Eh, Magnum, or whatever it's going to be named, seems kinda... idk... random, I guess. I'm not very interested in it right now. I'll see what happens when it comes out though. The machine gun seems pretty interesting. It's probably going to be a major turret for parkour. Do you have any thoughts on the soon-to-be-implemented turrets? (If you don't know about them, info can be found about them in the 24th and 25th episodes of the V-LOG.)

Nice, time to test!

I like the graphics, and I think it makes the game more versatile. Though, there are some things I don't like about it. For instance, you can't use 'Wait for Him to Come Out' style sniping, and you just can't really be as stealthy with it anymore. So... I think for shaft-users the update's a downgrade, and for Tanki Online it's an upgrade. Yes and no.

Contest [Issue 29] Continue the Story! [Chapter 4]
Raredust replied to Pathfinder in Newspaper Archive
Part 4: Comrade We continued sprinting through Berlin for what felt like half an hour. After some time, too tired to continue fleeing, we stopped and hid in debris. The Germans seemed to have stopped chasing us. I suppose they had more important matters to attend to. After a minute or so, reality hit me in the face. I had no idea where I was, and neither did Boris. I looked around; the vast remains of Berlin surrounded us, the city appeared almost completely reshaped. Boris lowered his head, signifying a discouraging look of defeat. I was almost caused to show an identical reaction, but I knew that wouldn't help. We couldn't give up; it wouldn't help to admit defeat before being defeated. He looked deep into my eyes. No words were shared as he slowly nodded. We both knew what the other was thinking. We weren't going to give up. We crept through the city, using quality stealth tactics which we learned through training. We had to stay out of sight of the Germans; the torturing techniques which they used on the captured pounced my imagination. Night came upon us, and we slept under obscure rubble which we correspondingly believed wouldn't be noticed until a later period. We spent the night uncomfortably, and sleep ceased to easily dawn upon us. Early the next morning, I awakened, quickly experiencing the impacts of my troublesome night. Suddenly, I realized something, something that caused me to want to collapse in failure. Boris was gone. What's the use... What's the use. These words took me captive. I sat in the rubble, motionless. Shortly after, I sighed, and then crawled out of the debris. I looked around, ignoring the tears that succeeded to blur my vision. Then I noticed something to my left. As my vision cleared, I stared, identifying two men conversing with each other, trying not to be seen. One of them looked German, and the other was Boris. Attempting to conceal my immense fury, and too far away to hear their conversation, I pulled out my sidearm and cautiously approached them; ready for anything. I tried very hard not to do anything foolish, knowing that it would probably only lead me to further trouble. As I walked closer, Boris speedily looked to observe me. I gave him a confused look, perplexed by the entire situation. Suddenly, the man that was with Boris briskly pulled out his firearm. "Stop!" Boris yelled and swiftly grabbed his arms. The man made no eye contact with Boris, and slowly lowered his arms, staring at me. I stopped in front of them. I looked at Boris, then at the man, and then back at Boris. A slight glare hovered across my face. "No, it's okay, really." Boris said to me in a convincing manner. "This man can help us." The man continued staring, and then detected my determination, "My name is Kirill. I am a Russian comrade disguising as a German. I know your friend Boris." "What... What do you want with us?" I said, still confused and irritated. He quickly replied, "I help Russian soldiers who were unable to escape during the withdrawal... Fear no longer, I know a way to get you out." -
Crystal boxes being added to the fund sounds good. Though I hope Gold Box drops will be put back the way they were. Besides, "Gold box will be dropped soon" is classic now. :P

Read this if you hate the "Predictable Drops" update
Raredust replied to Raredust in Read this if you hate the "Predictable Drops" update Archive
I really don't understand why so many people hate the update so much. The main complaint that I read about is mults. But think about it; 100 crystal boxes only fall sometimes, and I see many people battling during the times that they aren't falling. Plus, when they DO fall, people ARE indeed distracted. But both teams are distracted, and the gamers that are playing to actually battle, on both sides, continue to do so. So it's still pretty even. And, this is a NEW update. As time passes, crystal boxes will probably receive less praise. Also, you could always play DM too. When there are mults there, you get to beat them up. ;) Yes, I know that there are some other effective complaints too, but seriously, it's not as bad as it's said to be. Another thing people are saying is "You don't need to use skill anymore". Skill IS involved. I've been playing and checking out the update after I saw all of the negative comments, and I DO think skill is just as necessary (or maybe even more necessary!) as before. I believe that skill is definitely involved. Yesterday, in Desert (DM), I caught Gold with Hornet against heavy, medium, and light tanks. I used..... skill. :) I understand some of the reasons why people are complaining, but it really is not that bad. The Tanki developers aren't dumb. They wouldn't just throw the update out and then retire, leaving Tanki like this forever. Things will be changed, things will be improved. Think about how Tanki has improved over the years. It'll continue to improve and grow, as usual. Please guys, try to enjoy the update, it will be improved and it's really not as bad as everyone's making it. You will get used to it. The developers WILL try to improve the update, there is plenty of skill involved, and, after all, Tanki is still very, very fun to play (is it not?). Taking all of this into account, in all seriousness, do you really think the update deserves such negativity? Please, don't act like the end of Tanki Online has come. It is far from its end. Also, If the update is really so bad, then you probably wouldn't want to play much anymore... You do. ;) By the way, this is just my opinion, but I personally feel like some people are being negative about the update just because others are... Tanki won't let us down. Just remember that. Happy... fighting... I guess... -
lol, not me. I guess I'll just have to buy during sales.

So, will Fortress kit ever be back?...
-
What do you mean? What kit will replace it?
-
Fortress kit was in my garage with a countdown. After the countdown was over, it was removed. I know the news said that would happen, but, when will it be back?
-
Let me guess, the paint is 50% off mines. If I'm right, I should get free cry. :P

What determines who gets a kill in deathmatch?
Raredust replied to Raredust in What determines who gets a kill in deathmatch? Archive
Question: There are two Freezes attacking a mammoth at the same time. The mammoth is killed by Freeze #1. The two Freezes were shooting at the same time. So why did Freeze #1 get the kill, but Freeze #2 didn't? The killer isn't picked randomly, is it? Simple, but quite important. Any answers? -
lol hogree is funny.
