Several tankers that I've met love the new update, and so do I.

I love the new "No crystal boxes" update. It forces players to fight for their reward, instead of just camping for it, and I like how you guys came up with a new system to make payouts faster, and more rewarding. Points per hit in CTF and CP battles (getting points for doing damage to a tank, even if someone else kills it) is something that I've been wanting to suggest for a long time, I'm glad that you guys decided to implement it as part of the new update. Leave crystal boxes out of the game, we don't need them. We need to fight for our reward, not just wait to collect it. General_Abrams

This update is, for me, much better than having crystal boxes. Instead of distracting players, this inspires them to fight for their team, because they know that their only reward lies in the battle fund. Battle funds are bigger too, which of course means a bigger payout to the hard-working players (it was way to small before this test). I give this test a 100% thumbs up, and believe that it should be integrated into the game, permanently. Thank you, General_Abrams

I don't know... This new trial of "No crystal boxes" is going to force people to actually play hard for their reward, instead of camping out for it. It might be a good thing for us "good" players who work for the victory, and maybe it'll whip these lazy slackers into fighting for their team as well.

Wish everyone would listen to that

I completely agree. The new system has done the opposite of what it should've done. The predictable drops for the SUPPLIES are good, but predictable drops for the crystals, combined with the larger amount of crystals per box, has done exactly what I was afraid they would do. Now we have mini gold box wars over 50 and 100 crystals. People desert their teammates, leave their position, and waste their drugs to catch it. Half of your team doesn't even fight because they're camping near a drop point waiting for the crystals to fall. On top of that, although buyers and good players might be making more crystals off the new system, noobs with M0 or M1 wasps and hornets don't stand a chance at catching the big boxes, or the small ones either for that matter. We used to have 10 crystal boxes worth 10 crystals each fall all over the map, so everyone could get their fair share, now we have one 100 crystal box fall in the middle. The guy that catches is 100 crystals richer, but what about everyone else? And the guy who caught it, probably didn't deserve it, as he was just camping nearby waiting for it to fall, and the guys who are workin' for the team, get shammed because they're too busy capturing flags. And by the way, the 1 crystal boxes? LMAO!

Other [Issue 4] Ten Reasons why Every Tankmen Should be in a Clan

False, you cannot buy crystals for someone else in tanki, unless you mailed them your credit card (which I WOULDN'T recommend doing) Too bad... :( -
Thumbs up to smart cooldowns. This update is really going to change the game, for good. Everyone will be relying mostly on skill, the true determiner of what level you're at, instead of using "Drugs," as the community has slanged them, to create a false high level of gameplay. The only people who can afford to burn supplies in mass quantity are "buyers," people who spend real money to buy crystals. There aren't as many "buyers" as there are "non-buyers." The entire point of all online games is to entice some of those "non-buyers" into becoming "buyers." They do this by giving "buyers" a slight advantage. The bad news is, MOST people can't and never will buy. Mass drugging, therefore, is so much of an advantage, that it discourages most of these "can't-buyers" or "might-be-buyers" from playing the game, since they can't compete with "druggers," and can't yet spend money to keep up with them, they quit. Would you rather have a few guys spending hundreds? Or have hundreds of people paying 20 bucks each? Now I know some of those millionaire generalissimo druggers are going to gripe about this, but they need to be convinced, IT'S FOR THE GOOD OF THE GAME, and the game doesn't revolve around you, it revolves around whatever the majority of players want. Smart cooldowns are going to take supplies from where they are, an unfair advantage, back to where they should be, a temporary bonus, to be used sparingly, carefully, and tactically. Thank you Tanki online.
