Not true, I received only supplies for my first 3 missions. -_-
-
Very impressed. This update was a great idea. The rewards are very generous (i.e. x60 Double Damages for 900 XP) and the missions aren't impossible to complete. This gives me, and other players, a reason to play the game, besides just crystals. :D Great job Tanki Online Developers.

Yes, it'll be the same as an M3 Railgun's specs, so they can't make it available at lower ranks.
-
They clearly stated that the XT Railgun/Hornet would be identical to the standard Railgun/Hornet, with the only difference being the designs on the side and the color of the beam. Listen next time ;).

Glad that the V-log has made it this far, hopefully it will continue on for many more episodes. Many thanks to Semyon Kirov and the V-log crew for keeping it up. :) I'm surprised that there were no in-game decorations/items to celebrate this event. :( I remember when the V-log turned 10, we had 5,000 crystal Gold Boxes at Red Alert. Haven't heard much about that "Spectator for everyone" rumor, but I am still seeing a lot of rumors about the Flash to Unity transfer. You guys really have to keep us in fearful suspense this long? XT for the win!!! And it's Generalissimos only B)

I must say that I agree with this statement the most. I hope that there is a lot of variety in the missions, otherwise things could get bad real fast. For example, if 1/10 of all tankers get the "collect 7 Nitros" mission, there will be extreme multing for Nitro boxes. The same could be said of other missions. If 1/5 of all tankers receive the "Get 50 kills" mission, everyone will be camping. Etc. I really don't know what they'll do if supplies become a distraction as well, maybe remove the mission(s) that involve them? :)

I believe they've for the most party halted developing of the current version of the game, and are instead concentrating all efforts on creating the Unity Version of the game. Hopefully this version will be much better, in which case I have no issue with them doing this, unless they decide to not let current players transfer their garages to the Unity version, in that case I would be mad. If you want a challenge, maybe try some eSports? :D

Yes I do, particularly on my polo shirts (to straighten the collars) and on my khakis (to bring back the creases). Not sure why there isn't a "Yes" option on the pole. -_-

I quite agree, and about such a serious topic. You're speaking about outraging thousands of people, as the hard earned money that they spent becomes a hindrance to them, as it'll keep them from transferring happily to the Unity version. That's if the decision is made to reset all garages. Major issue is: I'm assuming that if the developers were confident that the decision was swayed toward NOT resetting garages, they would say so, in order to stop the growing lack of confidence in the game. But they have said nothing, which leads me to believe that the decision is rather swayed the other direction. Tank Online, I don't care how often you say "we won't forget our players," the fact that you even considered this decision is enough to make me and many more loyal financial supporters cease spending our hard earned money on this game.

LOL, yeah. Judging by some footage that I've seen in the V-logs, Semyon and Mariya Trusevich work pretty closely together. :D ;) :D

+++ It was funny to watch him change. In the first 5 v-logs, he was almost like a computer. Kind of stiff-faced, merely translating what the Russians told him to say. After number 10, he really starts to loosen up. Now he uses more of his own words, making the whole v-log feel a lot friendly and looser, and completes the show with hand gestures and facial expressions. ;)
-
Of course they did, because in the back of their minds they're still considering not transferring garages. However if they said that, player funding of the current game would completely halt, and in the process, so would their paychecks. ;)

I'm glad that the V-log has finally returned. The road-trip part was very interesting, it's unfortunate that nothing like this will be happening in my home country any time soon. :( Guess I'll have to get a plane ticket to Russia. The rebalance of turrets and hulls has seemed impressive so far. Freeze was nearly extinct after the previous rebalance, as its freezing effect was nearly useless. I personally didn't think that Isida needed a buff, but whatever. ;) As to the rumors, yes, a lot have been going around. And even though you closed the topic in the forum about the Flash to Unity transfer, rumors are still flying around the chats and even in Skype groups and TeamSpeak servers. The sooner you get this topic cleared up, the better, and I do hope you decide in our favor. I have completely halted spending any money on this game, and won't be spending any more until this issue is cleared up. Many of my friends are doing the same. It's only the rational thing to do. Who would spend money on something that would be replaced/overshadowed in the next year? I'm hoping that there is something special in-game planned for the 50th v-log next Friday (Gold boxes?). :D (Oh, and what about the Daily Missions? Where have they gone?)

Great topic. Where have I been that I haven't seen this before? -_-

Brilliant!

Luckily for me I'll never be in his situation, and if you're smart you won't be either. If every person in the world voted yes, they wouldn't unblock it. It's stated clearly in the Agreement. The game and it's developers reserve the sole right to .... without the consent of the players. EDIT: It's the first statement in the "Company's rights and obligations" section of the EULA:
-
All the votes in the game won't save his account :P You're obviously not familiar with Tanki and their rule-keeping. ;)
-
Wow. It's such a shame that you had to violate the rules of the game (using 3rd party software to modify the game is strictly against them) and get yourself blocked. Unfortunate that not your clan, your garage, nor the up-votes of players can change the past. Your block was fair. I'm 99% confident that it won't be overturned. Sorry, sometimes you have to learn the hard way! :( (And also, it won't be long before a Moderator closes this topic, so you won't have long to wait).

What he says is true about "not enough players meeting the requirements." Do you know how many players roam around this game with NO BANS OR OFFENSES (swear words) for the last year?!? The simple answer is: almost none. Out of that "almost none" group, you now need to select players that meet further requirements, such as timezone/availability, fluency of the language (or several), right attitude/disposition, Skype and a good headset/mic, etc. In short, the amount that meet all of that is: almost less than none. Not to mention, the still-qualified players need to apply first, the administration doesn't go looking for them. Even so though, the "Game_Violators" group is in charge of the voting system, primarily. Chat Mods only do it when necessary. Mhm, right. It takes at least 5 minutes of hi-quality video evidence for the Mods to convict a mult/saboteur (5 minutes of hi-quality video can be upwards of 5 gigabytes in size, depending on the recorder). Plus, do you know a mult who would sit there while a player records 5 minutes of video? Nope, I didn't think so. They always start playing when they see player(s) circling them with the recorder on. Besides, a player who takes 5 minutes of his time to record a video of a saboteur is doing more sabotaging than the mult himself, unless the battle is extremely long. Even with that 5 minutes of video, they Mods still can rarely ban. It simply isn't worth the time. ;)

It mostly depends on how suited the combo that you choose is for the map, and what kind of maps you play. Small-mid range maps, like Noise, Polygon, and Silence, usually have bigger battle funds, play them whenever you can if you want to earn big crystals. Choose a weapon that is well suited for the map and that the enemy team doesn't have a lot of protection against. For example, if you go to Polygon, the best performing guns are usually Thunder, Hammer, Isida, Firebird, Smoky, and Ricochet. Don't choose Thunder if 5 players on the other team are using Emerald, or don't try Firebird if several players on the enemy team are using Inferno. Choose wisely, and you may have to change a couple times if the enemies grab paints with more protection against your gun. ;) Also though, if you're not a buyer as you say, don't get too many different guns on the same account. It's easy to save up for 5 M1's, but when you have to save up for 5 M3's, that's totally different. Don't get too many guns that you'll never want to get M3, doing so would be a waste of crystals. I made the mistake of buying several M2 guns that I didn't like. I have probably around 300,000 wasted crystals sunk into M2's that I never liked and never should have bought. Play short on your weaknesses, and play long on your opponent's weaknesses. :)

A walkthrough on how to apply for Chat Moderator.
general_abrams replied to Dragon-Judgement in Archive
Yes yes, very good tutorial for players who have no clue how the forum works. However I'd like to see a little more in-depth hints/tips as well: What kinds of things should you put on your application? What things to the Administrators want to hear? And what do they not want hear? What kind of people does the administration want, and do you meet that standard? Above all, you should really mention the Karma requirements, as I'm guessing this is where 90%-95% of players fail. It would save the Administrators a lot of work if they'd just put this in Bold above the application rules: ATTENTION: If your karma (that's your ban/chat history) is not clean for at least a year, you will NOT be accepted! -
There WILL be ranks in the Unity version, at least according to the most recent preview of it that the Developers have provided, seen in Episode 44 of the v-log. The rank is there, but in a different area than we are used to. Notice the rank of 3 Gold Stars (Lieutenant General) in the upper right: It also appears again from another angle: Judging by the layout of this screen, it looks like the developers are going more for a "team-based" screen layout. Instead of the current screen which revolves mostly around the player, displaying his/her rank, crystals, etc., the new screen appears to revolve more around the team situation, showing the number of flags in the battle, how much longer it has left, how much you are ahead by, etc. Which is actually a good move in my opinion. :) Also: This is a false statement/mentality. 90% of people who invest money in the game are very skilled. It's a simple thing: Buyer mentality: I like this game I'm good at this game I'm going to be playing it for quite a while I can justify spending a few bucks on it. For that reason, most, and I mean a vast most, of the "buyers" are very skilled. Not because they bought skill, but because they were able to justify buying by being skilled. That's not to say that there aren't some out there who do try to buy skill, because there are, ;), but that small percentage is quickly going to realize that they wasted their money, and stop. I spent money on this game because I loved playing it, and I knew I was going to be playing it for a long time. I didn't spend money on this game because I thought I needed too. I spent money because I loved the game, and now I'm going to be given nothing for it when the new version comes out. But those of you who just played the game and never contributed monetarily will be just fine, if this decision is made. It's kind of like doing a large favor for someone, and having them turn and spit in your face when they get the chance.

Might I ask you where you obtained this information? Do you have any influence to change it? I know, of course you don't care. Why? Because you're a staff member who gets paid booku amounts of crystals. (Even if you "work for them," it's still a lot different than spending $41.97 of money that you made at work in real life.) So even if Unity resets the garages, it'll only take you a few months to have everything back at M4 again. What exactly is CBT? Do you have any influence over this decision? If so, are you on your players' side or the other side? At least give us a 1 month time period, or similar, where it is possible for all active players to transfer everything, and after that it's impossible. +++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++ I will be spending NO more of my hard-earned money on this game until this decision is made, And I will not be spending anything on this game again, unless the decision is made to transfer everything Or damn close. If we want to start your game from scratch, Tanki, we'll do so ourselves, on an alternate account. We should at least receive credit for one (1) account and everything we've bought on it in the Unity version.
