Per yours, and Rohits posts, I'll try it , I have both at M1, smoky is even upgraded a few ranks :) . My M1 Titan is my tank of preference so no issues there. I use Vulcan and Rico. And yes I don't play , any small maps at all. I slug it out, it just didn't seem smoky could throw the FP I wanted , and you can't pop-in and pop-out with Titan quick enough. I would think Titan/Rico would be wreckin' on small maps too, but I don't go there. I think it "unfair" :lol: - Tried camp a few time was doing 4-8/1 DL's. I'll give smoky/tit a shot on close-in Maps.

Does Smoky even work with Titan? It seems too slow down even at my rank.

Don't do more than first few MU's for any equipment until you get M3. 1-5 levels usually, refer to wiki MU schedule. As to maps and battles, I suggest long battles for more crystals 1 hour battles is good. Small maps many tanks. Polygon Cp is good. TDM on many maps. As Isida, to be honest M1 Isida gets pretty weak compared to other weapons through the W/O ranks, so be ready to do a-lot of battles. However M2 does come along really quick at 3rd Lt. and it is a good weapon. Save for it too. You may want to switch to hunter for more armor, but if you prefer using Isida at speed you might stick with Hornet. Definitely get M1 hornet or wait for M1 Hunter and get it, M0 Hornet is too weak at W/O ranks.

Yea, M1 stuff is cheap during sales. The cheapest way to buy paints is through Kits during sales. 2 weapons is good , I prefer 5 ATM. 2 Hulls

Rico/Titan is wicked for Monte Carlo. Take the lower ramp, and get behind them , and Kick butt. ;) Also hide behind the other side's ramp, and kill their first row spawners, middle road , and jumpers. Can basically do the same with Vulcan/Titan, but the D/L ratio seems a little lower, in many game sets. P.S, -use Dirty or any good long range paint, Storm is option for Vulcan combo.

Yea. To me, everyone running around with a Hornet/rail, just seems REALLY boring, as it so "One or Two shot"- "Pop-out-pop-in". It is a shame tournaments are so XP based, I turned down two "star-ladder" team invites, simply because I don't play XP, even though I have one "sitting in the shed".

Play 15-30 minute battles. If you try to play 60 minute battles, surely there will be a break in your service and you will get screwed out of your crystals. They say they have fixed this so you can re-log in and get your current standing in that battle back. However I just try tried my forth hour battle , and like all the rest , there was a break in service, So I lost a personal 31:10 kill ratio, and helping a team from being -20 to +40 in TDM. Needless to say after I logged back in , I had a 0/0 D/L. I

The game is alright, and is interesting to me now. However , I don't see playing this game past Colonel. I have spent a little money ($24-34?) in 5 months. I got a fair M1 garage, and I occasionally use bought drugs (5-10 maybe in a 15min game.). But I see the sheer amount of crystals needed for M3 weapons and the time for M3 ranks, as being too much. And to have a good garage you have to buy crystals and those M3 weapons/hulls/paints look like they might cost $25-$100 EACH. :blink: For that kinda money, there are far bigger and more advanced net games, to eat my time.

Ricochet is my weapon of choice. I play mostly more open bigger maps, but this is not always where richochet really "wins". There is not nearly enough in this guide about Richo's bounce shots, and it's best elevation-depression limits. Richo's ability to bounce shots off several corners and also multi-dimensionally, can be used to TOTALLY rule some maps, or various approaches, and spawning areas, from certain "camp' spots in most of them. A "better" guide would have these "camp" spots for bounce shots. Some are just plain wicked, like 5:1 to 10:1 D/L ratios everytime. I have only been playing for 5 months, I know of killer spot(s) on about half the maps. And I know there many other spots on even the maps I play that I don't know about. I have no ability to cut-and paste maps and "draw" on them and post them. I could try. Over time we could build a DB of camp spots for Rico on various maps, much like what has been done for shaft.

So far I have only seen 4 people given their music selection, who deserve to live on my battlefields. The rest <_< AC/DC :ph34r: Unless I am using ricochet because you have to hear your corner shots.

Buy the XL starter Kit , if/when you see it.

What are you talking about? There is no auto-aim for Rico. Your opponents are just getting better at tracking and leading.(And/or you're getting predictable at driving)

Bring back the "number of players on each server", in the server select menu. Speed up the loading/connect speed of the servers.

I didn't call anyone a noob as far as that battle goes. But the fact of the matter , If you see a player such as that on the other side , who keeps continually blasting you and everybody else , that is a threat that needs to be dealt with first. I am sure you know that, I only state this for others. However, Now that you bring it up , I will call all of those players opposing that Vulcan, "NOOBS", as they did not the address the most threatening opponent in the match. I run into this often. You start blasting with a Vulcan, normally the other side will adjust and start fighting you as best they can, sometimes it works , sometimes it doesn't. But stilll they react, In this example of a match , there is none of that. Really good job by the Vulcan player, he did well, and it was not only because of the weapon he was using, but he how played it well and the other side did not. Regards, Strachwitz

I'll way in on the "fast tank" versus "heavy tank" issue, and the issue of making all tanks faster instead. The faster tanks go , the more difficult it is to keep a good frame rate going the game will hang up, lag more, especially on maps with lots of tanks. When I started this game and often since then , I can't run a fast tank or dance around , snap fire , etc. The game don't like it. With the heavier hulls this problem is lessened. Besides, in most of the videos I see for high rank battles, all I see Gizmos and Marshalls using, is Mammoths and other heavy/mediums tanks, no matter the server. Light tanks? nope, not a one.
