49k is a pretty large sum of crystals for me, cause I don't buy stuff for real money in the game. Also it was only one step which was being upgraded on both these turrets, meaning it was likely done before the actual sales began unfortunately, and I'd rather have at least upgraded twins cause I rarely use those 2 turrets now.

I'm afraid they may request screenshots, and I did not take any when I had the previous amount. Actually it was not, and the only two people who actually knew my pass were family members who wouldn't do such a thing.

Imagine putting quite a bit of effort in saving up a certain amount of crystals, having a goal in mind that you want to spend them on something beneficial, but then all of a sudden you log on to see that they've mysteriously disappeared. I had 60k yesterday, when I opened the game today they were down to 11k. I checked what I could have possibly done on accident, and realized that firebird and ricochet were receiving an upgrade, but I definitely 100% did not try to upgrade them, nor was I even thinking about it. Someone must have managed to guess my pass and log on to my account I'm assuming. Anyway I've spent the remaining 10k on a paint and stopped completing the missions cause there's no motivation to complete them anymore. In addition to that overdrives have been delayed yet again so I don't have any main reason to play the game at the moment. 500th post btw.

Here's an interesting fact: In September 21st last year, we got the V-Log in which they've announced the ODs for Halloween, but since then it's been approximately 196 days (≈ 28 weeks) and they're still not here. Again I'm not complaining, but since this time they didn't even give a release date, I'm assuming there's still several more weeks to go before they're finally released.

That's sad. But at least it was on an alt. account.

For me personally I wouldn't mind that at all, I'd be more surprised than disappointed.

Pretty good update, but I got to ask, will this mean that we won't get banned in the chat anymore? Will the characters we type just simply be deducted from the 20,000 given ones?

Finished the gender war with 50 stars. The shot effect and paint were good enough for me, and I did not have the time or motivation to keep on going.

I don't know about this challenge, 800 stars is impossible for me whether my faction will win or lose, but I got to admit the paints look really good and I kinda want one. Also that war of thrones picture is just incredible, good job to the designers who came up with it.

What a bizarre type of "coolest news ever" that was... Overdrives next week is good news for me, but likely not for a large number of players. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping their release turns out fine in the end.

A major general battling against players several ranks below him who were likely using equipment very inferior to his m3+ kit, yea he's totally going to wreck them unfortunately. For goodness sake my GS is not even close to his, and I'm 7 ranks above the guy. Congo the screenshots you've posted show how horribly unbalanced matchmaking is, not the effectiveness of the combination.

I'm pretty early here, but I'm guessing it's either overdrives or another bundle thing, hopefully not the latter...

I'd doubt seeing that at first place in a DM battle, since many players can either run up to you and cause self-damage, or attack you from behind and render you hopeless, especially considering the alteration needs quite some time to reload. But in team battles it surely does great.

-- Buying the plasma torch alt. at full price. -- Spending tens of thousands of crystals on paints just for fun, when I could have saved up for a striker module instead (striker is my nemesis in this game). -- Playing so many parkour battles which have brought down my K/D to a point of no return. -- Taking the game too seriously several times. It's simply just a bunch of teens/children having fun and bragging about their stuff, why did I let some players get on my nerves before is beyond me. What I don't regret doing was getting mammoth and twins m3, making some wonderful friends (on the game and the forum), and starting to find my own ways of enjoying the game even though I dislike many updates.

Well that was 2011, which is like 8 years ago (wow), and assuming most players are younger than 20, that means perhaps the main reason they want the old tanki back is because of nostalgia. They were literally children when they first picked up the game. Unfortunately, hating on this version of tanki is commonplace now, and while I may seem like I'm contradicting myself cause of some of my posts, I never explicitly said I hate this version, just some of the updates..

I was planning to get the men's paint initially, I thought only a minority of male players would actually be willing to play for the women's faction...and I was wrong. In the end I didn't buy either of them though, cause it was obvious I was gonna finish the challenge with something like 30-40 stars.

After trying them a few days ago on test server I kinda felt like they did a good job balancing them since the last time I tested them around a month ago. But I don't know, maybe that's just my opinion in the end. I still hope just like you that they do not cause any adverse effects to gameplay, the main reasons I was excited for their release was the long wait time and the curiosity to try them.

Please release the ODs now then worry about fixing the minor visual bugs along the way. I've been waiting for more than 5 months(since Halloween) to try them out and genuinely couldn't care less about some minor details. I don't get why so many people think releasing them will instantly destroy the game balance like some kind of bomb waiting to explode. Battles have been unbalanced for as long as I remember anyway, and in fact these overdrives could actually help reduce some of the imbalance by giving all players a chance to use them. Besides in the vlog they also stated they're gonna change some turrets and "all" drones and I guess that's a pretty good thing.

I'd call that more of an annoyance to many players rather than a bad update, because at least it hasn't caused any further imbalance in battles.

Juggernaut will be in urgent need for a buff after the overdrives are here. In my opinion the health should be more than doubled, and its overdrive should be able to deal damage to close enemies. But the regular damage it deals from the railgun shots and striker missiles should be unaltered cause it's already pretty OP.

Are my eyes deceiving me? An XT that looks better than its regular version, this along with Twins XT have really impressed me.

Yes that's true, it dealt nearly as much (average) damage as the LCR alt. before the nerf, while still retaining the same reload time, and I guess that's why people thought it was OP. But like ghost-guns said above, it's still a matter of gambling. Many times I got damage outputs below 400 when I was in dire situation in a battle, and other times I dealt +2300 when the tank in front of me was of no threat at all. :lol:

Still happens to me from time to time, I'd just exit the game then re-enter it. Also maybe downloading the game unto your desktop instead of playing it on a browser can have an effect, not sure.
