I believe tanki has made several bad choices, but no game is perfect anyway. All it takes is a few good updates, some cool events like the war, and decent sales from time to time for players to eventually change their minds about it. Honestly as bad as some updates were their negative effects can't be irreversible.

So far I'm actually enjoying this.

That's exactly what's happening here, sometimes I get royally screwed, other times I'm like the juggernaut. Some of the battles I did best on where the ones with large open spaces, no drugging (pro battles), less strikers and magnums, as well as using viking.

After getting Twins, I realized that it's not as OP as I had previously thought (but of course that doesn't mean it isn't great). Comparing it to Ricochet, it does have more damage and impact but aiming is harder and the projectiles are slower. I think these two turrets are equal in strength as opposed to my previous posts where I always ranted about twins being better than rico in every way, which is false now that I tested both of them.

After a lot of thought I decided to go for twins, which is not anything like the turrets I was considering to get in one of my previous posts. :lol: It's currently at 1/20 upgrades and has no alterations. The very first battle with it got me 11 kills and 13 deaths, which is better than the K/D I got with firebird in its first battle.

Isida always kills me the fastest, but I don't see it as the most annoying turret to be killed by, for me that would be hammer. -_-

Tanki made an oopsie... But for real, fighting against M2 equipment at ranks where you barely know what's going on around you is a nightmare. I hope new players get a compensation for this someday.

I dislike those alterations because you can't protect yourself from them, and they kind of make the turrets less unique. Hopefully we'll get less of those type of alterations in the future. Now it's magnum and shaft at second place behind hammer, I'm writing all the answers on excel so I don't forget them lol

Really wonderful news, I feel pretty bad for predicting the sales were gonna be 30%. I knew that 50% was kinda asking for too much but the fact that they still went with it is surprising. Thumbs up! Also looking forward to the decorations, I haven't played tanki on christmas since more than 2 years.

The alteration's premise was nice, but the execution was very bad because factors regarding how players will abuse its power weren't taken into account.

Everyone has a sort of grudge towards certain turrets that have given them a lot of trouble in the past and possibly still do. You can let it out here and state which one feels the worst to be destroyed by. This topic isn't a rant in disguise, it could potentially give insight to the devs on which turret(s) causes the most frustration to players in the game, and they would hopefully respond by doing a little of their tweaks to certain parameters to make the situation better. * Also please try not to post more than once on the same topic to make sure votes are from different users. Or you can tell me to remove your previous vote and replace it with the new one. Matchmaking battles aren't that bad for me anymore, but the (lag+drug wars+drifting viking) combo can turn the gaming experience into complete rubbish at many times. It makes me stick to parkour battles more often, which happen to also be pretty trashy because of many trolls.

I hate the Mr. (nickname) and Mrs. (nickname) trend a lot. I see those many times in parkour battles and also in some matchmaking battles. Your names are not creative, they're just a lame excuse to get attention by making people wonder what's up with them, and everyone knows you're not married you dimwits.

"Duplet" makes the word balance shoot itself in the face. I'm seeing more hammers now than ever, which is a sign that it has clearly become OP. Even firebird doesn't contribute to bad game balance as much as this alteration does. If you nerf it I'll give you a delicious cookie.

I used to get so vexed back in the days when I wouldn't get one dropping, now they're nothing but an annoyance to me.

Yup there are some battles where modules for fire/ricochet/rail/magnum take the place of thunder. I believe I'm gonna avoid striker and magnum, so it just boils down into either thunder or hammer.

This will just make drugging worse in matchmaking, and I'm not putting up with that. But hey at least the rewards of first few tiers should be an easy catch, so thanks overall tanki.

Thunder is amazing because of its versatility, but so many people have its module which kind of discourages me to get it. Let's hope that is the case this year.

My bad. So your problem is what hull to use? Viking is ideal with isida, and it's overdrive gives a massive damage boost to it if you saw the V-Log.
