I might upload another video :) Not too soon though, it'll probably be the rank up video with the most time and effort put into it... ever Hopefully I'll get it done someday. o:

I miss the old TFP too :\ (even older than what u mentioned, even before kate)

I say I am the master of "The Flying Schnitzel" trick, and you don't even know what that is so u can't argue with me. o:

It's because the new anti-cheat system, when you accelerate too quickly (or slow down too quickly, which mathematically is acceleration in the opposite direction) you self destruct. And it happens a lot when you jump on other tanks because of lags and the buggy collision between tanks. We call them parkourists because in Russian someone who does parkour is called parkourist, and a huge part of the community is Russian. I think. idk if it's the real reason, maybe many people are just not familiar with the term "traceur"...

The reason it happens is not because of a bug, it's the physics of the game. Basically the engine power (the "power" property) of the lower modification hull is too weak to overcome the gravity because it doesn't push the hull against the wall strong enough to produce enough friction. *nerd smiley* There are 4 ways to overcome this problem without upgrading your hull: Try to get the top edge of your hull (that is leaning on the wall) as high as it takes to stay leaning on the wall without slipping down. If you have to get your hull rotated too much so that it is no longer a good ramp for the trick, you should get another tank to stand under you to support your hull and prevent it from slipping down. You can also use this method to set up a ramp made of 2 tanks (one leaning on the other) pretty much anywhere without needing a wall to lean on, even on ramps!) You can also use a longer hull (Titan is the longest hull in the game) to try to get the top of the hull on top of the wall you are leaning on, this will make you a lot more stable. Or you could use some rapidly-firing weapon (such as Twins or Vulcan) to keep your hull from falling by making a wheelie and shooting forward continuously to stay up. The disadvantage of this method is that you have a short amount of time to go up the ramp before it will move too far back because tanks almost always move backwards when making a wheelie this way. The advantage is that you don't actually need a wall to lean on, so you can set up this wheelie-ramp pretty much anywhere. I hope this helps :)

It should contain not more than 4 players, but less than 4 is allowed.

We want to be only us 2 in the team

There is still hope me and darrrex will have enough time to make the MOP video together... :) (btw this screenshot isn't from the video)

One of the reasons they decided to move to Unity from Flash is that Unity is much better in terms of performance. As you can see in the videos, the graphics are much more detailed, just look at all the small moving parts of the turrets and hulls. There should be a nice improvement in performance in the Unity version.

Let's discuss Tanki X parkour
SwiftSmoky replied to SwiftSmoky in Let's discuss Tanki X parkour Archive
The Unity version of Tanki Online is coming soon, and we already saw some footage from it and we will keep getting more info about it every week. Based on what we can see now, what do you think the future parkour will look like? My personal opinion: There are more buildings on the background of maps, especially in Rio: So there will be more places to climb. Also the houses look much more detailed and have more different levels. If the roofs collision will be as good as the looks of the buildings, it will be much more fun to do parkour on these buildings. About the physics - it looks like they are trying to keep it similar to the current version of the game, though little things can sometimes have a big effect on parkour. So this one is still a mystery. I expect some changes that will make these more realistic looking tanks also move a bit more realistically, but you never know how realistic they want to go... The game has to stay not too realistic to be fun. One worrying thing is that the far houses on the background of maps will actually not be objects that you can collide with - but just another level of the background image. They once mentioned such an idea in the V-log. For example, the long bridge that starts at the edge of Silence and goes towards the skybox, is probably gonna be only a visual object that you can't collide with. Or maybe you will be able to collide only with the closer edge of it, until the edge of the house next to it, in which case it's fine. Also there will be new heights to conquer even if the collision of roofs will not be very detailed, there were many tall buildings added to some maps. For example, the tall red house on top of Silence will be a nice place: What are your assumptions and hopes regarding parkour in the upcoming Unity version of Tanki Online?- 37 replies

Looking forward to see some good MOP videos :) I'm watching you all

To me the lighter Wasp (that could do the Leap trick the best way) is the most missed thing... :\ Also Space Madness was an awesome map and the secret rooms...

I must say it's impressive that this club is holding on for so long and is active again after these big changes (changed leaders and members)... Great job, keep it up! ^_^

Just looked at my old topics and found this one... I added to the first post the parkour fighting video I made a while ago. I'm wondering if someone else will ever upload a good parkour fighting video too...

Read the description of my last video, and if u want a bit more info look at the comments as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIqhFF8EWl0

Just wondering... is there any way to prove someone changed his nickname a few times? Let's say I had 5 nicknames and the first one was "Swift", how can I prove I was called "Swift" if I had this name before you knew me, and how can I prove I had 5 nicknames?

I am ranking up in real army...

lol I can do all OMP tricks with my equipment, except for Leap (I can do it in very specific places still, but it's a lot less effective than before) and another two tricks I never showed. The rest is possible but requires better equipment now and the tricks are less effective.

lol ik, not expecting another interview :P and I don't really have time for it now... Army takes pretty much all of it now. Doing parkour fighting in real life ;)
-
Say a lot of sh*t and you just might find one golden nugget in between ;) lol jk I don't think any of these ideas is really bad, though I don't read most of the newspaper so idk.. :P Parkour fighting! :D
