A pm system for friends or any other enhanced comunications would sound the death nell for this already failing platform. People are already leaving now because of disatifaction of unbalenced games. The drugged clan, the raiding party allready a menice will spoil even more games. The single player as an entity will no longer be capable of exsisting.

Hornet is a lightweight tank and just like other hull needs MU but more so. You also need to identify what are the most common risk in the games that you play and buy the most appropriate paints and MU them. Your average is Good so why are you complaining. What do you mean, lack of maps? Their are loads of maps. Start your own games, reduce the number, find a map that you enjoy. Reading between the lines I take it that you are not a buyer, consider it. If you are board, take a break. Perhaps it is not for you.

In game chat is bad enough. Voice chat would be an abomination. The game would be far more flowing without any chat at all.

Is this threads to be a tutorial for aspiring turret twiddlers? Are we going to have video tutoring for nifty finger work? How is possible to do all these things simultaneously, drive and steer the tank, turn and fire the turret, adjust the camera height? What keys aught to be pressed with what hand to operate what? Does it help if one has the keyboard skills of a piano virtuoso? :) How not to be a noob. Learn turret skills here in easy lessons. How to drive backwards and parallel park! I do not particularly like the password update at all. It will not affect my main account but it could affect other accounts. That is not that big a deal I felt after some thought. I had just over a year off and would have lost the name from those but not this one, Buyers have 3 years grace which will allow most people enough time for University , illness or military responsibility but I think that the other time limits are ridiculously small. The junior accounts could start to loose out after a prolonged holiday and even Generalissimos less than one complete year. I can see that they want to kick start the new Tanki X with a lot of available names. I can understand that. It could also be a drive for people to sign up, give e mail addresses and start buying. I also new that once they made the announcement that many people will be very unhappy. I do not think that the whole thing has been very well handled at all, just like the neutering of Shaft. That has caused a lot of bad blood that still grumbles. Their is a distinct lack of consultation and one of dictatorial behavior. That is hardly community spirit. It will be difficult for a new hand at the tiller. Young men always have to show how good they are at making change, to stamp their mark. We here also do not know what goes on between the staff here and their hierarchy. Also perhaps in Russia their is no room for being soft, just tell it how it is perhaps. I say give the new guy some slack. He is new and need to settle in. Is this important enough to get really upset about? One could talk about ethics. Players rights ect. Does ethics equally apply to the free player as it does to the buying player and should it? Is it fair that Generalissimos have a longer term of grace that a corporal and why? One could say that it is discriminatory or that the higher ranking player has invested more, more time sweat and blood if you like. What people need to decide is, do they accept this. Well, unless their is an absolute undivided front, their is little to be gained in moaning about things for too long. Of course, it is very important that people let the management know that they are unhappy. Make clear polite statements on your thoughts. To make any change or any compromise, one needs sensible dialog, negotiated from a positions of some strength. So unless you have that and organization, just make a bold simple statement and then move on and just be prepared for something more important. The thing is, most people are selfish, self seeking and motivated for that. Very few people ever see everyone point of view. Some people, just do not care about the principles of fair play, they just want that Nick Name or what ever else that they have always wanted. They would start to care, only if somehow someone coveted their special nickname. It is just the same on any change. Those that will loose out will make a noise and those that will gain rejoice. Neither group can see the other sides point of view and are all all narrow minded and selfish as are the vast majority of humans. So unless we all start to be a little bit less selfish and be more giving we will never get anywhere and that applies to life in general also. Tanki is just a reflection of that. I like try to help with putting people at ease with what is happening, by pointing out the wiki page, which is excellent and is the best way of answering most questions, I feel. Only after consulting the whole of that page should people then start asking the what ifs and but this and that. Any way, they are some of my thoughts on the subject.

The anti cheat is real pain. Nearly every time the enemy burrows under my tank or I go over theirs, I blow up! :angry:

You could become embedded within the tread. They would have to scrape you off with a tread scraper. :P

I should imagine, that you will be notified as you log in or try to log in.

I do not know if anyone was actually complaining, they have no right to anyway. I think a trend had been noticed and some were curious as to why that might be. :)

I do not recall saying anything about buying crystals recently. What I was suggesting here was that, if people knew that they would be away very long term, then a purchase would allow them 3 years without any concern. Of course it is preferable to continue playing but if someone need to relocate abroad for University ect. ect. Its OK about slicing the post, the real thing is best. :)

The saving grace for any purchaser is the 3 year safety net. Anyone with planned long term absence would be best advised to make at leaste one purchase before going on a Long Trip, University or Military Service. It is mainly the servers. They continually try to blame everything else as always. However they are doing a big fix and that will be Tanki X on UNITY. They could fix this or at the very least improve it. Limit number of games on each sever Limit the number of players in each game The easiest way to go about regulating would be to assign logging on servers to a groups ranks. Ideally all severs wold be used to split the ranks but I doubt that they have the will to rejoin us with the Russians! We could merge with the German and Polish, most of them have good English and they are rarely full. As it stands then if the 11 EN servers each had a small number consecutive ranks assigned to them in order of rank. So that a private and corporal on EN 1 and the Generalissimo on EN 11 all other ranks spread evenly between. Their would be far less confusion. It would be far easier to find a game suitable. Players could move to adjacent servers to find friends but could not move to many servers away because ranks would not be legal to play as it is at the moment. Instead of having to search all servers for a game, one could easily find a suitable game in ones own server or near adjacent servers. A generalissimo logging on to server EN 11 could not go to EN 1. Likewise a corporal on EN 1 could not go to EN 11, each of them could move laterally a sever or more to find suitable ranked players. Attending to server distribution by rank as suggested above would also massively reduce lage because players would be far better distributed between servers. Their would be far less of a tendency to overcrowd and cause Lag!

I have always felt that Lag is give as the answer to all abnormalities. Rail goes through corners. Auto correct flatters the shooter and so on. Oh you have lag even when it going smoothly.

I will not heal anyone that shoots at me or if I feel that they are undeserving in some way. They will steal the heal box, you need it, you have just healed them. Selfish and dim.

I have had something like this also. I also believe that it is going to get a lot worse after the launch of tanki x. I do not see very much time and expense being spared into a dark failing platform when their is a bright new light. The only thing that might improve it will be its ultimate downfall. The abandoning of the ship by its players. Their is not very much apatite for flash world wide many want it gone. It should have been ditched years ago and replaced rather than patched up in a higgledy-piggledy way.

I think that these thing will be decided by automation were millionths of a second might decide who gets what.

At higher levels it is overpowered. |Many of he vets will be seen using it on their alternative account in the lower ranks, to very good effect. Years ago they may have used rail gun. So go with it if you want it. It has excellent stealth, is good at any range and if you are good with twiddling your turret, it is for you.

That was what I was thinking. It may be around for a little while but I feel that it will degrade, not be looked after and lag will be impossible. People will therefore more or less have to change to Tanki X by default.
