I'm not really sure if I like the upcoming update concerning paints. Having to pull up a seperate menu just to analyze someone's stats just seems cumbersome to me. There's a nice simplicity to the current system: you see a paint, you know what you're fighting. And if you've been playing this crap for a while like me you're probably going to keep on associating certain paints with certain protections after the update.

Meh, I don't like how I can no longer upgrade individual parameters. Before, I could freely upgrade what stats I wanted, but now I'm gonna have to upgrade everything at once, regardless of weather or not I want to. I want to increase the damage output of my turrets and increase my hull's HP, but don't want to waste my crystals on parameters that aren't important to me (like hull weight). As a non-buyer, I don't exactly have a steady influx of crystals in my account that I can use to pay for everything.

Ugh. It was painful to hear that buyers are going to get yet another advantage over non-buyers. I mean, ****, how can I believe you guys are trying to balance the game if you keep on adding crap like premium accounts? Do I even have to explain how this is going to unbalance the game? I understand how business works, and I understand that servers are expensive to run. But is there really no other way to bring in the cash?

Let's take a look at the disadvantages of Shaft: -Limited visibility -Long reload time -You have to sit and charge the gun -You can't move while sniping -The laser scope So, you mean to say that overcoming any of those problems requires no skill at all? As for the main topic, I think the laser is too revealing. I think a laser dot (as said above) or maybe wind or distance being factors in aiming would be better.

This update is pretty much a big '**** you!' from the developers to the non-buyers. The devs say they're working to balance the game out, but now allow a WO5 to get M3 Freeze or a Major to get M3 Shaft. Nice. I didn't think they could come up with anything worse than product kits, but now we have this. Bravo, guys. You could argue that MUs are rather expensive, but those damned product kits were several hundred thousand crystals each and were pretty common on the battlefield. Many buyers bought more than one, too. So what I'm saying here is that buyers aren't going to hold back in getting MUs. Therefore this update is going to really offset the balance in the game.

The problem with the scope's location only happens to me when I have my screen shrunk. The scope is in its normal place whenever I make my screen full size, so making your screen full size might fix the problem.

^daninjadude, how is this keeping Shaft good? Shaft had two good things going for it: its power and its stealth. This update removes the stealth of Shaft, so now everyone on the battlefeild can see where you are. The issue is that once you're found, you're screwed! It's hard to defend yourself in a close range situation, especially if you're attacked from behind. Also, to move around you need a light hull, and if you want to use a light hull with Shaft you need to remain secret. But the laser will keep you seen, and your light hull won't stand a chance. With a heavy hull you can't move around easily. Finally, Shaft did indeed need experience to master, as it was one of the toughest guns to use effectively (for reasons why see my previous post). Any questions? -

I was someone who brought my Shaft to every single battle I went to since I got it. I learned the tactics, mastered the gameplay, and had a lot of 'success' in Tanki killing anyone who took my team's flag. But above all else, I had a lot of fun with Shaft. I kept using Shaft no matter what was done to it through previous updates.... ...But this laser scope update is completely random! What was broken with Shaft? What is the reason for this crap? Let me tell you, there was nothing wrong with the old scope. Yes, a Shaft could one shoot your Hornet and you couldn't easily tell where the shot came from, OK. But Shaft still had the worst specs of any gun, besides power, and a handful of other problems. Also, Shaft was easily overwhelmed. For example, if two tanks were running away with your flag, you could only kill one and your flag would get away. Besides, Shaft could only one-shoot light tanks, so it's not like Shaft could insta-kill everything in the battle room at once! So boo-hoo if you got one shotted, there's a bigger picture here. Shaft was hard to use in the first place, now using Shaft is like having a sign above your tank that says "I'm right here! Shoot me!" Is this "dynamic" gameplay? Is this even fair? Also, I kinda liked the wobble. It made Shaft hard to use and sometimes the wobble could be used to your advantage. First Product Kits, then a few random rebalances, and then Predictable Drops. Then this crap. This game is going strieght to Hell. Oh, one more thing: my M2 Shaft doesn't shoot the right color shells; they're yellow instead of orange. -
This update sucks hard....all team battles are ruined by mults and (ironically) crystal box drops. Whenever a 100 crystal box comes all playing stops and everyone tries to get it. Just like when a Gold Box drops, as crystal box drops seem to be as scarce as Gold Boxes. So whenever there is a high value box-drop there is chaos that follows. Therefore team battles are broken. Nice one, Tanki. I think this might be an update to encourage buying. Think: If crystal box drops are now rarer and if the boxes are harder to reach, then many players will struggle to get crystals. I know crystals are awarded at the end of battles, but many playes still earned a lot of crystals simply by collecting as they played. Without being able to collect crystal boxes, these players might have a hard time collecting crystals, so Tanki hopes that they will buy crystals instead of trying to collect them. Earning them through battles is difficult too, because if your team is going to mult for crystals or supplies (or both), then you and your team are not going to win. But whatever. Just my two cents, but in my opinion this is the worst update since the introduction of product kits. Sorry if I'm just repeating stuff that's already been said, but the more negitivity, the better.

I'm starting to have mixed opinions about this. I noticed that some druggers just wait to use full drugs, and now the defenders can't immediately use two supplies to counter a player with full drugs. But at least there are no more instant druggers with the ability to spam their drugs perpetually... Also, this update was supposed to save players drugs, but I feel I am going through supplies twice as fast just from countering other drugs. :huh: -

I liked this update more than I though I would. The first battle I joined today was the best one I've had in a long time. It was fair, and for once everyone was on the same level. There were no mega-druggers! But the new symbols are a bit confusing, and I don't like the fact that the supplies boxes are in the middle of the bottom of my screen. But whatever.....druggers are gone! -

To H.O.L.Y.G.H.O.S.T: Everyone (except buyers) hated product kits, and yet product kits have not been removed. Everyone hated the small rebalences we had, but those have not been removed. A few hate Shaft, but Shaft has not been removed, and so on and so forth... My point: this update will probably not be removed, so deal with it. ._. Sorry for all of the edits, but it's such a pain to type with an iPad.....

I think this update will make supply box drops too important in battles, especially in maps like Stadium that have frequent drug drops in a wide open area. Now it won't be who has the most drugs but who can reach more pickups faster. But whatever. Druggers will be no more! :D

First, please keep your posts one color and font size..... So basically the less time left you have to wait for a Micro-Upgrade, the lower the cost of the speed up. That's all there is to it. Did you even read the first post?
