Since the "let's discuss microupgrades" topic is inactive, I thought I could ask this here: I'm starting to use railgun again after getting the destabilized shots alteration, but it's currently at 5/20, so I'm thinking about upgrading it further. I also have a twins at 12/20 which is pretty close to M4 status. Is it better to upgrade the rail to a high level at 10-15 steps, or should I stick to upgrading twins? Although each step for twins is now costing me a lot more and not making a large difference to it, I would still like to see each shot deal at least 200 damage as compared to the 196 average now.

The shorter battle length is great help for completing missions like "finish battles in any mode" and "take one of the top 3 places on winning team", but it is terrible for getting the overdrive, kills, experience, and crystal missions done. New massacre rocks, much less room for sniping now, but sadly you can still get stuck when driving on the hills.

The alteration itself is completely broken when used in maps like silence and noise. I used to actually enjoy battles in those maps, but not anymore, because everybody wants the easy way out by just sitting in one spot in the higher elevation base spamming mines unto the unfortunate enemy base. Either reduce the regular damage by 35-50% or make the mines disappear after 15 seconds, otherwise people are going to keep abusing this alteration's abilities, and the only thing we will be able to do is take screenshots of their K/D.

Ricochet does pretty good in most of matchmaking's maps regardless of the range, but I'd personally avoid serpuhov, highways, brest, and to some extent parma.

I rarely even get to see a freeze without drugs, definitely choosing that.

It's very annoying spawning into a battle and instantly getting killed by a drugged duplet or freeze, like a spit in the face from the game. -
That doesn't seem very helpful though lol

I respect the fact they actually added a shot color for the people who wouldn't buy the battle pass, and only on tier 4, big thank you.

If it wasn't for deathmatch being a thing I probably would have taken months to finish these.

There will be a legacy skin for every turret and hull (except the new ones), although this may be true in the longer term. Battle length is definitely going to be reduced further, but how many times are they going to do this assuming the players won't complain? I don't know, we will find out eventually. Overdrives will be delayed for several more months, and while I hope this is wrong, if it does turn out to be true again like my first prediction that would be very funny.

There have to be certain combinations that, although they may not give you the best K/D or get you to the top place on the leaderboard, can bring you much more profit than other combos on the long run, because I know there are turrets that can obtain more experience and crystals per hour than others, depending on the playing style and preferred maps. Thus in my opinion it's pretty important to consider this when you're thinking about your next purchase. Here's an example, out of my M3 turrets, excluding all of the parkour hours, firebird brought the most experience(and thus crystals) per hour, followed by twins, ricochet, and railgun respectively. Out of the hulls, viking came first, followed by mammoth, and then hornet. This may have been mentioned before, I'm not sure, but anyway I hope it's valid to anyone who was wondering about such stuff.

So far I've gotten the "finish in top 3 on winning team x15" more times than any other weekly mission, and it's getting very troublesome, this cannot continue. At least make it also apply to being top 3 on the loosing team, or expand it to being in the top 4/5 spots of the winning team.

I'm pretty sure the last update it received was one of the better ones. The range reduction was compensated by a reduced energy cost per shot, now an M0 uses up less energy per shot than a previous M4 did, according to the patch update. http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=377021 If you upgrade it further than a stock M2 it can shoot more than 20 shots, enough to defend yourself well in a deathmatch battle. Previously the M4 had a capacity for 16, now that's been increased to 29, almost doubled. Ricochet requires skill to use, unlike firebird and twins. It needs to recharge when you're out of fuel, and of course you shouldn't be in the middle of the map while waiting for it. Once you recharge enough, you launch an attack on other players. The speed and range are related to it being a mid-range weapon, so just avoid large maps and you'll do much better. The reload rate of the projectiles is not bad at all except at M0/M1 to be honest. It actually does shoot at a faster rate than twins, but has a lower damage output, so overall the DPS is lower, the projectile speed though, is faster now so you can use it to your advantage against one. This is coming from someone who's used ricochet for a long time, the last update made it more powerful and threatening, it's definitely a match for other turrets.

You're not alone, I noticed this happen to me as well, guess it's a combination of bad luck and matchmaking. A solution may be to join some deathmatch battles if you're sick of being on a loosing team, that's the only way I get the top 3 spot missions done anyway. -
I saw a jump hacker a few weeks ago in a space parkour map, nobody seemed to mind him though, and he left soon after he joined.

Nice idea, giving non-pro players a chance to try it out at least. I think you suggested giving it like a 50% extra armor or something before, and I agree that it should happen.

I'd call this more funny than stupid, when more than 10 tanks are all trying to catch a gold box in a space parkour battle, and it just looks like one massive pile of tanks stacked on each other in layers.

While I believe it's more satisfying to play with firebird since nobody can kill you without taking serious damage, it's also more frustrating because it gets its kills stolen very easily. -_- I would love having a freeze to use whenever I'm in a situation where I can't stand thunders or magnums taking my kills...... not really "my" kills but you get the idea.

So overdrives gonna be released on V-LOG 300? ;) Legacy railgun is definitely gonna be a hot topic now in XB/BP battles.

That was more than 4 years ago so I don't exactly remember, but I must have thought it was like the best thing ever in the game, and I got really mad when I couldn't catch one.
