I was juggernaut in chernobyl and saw the other one on top of the building. For some reason I felt like sneaking up on him without shooting. When he turned around and saw me behind... nothing happened! We both stared at each other and decided not to attack. It stayed like that for maybe 2 minutes. Eventually other players came along and destroyed us both. But that was quite a rare and funny thing to see.

Alright that's good news. Although 7 kills is a bit too much considering the chaos challenges have caused in battles. I'll try to settle for 3-5 kills and let time do the rest.

It's the most reliable hull I have. Hunter comes 2nd, then Viking at a far 3rd. Hornet is just used for CP/box collecting missions. :D Without the driver drone would it still be possible to make use of this change?
-
It's approximately a 7.1% boost in range, which definitely won't do much. When I first heard they changed Mammoth's OD I was excited for an increase in its duration, at least by a little. But sadly no.

The problem is they raised the prices from 10TK to 30TK so you can't rely on the coins you've earned from missions. Buying is now necessary for players who want to gamble with these containers. And I personally don't even believe the whole thing's worth it...

So there seems to be two perspectives here. One, which I currently have, is that the large number of modules, drones and upgraded equipment you face at higher ranks makes it much harder to get kills and thus enjoy battles. You often end up with only 5exp. you get from assist kills. The other view which has been expressed is that there's less disparity between buyers and non-buyers and thus battles are more fair. I can agree with that, it's a really good point, but I don't think it's that simple and here's why I believe so: For starters, even if you do reach a high rank and buy several m3 stuff, you'll face many players with m4 equipment. Then you'll upgrade your equipment to m4 as well, but you'll face many players with powerful drones, so then you'll get yourself a drone and upgrade it, but you'll still find yourself in a situation where your powerful tank is being faced against many players with 50% protection modules. Aha, now we get to the point where you can't do much about this. Change the turret, but you'll still encounter 45-50% modules, and this in my opinion is what makes battles very boring the higher you rank. Low rank battles may often be unfair, but in my opinion, high rank battles just can't provide you with much entertainment anymore, especially after challenges were introduced.

Are battles less fun in higher ranks?

It seems so. What do you guys have to say? -
I'm trying to get myself used to ignoring it in any battle, because it's pointless and does nothing for me or my team. And yes I had players pick on me because of it, on the Michael282 account mainly. Perhaps because I rarely use supplies on it, which means some battles ought to turn out bad. But I've never been bothered by them, and often succeed in making them reveal their own insecurity due to their heavy reliance on that number to prove they're good. Why can't this community get along :/

Or just ignore that it exists.

Quick battles now include juggernaut in them, because it no longer resembles DM and is considered a team mode.

The recoil is very bad, I flip over easily if I'm not cautious. But it's compensated by the incredible agility of Wasp. On that account, m1 Wasp was cheaper so I got it. Hornet also feels bulkier and isn't as fun as Wasp is when paired with Magnum. Speaking about the overdrives, I believe Wasp's bomb is in fact underpowered despite all the recent buffs. Very easy to escape from and not enough radius for the real damage to kick in.
-
When equipped with the RGC alteration, it goes surprisingly well with Wasp.
-
Oh I got you. And yes I have been seeing a lot of those lately, they're a real pain to deal with.
-
I don't have that combo.
-
Does it? I'm not sure actually.
-
Sniper shot damage maybe? That's currently a big issue in both low ranks and high ranks. I think the arcade shots are fine at the moment. Also speaking about those, it seems RFM Shafts have declined in numbers recently, maybe due to the preference of players shifting to turrets like Magnum, Gauss and Railgun. I've gradually been seeing less of them since the overdrive update a few months ago.
-
If a battle ends while you're charging up a shot with Magnum, it'll continue charging to 100% despite you not being able to control anything. Minor thing yes but I just felt like pointing that out.
-
Oh wow. Sorry :/
-
Sometimes I can get great K/Ds with it, but often I just feel like that kid in school who gets picked on by everyone. Not fun really.

When the juggernaut dies, the game looks for the players who've either just been destroyed or are in the process of re-spawning. I don't know what it does to end up with a certain player, but I think it could be by random choice as well, or the player who's closest to spawning. Maybe there is a delay on my side, since my ping's been pretty annoying lately, but I can't know for sure if that's always the case. If the developers could do a little more clarification on this aspect of JGR it'd be really appreciated.
-
Considering I likely won't hit the 1.0 mark again, I shouldn't be giving any advice. :D But I can tell you how to avoid getting a bad K/D in the first place: -- Don't use light hulls in matchmaking battles, especially with turrets like Railgun. (I had a lot of trouble with this before) -- Avoid self-destructing too much in parkour battles. (space parkour is very detrimental to my K/D, because it's addicting)

Here's a cute paint I got on my smaller account: Other containers opened have given me 125 SB, 125 mines and 50 batteries. Also got 25k a few days ago on that same account.
-
But isn't it random who gets juggernaut at the start of each match? I remember joining some battles with my name showing up first on the score board but the jgr being given to someone else.
-
When you're randomly selected as the next juggernaut, then get killed, the percentage by which your hull overdrive had charged will be reset to zero. This is especially painful when using Viking. How? I mean yea it slides around too often, but you can't just say a hull sucks lol. That's a subjective topic.
