Big surprise? Tanki gives and takes away. It's the same BS when you buy a turret and it gets nerfed.

Changes in maximum range for Freeze, Firebird and Isida
creeperskelly replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
One thing I notice about Freeze now: the "freezing" effect has little to no impact on me (Jaguar) but the damage effect seems stronger than it was before. It used to be that a Freeze would stop me in my tracks but not kill me. Now it can't stop me but there's a better chance of a Freeze discharge being fatal. -
What do you suppose is the percentage of tankers who are female?

Your own team mate has captured your team's flag

??? How is this even possible? (Notice the top right). -
I was thinking that if I had bought the 100% pass since the beginning I'd would be a gismo now :( It takes me about a month to rank right now - with having to have more XP to rank from this point forward the cost would offset not having to grind through so many tanks just to get XP.

Buying a 15,000 crystal score multiplier pass to get a 67,000 reward is a good deal. :D

I like when all three missions can be completed in one map/round. :D

A Wasp with Isida moving backwards makes me think of a mobile can opener.
-
For an interesting comparison: if you consider the value of the missions available at my son's rank (WO1) compared to mine (LTG) at my rank I get 3x the number of supplies and 3x the number of crystals for completing missions than with the lower rank (130 supplies and 2800 crystals versus 44 supplies and 800 crystals).
-
I think the most ridiculous combo going backwards is Shaft on Wasp.

I don't care much for CP either, but, it's easy to complete these missions by finding a large map with only one or two players on the opposing team. As long as there's 5 or 6 CP and only two players it becomes a breeze to complete. :D Even if you help capture a CP it still counts for the mission (meaning you don't have to cap it by yourself). I think DM is the most tedious of all and rarely play that.

Changes in maximum range for Freeze, Firebird and Isida

Freeze needs its effects buffed. On nearly every map I see now Freeze is mostly useless at high ranks. I played with my son's account last night and Freeze at the level of W01 seemed much more effective. -
The thought behind it was to get people to try different turrets if they already had them in their garage and to increase variety on the battlefield.
-
Also this is a bit misleading: "If for some reason you don’t like a mission, or find it too hard to complete, you can exchange it for a task of a different type. You can do this once a day for free, and any number of times after that for a specific amount of crystals. The cost in crystals will depend on your rank." If you have three new missions and change one then you cannot change the other two for free - you don't get to change all three for free one time each, but, rather you get one free change out of three. After the single change the other two buttons reflect the new amount in crystals to change. I was under the impression that each box allowed one free change (three total changes) versus a single change applying to all three.

I saw my first mission glitch today. One mission yesterday was "Get 500 XP in DM" - reward was 1,700 crystals. Now when logging in the same mission was there again - completed - with the same reward. Essentially I got a duplicate of a mission from yesterday and this time it had "Claim Reward" at the bottom. So, it seems like I got a freebie.
-
 :D ;) 208 kills per hour. That would take 2 days of nonstop DM to get XT (too bad it's not available at my son's rank).
-
This is the only one I have ever played.

Unfortunately there has to be some flaw in the system because situations such as this should be impossible in theory: There are not enough supply points around red base for this to happen. Either there is a flaw, people are using hacks, or something else going on.
-
I did not see this in this thread: It would be interesting if daily missions required you to use a certain turret to complete the missions. "Using Isida earn XXX XP in [map or game type]" Also it would be more interesting if the mission were a pick up type mission then the reward would actually be related to those supplies you picked up (for example when I see a "pick up 7 repair kits" the reward is usually something else like speed boost - instead the reward should be repair kits).

Evening for me is when the servers restart (about 9:00pm local time in Florida). I am finding now that the most miserable time to play is right after missions start. The issue with druggers seems much better if I play very late at night or the next morning.

Changes in maximum range for Freeze, Firebird and Isida
creeperskelly replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away Isida could do this: Now it's like this: It used to be very effective in healing or attacking tanks that would park themselves in that spot. In Rio it has made quite a difference in battle conditions since anyone who is up on that ridge anywhere on the left side of red base all the way to blue base is now safe from being attacked or healed. It also has a really negative effect in Noise. -
In terms of US dollars it cost about $700 or so to get a fully upgraded M3 hull/turret combination (assuming a person buys crystals and uses a 2x multiplier). I wonder if it's the same equivalent cost for a Russian?

Changes in maximum range for Freeze, Firebird and Isida

Also as much as I hated Freeze long ago it really has so little purpose now. It used to be "Climate Control " could defend a flag well - one Freeze and one Firebird in conjunction. -
Changes in maximum range for Freeze, Firebird and Isida
creeperskelly replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
Well here's my thought on that: Rico, Twins, Rail, and even Shaft to some degree can damage someone up or below on a ramp due to auto-aim - but Isida cannot any longer. For me that's really frustrating and has led to me not using it as much as I used to. They should all be consistent in this regard. They need to bring back the vertical attack/healing of Isida. I'm at the point now where I have the rank and funds to upgrade mine to M3 but I am still on the fence about it due to this issue. -
I pointed that out in an earlier post - you only need to be the top on your team - regardless of outcome. Seems like you could just make a battle with 1v1 to accomplish that goal. :P
