There is a problem in Serpuhov: This hill seems to have a glitch. When I am driving on the top I suddenly seem to hit something invisible which causes me to flip up in the air then land upside down while going towards the direction of blue base:

Unless you have an Armsel Striker or Saiga 12 there isn't a shotgun in this world that is close to being able to use unlimited ammunition. A shotgun blast is most effective at close range so it would make no sense for Hammer to damage tanks that aren't directly in front of it. Hammer still takes me out in two shots without the use of drugs.

When I started playing last year Freeze was the most effective flag defender. Also a good Freeze player could chase down a flag carrier and slow them down so the team could catch up. Now I rarely see anyone using it.

No kidding, right? Grab a gold box and get 7,900 crystals (I would imagine this mission won't exist during special dates :D :P ).

About 2 or 3 rebalances ago I was fairly aggressive with Isida + Hornet and almost always was in the top 3 slots in a team. In fact it was my main combo until they started screwing around with it (I practically ranked all the way to Colonel using only Isida). I rarely ever used drugs except when I had stolen the flag and had to defend it. That's when I figured out how effective it was using DD and DA while defending the flag. Sometimes because of this advantage I would usually be the one to retrieve the flag for our team. Then I switched to Firebird; they screwed that up by nerfing the effective range. Then I switched to Thunder; now that is hosed. Now it's back to Isida. With the recent change I am again in the top without drugging. While the range and power are improved it still sucks that the cone angle was reduced.

Isida + DD + DA is a really damned aggressive turret with the right hull. M3 Isida, M3 Viking + DD + DA is extremely aggressive because it can act like a self-healing vampire sucking the life out of opponents while healing itself.

So, lets see: Mission : cap 3 flags, get 1,000 crystals. So I join a round, cap 3 flags, then quit. Mission: pick up 7 armor boxes, get something in return. So again, join a round, camp out near drops, take 7 drops, quit. Not really sure how this is harder or more work overall, yet, it has great potential to completely destroy team matches as people join just to complete missions. This seems to be a major disaster in the making.

If not then what is the point of doing the missions?

That's pretty much how it works. They claim to use feedback to adjust balance. That's a lie. They look at how many hulls or turrets are being bought and when something becomes too popular they nerf it while buffing things that aren't selling well. Then when the pendulum swings too far in another direction they do it again. It's sort of like drug dealers adjusting how much of their drugs they put into what the sell to keep everyone addicted to every product.

If one mission is to pick up 7 armor drops then why would I do anything else in the round other than camp out at drops? Don't you see how this is a disaster for team play?

I agree. These are far too easy to exploit.

Once again the stupidity of the test server - too much money so everyone does nothing but drug. Impossible to focus on actually trying to complete missions this way. You should limit accounts to enough crystals to choose one tank and hull.

I wonder if the amount of 1150 crystals to change a mission will be the same in the final version.

Next thing you know Isida will have an electric cloud instead of a single ray so it can heal/damage several tanks at a time. :D

That's an interesting point. I can't remember the last time I saw Freeze M3.

I have noticed that with each "update" there are fewer people using Freeze. When I started playing last year there were lots of people using Freeze. Now I might go 6-8 rounds without ever seeing one. The prior update a month or so ago really ruined Firebird - it seems like they undid that change.

Probably one of the easiest druggers to kill if you have a good hull and just park in front of the offender.

Actually a Porterhouse is simply a very large T-bone. If they are cut and sold properly you only get 4 per cow. Most restaurants or grocery stores that sell a Porterhouse are just selling T-bones that are slightly larger than the rest of the rack. The definition of a T-bone is a strip loin coupled with the tenderloin. A filet mignon is simply the whole tenderloin that has been removed and then sliced. Likewise a New York strip is simply a cut from the entire strip loin that has been removed. People who know their beef can save money and just buy a good quality T-bone then debone it and then grill both pieces separately (this way you get one NYS and one FM from one cut of beef).

I really dislike the aspect of this business model where something you have already purchased is later nerfed or weakened in some way - making your purchase worth less than what you bargained for when you decided to buy it. It's akin to a restaurant selling you a T-Bone steak, then, removing the tenderloin once it arrives on your table and refusing to give you a refund. Or akin to a car manufacturer selling you a sports car only later to show up in your garage, remove the engine, and throw a used leaky 1.3L diesel under the hood. Or it is like a home builder selling you a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house then coming along and bulldozing half of it after you moved in. I just don't know why they can't leave well enough alone.

I guess that is what it was. Other players were saying it was due to a hacker. I have never seen it happen before. Usually the problem I see is a battle timer going 9-8-7 then right to 0. I guess if Tanki hands out the crystals in such a situation it would make sense to stay if on the winning team.

Asian internet connections are poor. My ping is 3x or higher here than it was in the USA. I never suffered from lag there, but, it is a constant problem here (ping of 170-300 is common; when I was in the USA it was 30-50).
