If you're just looking for Railgun protection, Tundra is the way to go. Digital is technically superior, but the Smoky and Shaft protections are around 10% by default, not too useful. The difference in base Railgun protection is only 5% as well, so if you are tight on crystals, Tundra is a better choice. It also has better camouflage on winter maps.

I'll consider getting Roger if a 50% paint sale pops up in the future. Sandstone is going to be for Christmas though. No exceptions.

The new crystal update turned out to be a lot more damaging to gameplay than I expected. People are now camping for crystal boxes, and they treat 100 crystal boxes like Gold Boxes. In a recent Rio CTF I was in, nearly a third of my team was neglecting the flag because they were so preoccupied with getting crystal boxes. We won in the end, but I had to expend a lot of supplies and effort to make up for my negligent teammates. Predictable Drops itself is fine, but I think the crystal box update backfired spectacularly. I think it should be taken off of the servers for some tweaking first; the concept is fine, but it turns many players into multing campers.

Speaking of the Christmas sale, I've been wondering if there are any paints unlocked by 1st Lieutenant worth purchasing besides Sandstone. I already have Isida protection, so Electra is off the table. Do you guys recommend anything? The new kits are bugged. If you have 1 item from the kit, the whole thing disappears. You already have M2 Dictator, so it's unavailable for you.

There's a new M2 Dictator/M2 Ricochet kit in the garage called Boar, but I'm not getting it, since I likely won't rank before it leaves the garage. Besides, I can get a good paint at Christmas along with M2 Dict/M2 Rico for almost the same price as the kit.

Once you get entrenched in Stadium with Shaft, you become a mass murderer. You can pin down everybody in the map.

It kind of does. My main issue with M0 Hunter was the somewhat slow speed (it should honestly should be closer to 7.5 mph for balance) and poor handling (seriously, try driving in a circle on a ledge). The health and weight was good, though, so I still used it until my M1 Dictator was purchased. (slower, but the extra 87.5 points of health MORE than make up for it).

My feedback: Pros: Easy to tell where each box will drop, allowing tactics to be used easier. Gold box notification marker is useful. The new crystal boxes are nice. Not a fan of the 1 crystal boxes, but the ones 20 and up are great. Cons: There's too much of a wait period between the gold box notification and when the gold box falls. Heavy tanks have too much of an advantage here; I'd suggest shortening it. Make it less obvious too. The drop zone markers are useful in combat, but they might be too visible. In some cases, they look like graffiti. They can detract from the look of the map.

Absolutely. It can destroy anything in its path; even Clay paint isn't a huge problem as long as long as it's not on a medium or heavy hull.

M2 Hunter is really good from what I've seen. Maybe not quite as OP as M2 Viking, but a few MUs will fix that. Same goes for M2 Dictator. Anyway, what do you guys think of Hunter-Railgun?

My M1 Shaft is going to get a few more MUs once the sale comes along. M2 Hornets are going to be DEAD. And very dead. Only a decent Shaft paint will save them now. Anything else I should MU? My M1 Railgun's damage could use a few MUs, I suppose.

From the hints you've been giving out, here's the two on the list that you'll be implementing. Let's see how accurate I am. ;) tesla coil/shotgun- you mentioned that there would be a weapon like that. A boomstick. Something powerful, like a close-range Shaft. More importantly, you listed this on a thread suggesting a weapon called Tesla, so a tesla coil seems likely. rotary cannon- you mentioned "MORE DAKKA", which is slang for lots and lots of bullets. A rotary cannon (which is basically a gatling gun) would fit the bill..

The new Railgun effect looks great. I think it makes Railgun look more powerful. The new Isida effect is cool, but I think I like the old one better. The new one kind of looks like a noodle.

I had an issue with the Medium and Heavy M2 tank kits. They both gave paints that were unlocked at very high ranks (Marshall for Prodigi), and that kind of broke the balance of the game. There is a good reason why Prodigi is normally supposed to be unlocked at Marshall and Emerald is supposed to be unlocked at Brigadier (I think).

A 25% discount is better than a 0% discount. I'm not a big fan of these new kits, though; I think they should be made more substantial by adding a few paints and maybe a slightly higher discount. Anyway, I'm saving up for M2 Dictator, M2 Ricochet, and Sandstone paint when I rank to 1st Lieutenant. M2 Dictator is a solid, early-unlocked medium hull with great MU potential, M2 Ricochet is an early-unlocked powerhouse of a weapon, and Sandstone is a great multi-purpose paint with good MU potential (with enough MUs, it'll be almost as good as vanilla Picasso paint). With these three, I will have no problem engaging M2s and possibly M3s in combat.
