1. Sure creating Pro battles are free, but they cost 500 crystals and nobody joins them. 2. 100,000 crystals for the drug kit doesn't just come out of thin air. Paying 100,000 just for supplies seems like a waste.

It makes plenty of "sence". It shows throughout your "career" you have learned no skill and have to rely on your drugs to win any battle, which demotes yourself to the rank of "noob". Would you care to take me on? Beating you would be nothing more than an inconvenience to my day.

Anyone who has to drug non-stop and/or buy a kit to gain the upper hand in battle.

Well, aren't you pugnacious? You just gave me the same reply twice... Anyway I did go back and read some of your posts. They are just a bunch of whining and complaining that kits are actually fairer now and not just for buyers like you. One thing you said was that kits are easily obtainable for both buyers and non-buyers alike. So, if that is true, why do you buy crystals to get kits?

OK. Sorry I didn't waste my time going through seventeen pages of forum posts looking for just yours. What a mistake I made. -_- Besides, you're probably just mad that the M3 medium kit will be no longer available at your rank, and that the developers' decision got swayed by the majority of players who have the decency to avoid spending actual money on an internet game.

So you are saying that it makes no sense for a kit to unlock at the rank its contents unlock? Which makes more sense? That, or a brigadier running around with M3s and CLAY paint with full drugs on? Also, if kits are cheaper then more players will buy them.

What about those who already bought one of these kits? Will there be any change for them? Anyway thanks for the changes Tanki. Now buyers can't get a seriously OP kit at brigadier and ruin battles with it. I hear a few users here saying that the kits are better at a lower rank. Well, not for a non buyer like me. I can only fight them but I could never dream of owning one of my own. I don't buy and I don't waste an entire day playing Tanki. It took me 9 months to raise 250k crystals because I'm only on for something like an hour and a half a day and my playing style gives me few chances to collect crystal boxes. I also do not buy supplies because of my low income, so if I don't get a daily bonus of drugs, I have a very limited supply. Therefore I can't easily drug back against a kit buyer. The kit itself isn't necessarily hard to destroy, it's just the fact that they typically drug and drug and drug. If the M3 medium kit is drugging it's game over for anyone who is its opponent. This is true for any kit. Add drugs to the pre-existing equipment and you have an unstoppable enemy. I am well aware that players could always buy and drug, but back then it would at least be a fairer fight, as it would typically be M1 vs. M1 ( just an example) or M3 against M3 in the same rank limits. There was no such thing as a brigadier with clay paint on his/her tank fighting the same rank with just M2s and a typical paint. This is all I have to say.

I got twins M2 today. Absolutely terrific for mid to close range, but I had problems with larger maps. Still a good gun for players who like smaller maps.

I like skyscrapers, but it's so laggy! Actually, everything laggs now! (at least for chrome users...)

Should I get M2 twins, winter paint, or do nothing and save for M3 shaft?

Ok...so if a rail drugs and has isidia support and is with titan, then that would indeed be a challenge. But it's not everyday that I see that happening in the battles I'm in...

Rail-mammoths are rare, since its not as effective as hornet-rail, I guess. Of the ones I've fought none have given me that much trouble... they just take longer to kill.

Well....this is going to go on forever. My problem with hornet is that I find it to be just too easy to destroy. With mammoth its not impossible to outsmart your opponent. Using tactics as simple as reversing your direction ( maybe while being chased by an enemy around a corner) can get the enemy in your sights. Mammoth can fight enemies head on in close combat whereas hornet has to run for the hills if its chased by a gun like isidia. Mammoth can take the necessary damage as I charge up a shot. The shot blows away the tank and I go on, still quite alive, to a camping spot or onward to fight my next opponent. If hornet is supposed to run away, then how could you possibly run away and charge a scope shot at the same time? Using arcade shots could take too much time, and others could steal your kill. Another thing to consider, you don't have to be in a camping spot to shoot, but if some close combat is needed then I'm saying that mammoth might be the better choice for such situation, since it can take a little punishment. Mammoth also has no trouble fighting two enemies at once. But since we're talking about if we get surrounded, then where am I going with this? Well, here's the thing: if a hornet and a mammoth were put in the exact same situation, which is more likely to survive to kill at least one attacker (as in bringing someone down with you)? Putting shaft on a hornet makes it serve virtually the same role as rail gun. Tens of thousands of rail guns have died fighting me. But whatever, not a very strong point, I know. Here's what I should say: If you shoot me with your shaft, I'm obviously not going to die, being a mammoth with dirty paint on. So after you shoot me I notice that my health bar takes a dent, so I go into a search for my "assassin". If I am unable to find you, I hide. It's as simple as that. Drugging won't kill me in one shot ether if you use M2, since I have 26% shaft protection on at all times. I'm hoping to upgrade to winter paint soon, too. Even if you two don't agree with my opinions, I am still not going to trade in my mammoth for a hornet. Ever. I don't even own M0 hornet...

Shaft isn't good at CTF? Just because a shaft can't capture a flag doesn't mean its bad at CTF! Its purpose is to take out defenders and stop the enemy from capturing a flag. It serves a defensive role, a rather important one. Playing defensively, I make a very good score and afterward a pretty good profit. There has never been a battle where I am at the bottom of a team. Goes to show that some are just narrow minded..... Now, if you're in DM the issue is that everyone can surround you. When enemies surround you you die if you're in wussy little hornet. If you drive mammoth you might be able to fight your way out because you actually have a decent health. I'm not blind. I can easily spot out a shaft that moves around. Its like fighting rail gun, which is not a very difficult thing to destroy. Move around as much as ya want, as long as someone like me is able to spot you might as well kill yourself.

Its actually not as slow as you'd think. As an owner of M2 I fell like I have pretty good maneuverability. Its slow, yes, but not ridiculously slow. It has a decent turning speed. And the bright side to a slow tank is that you can control it better than a hull like hornet.

Not true at all. As long as you avoid being out in the open you won't get beaten up. Even if you do get hit you won't die unless the whole other team shoots at you at once. Getting to a spot is no trouble, really. All I have to do is make my way going behind buildings or through bushes or hiding under ramps and bridges. When I get to my spot, the other shafts with their cute little hornets try to kill me and they never succeed. Just never. They try and try but they just suffer my own shaft (which I use only with M2 mammoth) over and over again. Yes you can move around a little more with a light hull, but at what cost? You will die much more frequently if there are players like me on the lookout. They all get shredded immediately as soon as I see them. Its no mystery why my D/L and rate of killing is far better than any other shaft/light hull combination in the battle, even when those tanks are on my team. And its not just when they [ light hulls] are paired with shaft. My mammoth and shaft shreds all light weight on comers with ease, especially rail guns. So is a heavy hull worthless with shaft? Nope...........its better!

Then you must not look at garage statistics that often....

Hornet never really was best in my eyes. It is so easy to kill... which is why I wonder how hornet is the most popular.

Huh. For the first time ever ricochet wins....it's really annoying to fight but it's still pretty easy to destroy with my shaft thankfully. (shaft never wins these kind of sales) Oh well, at least twins didn't win.
