Since I see your posts all over the place, I just want to ask: do you have nothing better to do with your time than to shill for Tanki?

New Day New Way to Play: "Buyers", "Druggers" & "Griefers"
ERADICATIONNATION replied to LittleWillie in Archive
You must think you're really clever or funny. You're not. It's apparent you aren't reading anything I'm typing, and it seems you don't even care enough to proofread your own posts. I guess it's quantity over quality when it comes to shilling as hard as you do. All you've done is reinforce what I said above; you don't care if people hate the horrible supplies system in this game, as you've essentially told me to suck it up in an obnoxiously condescending tone. I know that supplies exist in the game. I understand you're trying to be witty by making it appear shocking, but as I have already pointed out on numerous occasions, I KNOW THEY EXIST. Get that through your dense little head. What I've been saying is that they exist, they suck, and players like you will only tell me to put up with a system that I think ruins the game. And of course Tanki's not gonna change the system, as those who can't perform well without their tanks being twice as strong are more likely willing to give Tanki their cash. The term "drugger" simply exists to shun those who can't play effectively without overpowered supplies at their disposal. Nothing more, nothing less. It will exist as long as the supplies themselves do...as it rightfully should. Oy gevalt... -

There's nothing outlandish about that claim, it's obvious and unfortunate. I already addressed my issues with that claim in my previous post. You clearly aren't very good at reading comprehension. I could also make the claim that you have here--it's your opinion that supplies are an integral part of Tanki and should thus be used to their fullest, correct? It appears that you fall victim to the same fallacy you try to accuse me of, having every player perform according to some vision and not according to what they would like to see in the game. Many players would love to see the supply system revamped, myself included, but shills like you would rather just tell them to suck it up. "It's part of the game guys!!!!! It can't be a bad thing if it's in the game!!!1111!! You're not playing it right if you don't want to use supplies!!!!1111!!!11" Piss off, shill. -
New Day New Way to Play: "Buyers", "Druggers" & "Griefers"

Well, as a "griefer" who's been here for five years, I simply think supplies are an awful mechanic to begin with. They're uninteresting and overpowered, making M0s as strong as M3s. Battles are reduced to tiresome slogs with these supplies, where contests are overwhelmingly decided based on what supplies are at hand and how many are left to expend. Before duels even begin, the victor can be determined simply by comparing what supplies are being used by each combatant. If both tanks are able to use drugs, then the total effect is as if they aren't even active in the first place. Matches as a whole are heavily influenced by what team is willing to expend more supplies, but even then the victor is almost never repaid thanks to Tanki's god awful economy, making battles wasted efforts. Crystals used to purchase drugs are rarely repaid, and the amount earned by missions never lasts long. Drugs simply invoke a tedious cycle of spending (time or crystals) and consuming. It's not fun or engaging in the least. I've always hated the argument you use here. So what if drugs in the game? That doesn't make them an inherently good mechanic. But your paragraph about "buyers" is even worse. You seriously downplay the effect aspects of the game like product kits and easy crystals have on balance. You mean to tell me that a product kit that allows a Lieutenant General to access M3s several long ranks before Marshal is only a "little" advantage over other players? That 400,000 crystals is only a "little" ways to go for a non-buyer? That having a pool of instant crystals for a varied garage and MUs isn't going to give buyers an upper hand, especially now where maps and opponents for regular battles are randomly determined? What a bunch of crap. Small advantage, my ass. If you wanna call me some petty name for this, go ahead. I really don't care. You're the one who's trying to justify some terrible game play mechanic and the effects of spending real money on a freakin' flash game, not me. -
When you are promised better battle funds but can't find any good battles because of "matchmaking:" Seriously, I've seen some pretty awful updates in my time here, but this is a whole new level of awful. Can someone please explain the rationale behind this to me?
-
$18 for a freakin' new username? Never change, Tanki. Never change.
-
Or alterations.

Yeah, I dunno about this one. One thing in perticular I don't like is the balancing concerning hulls- I think having the same HP across all hulls in a class limits diversity for a series of hulls that are supposed to be unique from each other. Additionally, the pricing of some of the hulls doesn't make sense. For example, M3 Mammoth is more expensive than M3 Titan, and both are will be available at the same rank. Yet, M3 Titan will have the same HP and better maneuverability. Although I guess Mammoth will have better acceleration? Whoop-de-doo. It also seems like a lot of other M3 stats are getting nerfed, even for hulls/turrets that will be increased in price. For making this "next generation" of tankers wait until Marshall to get M3s, I can't help but feel like the new stats will be very underwhelming and underpowered. But I would like to be proven wrong on this....
-
^especially with a turret like Shaft that has unlimited range. For some reason I can't edit the above post.
-
Ok. And I don't recall ever disputing that fact. But Mammoth's lack of speed doesn't stop it from being a useful hull in some situations.
-
An essay? A paragraph that took me less than five minutes to type is an essay? Yeesh. Basically I replied in the first place 'cause you said that people who used the Mammoth/Shaft were people who just camped and went for mindless kills. But after this dismal argument it appears we have the same roles in battles, regardless of the hull. I have no issue with your preferences. Your preference is fine. I just wanted to defend mine, that's it.
-
Uh, what? Where did you get the idea that I treat an object in a flash game like a son? Did I come off to you as insulted? As perturbed, maybe? I mean, dude, it's fine by me if you keep on abhorring a hull, I was just trying to tell you what I do with the 'vile thing' known as Mammoth equipped. that's it. But seriously though, 'abhor' is a pretty strong word, and I think if you care enough to abhor something in this game you might be taking it a bit too seriously...
-
Okay, so we both aim to make the same contributions in team battles. But I guess you despise me 'cause I like using Mammoth instead of a lighter hull. At this point you're pretty much saying, 'I abhor your combination because I can move faster than you!'
-
Alright. But even though you can move around better, aren't your contributions the same? Don't you still cover your teammates and protect your flag?
-
Oh really? With Mammy-Shaft I can still provide cover to my teammates by destroying enemies, destroy anyone trying to capture my team's flag or control point(s), or even block off certain paths in a map by eliminating/blocking anyone who goes by. But even then, why would you be OK with Titan but not with Mammoth? They're pretty similar.

The recent update is like you guys selling me a watch for twice the original price while selling me the battery seperately. There's no reason why the watch should cost twice the original price, especially with its battery removed, no matter how nice the watch looks.

The new SHOP and new paints are in the game
ERADICATIONNATION replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
On the first page it says that eight new paints will be added to the garage, two of which will be premium only. So I'm sorry that I figured at least six of 'em would be normal paints like the others. -
The new SHOP and new paints are in the game
ERADICATIONNATION replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
Eight new looks, huh? For 500k crystals each, I assume? -
Why the hate? Dude, I can't even afford to take my favorite paints into battle with me. For example, I love how the Alien paint looks, but have never bought it because the protections were never useful to me. Now it's 150k crystals. Now I'm sure you're going to blame me for never buying it, but here's the thing: if the paint was cheaper, I could actually make it useful by equipping a module that has the protections I want to it. But it's overpriced, and because of these high prices the purpose of the update is destroyed, at least for me since I can't even afford my favorite paints to equip with good protections.
-
I thought the whole point of this update was to allow for using whatever paint you wanted with whatever protections. I don't own many paints. But now they're not even affordable, which kinda defeats the purpose of the update.
-
So....we now have paints that cost several hundred thousand crystals without offering any protection? And that said protection costing additional crystals?
-
Guess we'll just have to wait and see...
-
Well, it's possible that paints as a whole will become more expensive if both modules and paints cost decent amounts of crystals. If paints are not reduced in price, then people will essentially be buying the same product twice (A paint and a module instead of just a paint that contains inherently contains protections). As a result, more people will have to buy crystals to compensate. But I really don't know much when it comes to how things will be priced, so I'm sure someone with that knowledge could disprove this little theory of mine.
-
They might include modules with the rest of the kit. I can't tell you for sure, though.
-
Sorry if this has already been answered, but will paints (now being rendered only cosmetic) be decreased in price? I'm only talking about the physical paint here and not the module.
