I was wondering about something. Here are my undecided options for the sale next week: M0 + M1 + M2 Vulcan Digital Vulcan was very fun to use and effective on the test server, so I've been wanting to get it for a while. I'd like Digital since I want a camouflage paint with good protections for summer maps. I can't afford getting both. I'm thinking of dropping Digital for now, since I'm going to be using it in conjunction with my Shaft, which is currently M1. I'm only going to be sniping often once I get M2 Shaft, something that's not going to happen for a while. I also have Tundra already, making Digital less necessary. Any thoughts?

You accept the EULA as long as you're playing the game or using the site. There's no way to reject it besides not using the site. Tanki is a Flash game. You don't download anything by playing it, so it's impossible for Tanki to spy on your computer. They can see what game information is sent to the servers (that's why we can have multiplayer), but nothing else.

I only camp on maps like Lost Temple. Otherwise, I move around a bit after every 1-2 kills.

Wasp will almost always survive a hit from a Railgun of the same modification, since Railgun's damage is random and it's extremely rare to get a 1-hit kill. I find that Wasp is a delight to drive around since it's faster and much more maneuverable than Hornet- it's easy to navigate Iran with Speed Boost if you're using Wasp. It's less easy with Hornet, since you'll bump into a lot of walls.

That might be slightly unbalanced. The difference in stats for M4 hulls is every 1 mph decrease is a 30 health increase. A 283 HP M4 Hunter would make M3 Viking less useful.

Which is why I don't play DM very much. :lol:

I'd love a M2 Smoky-Wasp kit, but it seems like the devs historically haven't implemented any kit with M2 Smoky in it. I wonder why.... OPness prolly

That's why you're supposed to take Freezes out before they get to you (even if that's a bit hard). :lol: M2 Vulcan is now firmly on my wish list, but the problem is I currently can't afford it without dropping Digital or Thunder. I think I need another 40K crystals in order to get it, and that's going to be somewhat difficult. Well, I do have the rest of this week off (more time for playing Tanki), so who knows. Maybe I can purchase M0 + M1 Vulcan and then wait until I have enough crystals to buy M2 at full price.

Hazel-Rah made a post last week that said the dev team was working on fixing it. It apparently didn't show up during open testing, so it was probably caused by some update to the game engine. A game engine update is very extensive, so they have to do a lot of trial-and-error to figure out what particular part of the update caused the problem. Fixing a bug in even a relatively simple java program can be very difficult, so I can imagine that a bug like that in Flash is even more difficult. I hope they'll get it fixed soon.

So....explain to me why Firebird-Viking is less "noobish" than Hammer-Viking. You think Hammer is noobish because you don't have to aim that much, it deals high damage, and all you need to do is get close to your target, right? Well, why isn't Firebird noobish if you don't have to aim that much, it deals high damage, and all you need to do is get close to your target? Why isn't Freeze noobish? Why isn't Isida noobish? My point is you can call any turret or combination noobish. All of them require skill to use effectively- that skill is more noticeable on some than on others.

Shado, you don't need to envy me or others who have plentiful crystals. In life, the happiest people are the ones who have enough money to get what they want and the ability to appreciate what they have. I can certainly get a lot of stuff, but I can only use a turret, a hull, and a paint at any given moment. If you have a solid turret, hull, and paint, you can specialize in what you have. You can really get to know and appreciate what you have, just like a good friend. You've used your M1 Hunter, M1 Firebird, M1 Shaft, and Tundra for a lot longer than I have, and you're probably better than me with those weapons. Overall, your happiness in playing Tanki doesn't depend much on having a huge garage or fancy items- if you're good at using what you have and you enjoy playing with your equipment, who cares if somebody else has a full M2 garage? You've got good items and you'll likely know how to use them better than anyone else.

I plan on getting M2 Hunter on the sale next week, and I want to put a few micro-upgrades on it when the sale comes. What parameters would you recommend upgrading? I also plan on getting Digital paint. While I do already have 2 solid Railgun protection paints (Tundra, Sandstone), I think a camouflage paint with good stats would be very useful when I get M2 Shaft. Is purchasing this a good idea?
