    Just got my two remaining containers from the weekly missions: 125 SB 125 DD Honestly, I don't mind all these common openings, my bigger issue is with the fact that whenever I do get an epic or legendary opening, it turns out to be a boring paint.

    Interesting strategy, I did not know it was possible to do that on the mobile version, so I apologize for misunderstanding your first point. So they get revenue from the ads instead of charging you crystals for changing the mission, that's pretty good, makes stuff a lot easier now the more I think of it.

    Okay, to begin with, getting the 3 crystal rewards from the daily missions in a single day is possible yes, but rather unlikely. Receiving them consistently for a whole week is implausible. Weekly missions also cannot always be completed in a week. Sometimes you will get the 500kills weekly mission, or the winning team one. You could also end up getting unlucky with your daily missions being too difficult, so you decide to leave some of them for the next day. Lastly, rounding up the answer could account for the crystals earned in battles, but not always, so beware of that. Any extra crystals added to the total translate into extra hours of gameplay required to earn them. If that was the case I'd probably have more than a million crystals with me at the moment, which is (sadly) not true.
  6. I still do not understand why the devs won't simply disclose the official probabilities for each reward. Anyway, the topic made by LittleWillie has gathered a large number of responses, and he's done a really good job recording the data and using it to get accurate results. But I think his last report was over a year ago (didn't see any report after that), and it's likely the container probabilities have changed a bit during that time, so yea I find no problem having another more recent topic.

    Thank you :D , I didn't really know you were going to post it, so I felt the need to make things more clear by showing that table from the wiki. Considering alterations, they're definitely not included in the GS score. Alterations merely change the style of gameplay for a turret, and do not influence the overall strength of it. (duplet, uranium, and compact tanks beg to differ though).

    Haven't posted here since a while (around 7 months). During that time I got a million mines and a similar number of speed boosts. jk The rare openings were basically all the possible outcomes at least one time, along with the Saudi arabia paint, Irbis, Hive, Graffiti, and Chainmail. There were two epic openings: Frost and the Ancient dragons paint. And got a legendary opening, it was Mosaic, a 16 month old irrelevant animated paint, but I still love it. Nice to see you guys are getting some really interesting stuff. Edit: I don't know if that was an exotic or legendary opening since I can't tell the difference in their colors.

    I agree, even though there are some exceptions, the process of balancing a turret is still rarely done in a smooth manner, and frequently upsets players. This is what I generally dislike about all these fixes. Interesting story, I believe after you get your Vulcan to M2 (and upgrade it a bit), it should be able to handle M2 hulls with ease. About the alteration, best thing to do is avoid maps like highways where there's a lot of differences in elevation, and stick to maps which have minimal elevation. It's also great for countering enemies who try to circle you when you're firing. Overall, that damage nerf it received after overheating is too much of a punishment, and it was unjustified to also apply it to normal Vulcan users.

    Developers seriously hate Vulcan. How do I know? Well, rarely has there been an update which made me think about getting it, since most of the updates consist of the addition of dumb mechanics or more nerfs. That time when its new burning alteration had just been released gave it a decent popularity boost, but sadly it turned out to be pretty overpowered and was quickly abused by the help of many healing isidas, so it required yet another nerf.
  13. In my opinion, the game would be significantly better without supplies in low rank battles, I mean (recruit --> ≈ warrant officer 1) ranks. As I mentioned in one of my old posts, supplies can turn the stats of an M0 tank into those of an M4 tank. There's a huge disparity between the buyers / alt. account players who can easily obtain loads of them, and genuine new players who don't even know what they are... For ranks like my own, I do agree that without supplies battles would be fairly boring, but there is a limit to that. Given the excessive use of supplies by everyone in MM, and the fact that you must always counter-drug, I've realized that battles can become more of a chore than a fun challenge. Since supplies are an important source of revenue for the game, they are most likely here to stay. Ideally though, their effectiveness, abundance, and influence should be adjusted for battles of different ranks, so as to make them more of an extra bonus rather than a necessity.

    Haven't seen this video in a while

    ( 16bit vs Shaft ) is the name of the video. I won't post it here cause it has some swear words, and I don't know if that would be breaking the rules or not. It was made in 2012, and I remember watching it around 2014. Very well-made and enjoyable, and it has nearly 1 million views, something you'd never see in recent tanki videos.
  15. That stat switch between Hunter and Viking remains one of the most mysterious updates released by tanki, but I assume it was to increase the popularity of Hunter. If so, then I believe they've achieved quite the opposite.
  16. Thanks for your reply. To be honest here, juggernaut in the lower ranks is vastly different from the one we see in the higher ranks. When I join any JGR battle, there would normally be around 3 strikers chasing it, maybe 2 shafts camping in a corner, and several freezes and hammers who are just a pain in the neck to deal with. In the lower ranks it's mainly freeze, since striker's crazy alterations still aren't widespread yet. I also forgot to mention that the K/D mission is in fact pretty easy to complete, if you don't die too much in parkour (like me), but finishing it is not profitable because it'll just return the same amount of crystals you've spent to participate in the event.     Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!

    I honestly thought Hunter's overdrive was too good to be buffed. :lol: Perfect for 1v1 combat, and if used right could potentially render 3/4 teammates immobile and turn the tide in an assault or rugby battle, I know that because I've seen it a lot.

    Which gun or guns do you think need a nerf?

    Some turrets, in my opinion, have to nerfed when used with Hornet's overdrive. Take the [Thunder/Hornet] combo for example, the overdrive turns a rather non-threatening tank into a dangerous opponent.
  20. Alright, maybe I should have expressed my view about the 5th mission differently. I guess deceive is too strong of a word, maybe "tricked" is better. Although I didn't mean to criticize tanki anyway. Yes this mission was meant to encourage participation, but I doubt many would attempt to go for the others (except the OD one). What I mean is that, these objectives have crossed the limits of what a reasonably demanding objective would require you to do, and in my opinion, they can be classified as being overly demanding and time consuming to the point where they in fact make players avoid them.

  22. I will attempt to give an analysis as to why I'm not joining this war: (please note this is not a rant, just simply my opinion) Earn 1000 Stars*. This mission is beyond the capability of most players, and the reward is very underwhelming. Collect 50 "Nuclear energy" supplies. I believe this will make players even more self-centered than before. You see, when you encourage players to collect a certain box as a mission, expect nothing else but seeing players in a battle fighting for that box and then using it for their own personal gain. The reward is also pretty meager compared to the effort you must put in for it. Make 7 000 kills. While this mission gives you a decent reward, the requirement to complete it is very demanding and demotivating to say the least. Destroy 40 Juggernauts. Let's be honest, when you destroy the juggernaut, that's usually due to luck and not skill. So how are you going to kill it 40 times? Unless you invest a huge amount of time into this mode, and have a lot of experience on how to avoid other players and kill the juggernaut efficiently, don't expect to get this done. The reward for this is also not worth it. Maintain a K/D ratio of 1.00 or above till the end of the event. This mission was obviously put in to make players want to join the event, by deceiving them into thinking they can earn 10 gold boxes by basically doing nothing for a month. But there's two flaws with this, the first is that, even if you do only kill 1 or 2 tanks then log off for a whole month, you'd be losing out on all the rewards you normally obtain from weekly missions. The second, which is a bit more obvious, is that you're not really making any profit out of this. Since participating means you have to buy a paint which costs the same amount of crystals the reward will give you... bummer. Use Overdrives 100 times. The only mission I found to be worth doing. Just use Hornet or Hunter and try to consistently do okay in your battles, you'll realize this can be finished in around a week or so. The reward is adequate to the amount of effort you're putting it in.

  24. Oh boy. All the times my lag put me in dire situations, by making me miss or turn in a different direction. When a striker/railgun on my team shoots me and makes me miss a target. When magnums eat away half my HP with one shot, and basically destroy the whole strategy I have in mind. Let me not forget of course, all the times I've been wrongly accused of starting fights in parkour, like when this guy who JuSt DoEsNt LiKe Me calls his friends into the match, and they start sweeping the floor with my tank, very fun. These moments prevent me from enjoying the game, that's why I like the old tanki better, but I'm not gonna rant here, I still do find some features of this tanki to be really fun.
