This is one of the very worst Tanki updates to date! No wonder players are leaving in droves. They seam to be intent on self destructing, They really have no clue.

I believe that TankiX will cut out lag and it should be more difficult to hack. Flash should have been stopped years ago it has always been problematic and uses a lot of resource. However I do think that it will not save tank because it is taking so much time an money to develop and it will be therefore expensive to play. They have left everything too late. TankiX should have been started much earlier and more developers employed to have 2 separate teams, one for x and one foe flash. They should have done far more to keep players especially paying players by attending to the main problems and being seen doing so. Spending time on updates such as changes to equipment is not a priority, it is short term-ism which is being forced through in a desperate attempt to increase revenue. As usual it has all been handled very badly causing even more confusion , unhappiness and resentment They need quality PR staff, well they need a lot of things

Pro battle are most definitely the way forward for those that do not want to fight with supplies/drugs! It is only the refusal to pay that is holding these games back. The vast majority of people just get on with the game with or without buying supplies/drugs but the more determined "it must be free whatever, I won,t pay anything I want a free ride people", continue to hassle, plead, beg, complain, conspire, misrepresent, exaggerate, lie, throw tantrums, use hyperbole, the list is endless. Just play the game, buy or don't buy but carrying on like a baby that has spat out its dummy is not the way forward, no one is going to pick it up for you, do it your selves!

Perhaps Tank might consider another way of taking in income. Lots of kids these days receive pocket money, teenagers often have part time jobs etc. What many of them do not have is credit cards or perhaps parents that will fund their Tanki addiction! The problems that I see might be distribution and costs and they would have to be properly made to avoid counterfeiting. They would need properly marketing but it could work.Perhaps the Tanki team might look into this and not just dismiss it out of hand! :) Tanks are us advertise heavily on TV and slip into google type ads in on line newspapers.

I think that it is very informative,I am quite impressed. A little while back you did some analysis on a few players supply use. Do you have to target specific players or do we all get analyzed? Can it be don in hind sight or only live?

I would too! I would also like to see a little longer term stability. Buying something to see it reduced in effectiveness a year latter is unsettling and does not instill confidence in the product. I realize that over a longer term, a few years perhaps things might change or even in the very short term if something is brand new and just needs adjusting, that is fine. They did not do that with Vulcan though. That still creates havoc and changing it now might upst those that own it. How do you acquire all the data? Do you have some access to servers?

Take a break, don,t flog a dead horse. then you will look forward to playing for longer periods of time. Break the addiction. It will be good for you. They give you all sorts of bonus on return premium account for a while and I am conviced a Gold Box because every time L leave be it one year or a few months I always win a gold box. i am suspicious about that mind you. Is it a plant?

:) They would not punish them when numbers were high. What is the difference. they might as well call it a day, redundancy is on the cards.

The penalty for game abuse, multing, hacking is pathetic and not even worth while. It probably makes them offend even more because no one can touch them. It will be a big turn on for them. Their needs to be really serious consequences which increase each time leading to a permanent ban.

Players that cannot stand being killed will be the ones to just close the browser . They have a sort of anxiety and instead of just playing the game when your in the middle of destroying them they just vanish from the game. They resent your score. Mind you some use this sort of vanishing trick without closing the browser. They are habitual game wreckers. You see them going in and out of the game frequently every time some tries to kill them unless they are doing well.

Isida can only slowly kill one tank at a time Both the freezer and the fire box can destroy several tanks at a wave of their turret.

Why do you find Savanna more useful than Needle? What sort of games do tend to play and are they very populated? I was looking at smokey defense in particular, I tend mainly to play DM.

I do not know why freeze has declined in use. It is still extremely effective in skilled hands Just like any other weapon it need tending too and fettling with mu and having the most up to date version for your rank M!, M2, M3, M4 etc. Most people buy them as a fad and do not use them as a main weapon and it goes rusty and t waste. A dedicated, skilled Freeze warrior is to be treated with the upmost respect. Failing to do so would be a big mistake. They can be extremely effective The most likely reason for its decline is that it need a lot of dedication, patience and practice and the vast majority of players just do not have that. Freeze also like Isida has other features and will chill a burning friend or cool an overheating Vulcan. So therefore it might be considered that Freeze also has healing properties. Isida only partially self heals when killing the enemy. Its weapon is very short range and underpowered as a killing weapon and each kill takes time which makes it vulnerable. Of course Isida will heal others on the same side. We also all have supplies that heal, the repair box.

The reason why rail gun is so successful at scoring hits is because of auto aim. Anything within a 7 deg cone will be hit. Auto aim works not only up and down but also side to side. That is why they can appear out of cover without having to take aim yet so long as they point approximately in the right direction the score a hit. Very flattering indeed! It is much the same with mainly turrets to a greater or lesser extent with the exception of Shaft. This has to be directed with utmost accuracy especially at distance and the slightest deviation and it has missed. Only on the weaker arcade mode does auto aim work. If most of these weapons had no auto aim the would hardly score any hits especially at a distance.

I was subjected to a take over this am. I unusually played a team game CP for the tasks. Fortunately I had by far the largest payout but my side lost. After completing I just went back to my normal preference, DM. The other strange thing just previous to that was I had sporadic visits and on one occasion my opponent went to sleep and I duly obliged by shooting him upping my count. Then Gold box siren sounded. All a bit strange as their was only me and this sleeping victim. :D :lol: :)

From what I understand, which is not very much, players will be able to view all opponents status, mu, protection etc. It is absolutely crazy. Its intention I am sure is to create anxiety and put emotional pressure on players to buy protection. It is also an invasion of ones privacy.

This will be the last Microsoft product that w our family will own. They are far too privacy invading. I block off all microphones and tape over all cameras you can not trust them They continually try to force you to update to another version even to the point of trickery. Click on the update to say no and it will update! I turn off automatic update and will destroy the computer if it updates on its own., perhaps apple might have its back door access they say no it but microsoft is obviously in cahoots with us security agencies and mega company snooping. google micro soft even the operating system flash all spy look at you through your camera and listen with your microphone. perhaps that might not concern many younger people but that is up to them. So apple for me next.

So what is exactly changing? Just the name or just the fact that colour is an cost option? the reason why I am persistently asking one question after another is that some here believe that peoples paints or after the update will be leveled off at 50%, 50%, 50%, that 4 paint defenses will be discontinued and colours will be a choice but a cost option.

Were you subject to a take over by a clan or something like that? Take overs are an absolute bane and can catch even experienced players out. Your team doing very well for the larger part of the game and then suddenly something happens, like a switch. You may have the odd player on your own team not pulling his weight and the other team is replaced bit by bit with clan members or they just change accounts. As you team starts to loose heavily you players start to leave and are replaced with duds from the clan. the result is the clan makes huge amount of crystals. the lead players in your own team don't want to give up they have faith and an investment in the game. What you and others can do is, not to play in games longer than 15 minutes because that attracts the clan because it will make big wining. Also try to be aware of any changes in the way the game is going. Their are usually the odd one or two players who use a lot of supplies/drugs but that evens its self out and the occasional one is not a problem but if one team is very much more reliant on them, it could be a clan. Just leave as soon as their is a pronounced change because you will not win against them. They are better armed drugged and usually play as a team with strict control and unless you and your friends are the same, you will loose every time. the best thing is change servers because sometimes they follow players around. These take overs can be very sophisticated. The clan team will go to extreme lengths to set up games for the unwary. They will place weak team members on a side and you come along thinking hey this is OK, then after time the take over takes place. Another trick they do is load one side up with a large numbers. How can they do that you say? Well they load both sides to keep sides even, then withdraw one side. Those that withdraw go on to plague other games. They can go on for hours at a time like this. It is how they pay for their expensive paints, mu etc or rather you pay for them. It is usually the top 2 or 3 players on the Clan side that make the crystal stash because often they expect allegiance from their membership. Clans can act like real virtual life gangsters. Their will now be string of denials but many who have been here a while have seen or suffered at one time or an other. :angry: :( :angry:

Thank you for troubling to explain things! It is appreciated. I care not for looks except for stealth or just to look like every other tank to confuse. I play mainly DM. So my other paints that have 3 protections that are maxed out at the moment. After the update, they will stay the same but I will be able to max out to 50% against each criteria? I have Graffiti, Rustle and Spark they will each be able as a 3 system to be upgraded to 50% against the 3 turrets each is assigned for? Which is greater than original except for graffiti which can go up to 50% on all 3 counts anyway. I really believe that Tank should not leave it up to the Moderators to take all the flack. They should prepare adequately and explain properly. They need better PR because all this doubt and uncertainty is very destabilizing for players, we do not know how t will affect us and wether to keep investing or not. It makes us very angry and many are not that happy as it is with Tanki anyway. Some players might just walk away and yet it could be from misunderstandings on top of everything else! They need to communicate more effectively.

Exactly so. It is just a money making operation in the short term, they can not see further than short term gain. What they fail to see, what they have always failed to see is the longer term. They fail to, or just do not care about trust and the complete lack of trust many players have with Tanki. They do dot understand just how corrosive an atmosphere that lack trust can be. They just ride right over the top of wide spread opinion and carry on what may. Then when they have acted on what ever decision that the have mad against opinion they cut short any further debate. Threads are closed, moderators stone wall! They never go back or admit any shortcomings. What happens then? Experienced players many of whom have spent a lot of money just drift away. Less experienced players don't tend to hang on either. Numbers have dramatically declined, the number of servers have shrunk. Just look at servers so many are empty or just hardly any playing in them.

The cumbersome way that the garage is currently presented is unfortunate and not very helpful. We should be able to delete items that we do not want or have a trash can to place them in. It would indeed be useful to better arrange items in the garage both bought and not owned. It is utterly frustrating during middle of a battle, when electing to change equipment or indeed emergency purchase an item, that one has to wade through so much trash such s holiday or football paint or paints that would only be bought by much lower range or indeed the converse. We need better control of our garage and the juxtaposition of equipment.
