Twins. With Twins attacking you, you have time to counter attack or take cover. A loaded Rico too close for comfort, so that you can 't dodge the plasma balls: certain death. -
New guide in the Press section on XP etiquette: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=223945&do=findComment&comment=3966966 Worth the read and it contains a lot of links to other mostly XP articles.

Guide [Issue 27] What To Mount On: Viking
Lord-of-the-Snipers replied to GoldRock in Newspaper Archive
Viking with Thunder combined is indeed awesome! For a long time I used Thunder with Hornet, because I preferred the fast speed of the Hornet, but lately I "rediscovered" the Viking/Thunder combo. No need to say more: "The fact that Viking has a good balance of speed and health using, one could argue, a slight focus on the health over the speed seems to suit Thunder very well. It allows the weapon to be used as part of more intensive gameplay, where high damage may be both dealt and received, whilst still retaining enough speed to make this combination particularly versatile." You nailed it again... ;) (I do agree with lordmostafa. Viking/Smoky is a 7.5 IMO considering the 8 the Hunter/Smoky combo received) -
Don 't know you and your situation, but whatever it is you really shouldn 't think of yourself that you are a horrible person! Everyone makes mistakes and instead of all the negativity consider it a good start that you are able to realize the ones you 've seem to have made. Next try to make a positive change with a more positive attitude. As said we all make mistakes: that 's why most of us can forgive them if the mistakes are made by others towards us. Don 't worry about that. Wish you all the best with your life! p.s. good luck with the exams, sort things out and if you feel like it: pop by in TO! :)

You are probably right...this XP gamemode is mainly wishfull thinking from my part.

Wow, very nice tip! This code changes the speed of the camerazoom! With this you can go (a lot) faster from bird 's eye view to the horizon view and vice versa. To give you an idea how it works I found this on YouTube: This guy enters the values 1 (sweet), 5 (way too fast) and 10 (insanely fast) for the camera zoom. (the default speed is 0.5, this is what you are normally using) 1. With Ctrl+Shift pressed you once press K (now you get a white screen on the left half of your screen) 2. In the bottom of that white screen you enter: vars.set cam_vspeed 1 (1 or another number) (if you have a problem with getting the _ symbol than use this: push alt and on the numpad 95, when you release the alt you will get the _ symbol, so again: alt (numpad!) 95 and next you release the alt key. An even better solution is to use WordPad where you have already entered the complete code(s) and use copy/paste every time you want to use this: much more convenient) 3. After entering the code you push enter and the value gets changed from the default 0.5 to 1. 4. Use the Escape button to get back to the normal screen 5. If you want to change this value without disturbance you better create a Private Battle where you change the value of the camera speed in all peace. When done you enter a regular battle with the newly fixed setting! 6. And indeed: PROFIT! ^_^ 7. Thanks a lot Hazel-Rah! B) Already had some battles and 1 is indeed a sweet setting! This quicker zooming really helps, because scanning the battle situation goes a lot faster now! Faster than your opponents... Fast, but definetely not too fast and I am already convinced this will be something that I will (have to) use every battle. Besides the small disadvantage of having to enter the code every first time you start, there is also an advantage because you start of in a Private Battle: being the only tank in it the first start goes a lot faster! (and as long as you keep fighting you don 't have to enter it again because of the new ability to switch between servers right in the game!) When hereafter you go to a normally slow starting regular battle like a full Dusseldorf you will enter it more quickly. :) p.s. keep it a "secret" .... ;)
