Might as well buy a rail gun then, at least it can inflict more damage and at multiple targets in a straight line. They have nerf the splash damage so bad Thunder is now a single shot/single target line of sight weapon, and you can't blast people hiding behind cover.
-
Depend on your weapon(s) and fighting style/maps. Viking would be cheaper, Hornet would be more standard. and Hunter is 6K crystals away :). Generally I suggest a better weapon before a better hull. Don't buy nothing till the May sale no matter what, unless some beautiful kit comes along at a super cheap price. Ask here again in a few days, or on May sale day.

This is the Vulcan page , which is mostly people who have bought one and invested in it and use it ( if only on occasion). Way wrong thing to say.

Yes m shaft got a good increase in arcade damage, and also minimum sniping damage As to the laser , without it, shaft would be way overpowered and there would be too many amateur campers using it on too many maps. There are many ways to hide your laser, if you are any good or learn how. The increased reload really hurt, don't go duking it out with railguns , ;)

Sorry no, I have seen it when when I running green/green and being "parked" behind a wall. That ain't lag.

Vulcan Increase in burning self-damage Slower turret rotation speed when firing Lower impact force
-
Doubly ridiculous , since they increased rate of fire of failgun . Which certainly was not needed except as "gift" to failgun users. Sheer Favoritism. At the least they won't get another dime out of anyone who bought Vulcan and MU one. Myself included.

AActual implemented change are here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zpPsJqEZ6NaPXbXC3r1u9SmdnzMzCCvqARgld7kmVZE/edit#gid=0 There is also a poll/topic now in the developer's section about the changes.

I cannot agree more. And people need to be very careful before they go throwing any money into buying anything now. Except for stupid failgun of course.
-
Definite wait and buy a railgun with some combo or whatever on Mayday sale, if you can stand playing with stupid failgun. Which many are going to do as the increase in ROF for failgun is way too fast. If tanki wanted to make the game in a BP/XP game , that update will about do it.

Base it on your play style, Little maps Mammoth, Bigger Maps Titan.

At lower ranks Hunter M1 is the best "all around" tank in the game.

I do know I was seeing the opposite yesterday, I have have Ishida's locking on when their turret is of by 90 degrees and I have had one stay locked on when I drove behind the Isida 180 degrees. I was having some lag but still doesn't explain the beam tracking me with the turret or the hull not turning to face me of even my general direction after several seconds.

Try this , it is from the introductory page of the developer's topic, this confirms it , not sure if this is the first place I heard of . It is a spreadsheet of the proposed changes https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zpPsJqEZ6NaPXbXC3r1u9SmdnzMzCCvqARgld7kmVZE/edit#gid=0

Sounds good to me.

The increase of the vertical spread will cause more pellets to miss high or low at greater ranges. I figure 1-4 pellets at (20m+ to max range) . 4 to 5 degrees may not seem like much but it is a 20% increase. On the same note, I don't really know if they are computing using a 90 degree or a 180 sight view.
-
Pellets that miss do not inflict damage, The vertical widening of the shot cone I think will make at least one more pellet missing high or low per shot.(therefore a reduction in damage ) 21 -1 pellet, unless you are at 10-20m or less. More will/could miss at longer range. The horizontal spread increase I do not think matters near as much. Neither does it matter much if you running DD/x2 firepower , because that is what you ought to doing with hammer anyway.
-
I think you should buy the Legend combo during the May sale, because of the Prodigi paint and you like railgun , and it will prolly be cheaper than the Jack-hammer Kit is now. Or buy the Jack-hammer Kit and a 800 supply kit(in the next few days, you need 20K) and just go plain MURDER for a month or two.

Railgun will gain a preference because it inflicts more damage per shot (~5 seconds), and thunder will become a slightly faster weapon(~3 seconds) than railgun, that can only hit one target too. Thunder splash damage (6-9 points within 12M) is a joke, under this update. As to "health packs", If you can use them "unlimitedly" , yea the game should be a joke, and find abetter way to waste your money..
-
I think this related to penetrating power, and they have just mis- translated the terms from Russian to English. Looking at it this way, the penetrating damage is improved by 15-20% (rough guess), But to be honest I have no clue about railgunning except I try to shoot railgun users on sight, if I can. :)
-
Interesting, If they keep the numbers for this new update Titans and Mammoths are going to be able turn turn faster in reverse than Wasps can turn. "Circling" might die a fast death.

The changes listed are going to be tweaked, so there is no way to really say or make buying decisions now. However for now IMO 1. Fire,Rico,Rail,Thunder with direct hits, Isida?, in that order, but player preference matters 2. You'll be seeing more Fail gun users/ rail shots everywhere . +more thunders 3. With the vertical dispersion increase , hammer is going to miss more pellets every shot 1-4. The increase horizontal won't affect it near as bad. i.e.( no real change-might hit an adjacent tank with 1 extra pellet on occasion 4. smoky is nerfed. Thunder will become the slower smoky with deadly FP 5- either and depends on M level 6 Fire 7 no 8- Twins is a joke. good M0 for a private/recruit, Rico is a great weapon, But I have not seriously looked at the new Twin changes, seems twins will be good inside 20m and that is it 9 n/a 10 n/a

Poly CP seems pretty mindless anywhere on the map , to me. I suppose thunder still can work there since the outer ledges are (60m to center) for Max damage. However Thunder's splash is taking a super hit inflicting only 10% for a 12m radius at any range(6-9 points a shot). No longer will thunder be able to splash blast opponents hiding as there is no Max damage splash range anymore. Am I correct in this stuff?

It looks like they are trying to eliminate long and medium range weapon use, except for rail and shaft users. And they are really helping rail . Which I suspect is from a Russian rail player/dev bias. Looks like the battles will become close range blood baths, except for campers taking their cheap shots, since most weapons gained some increased damage at short range ,and lost their long range ability, and no armor improvement for hulls. I am leaning toward, mindless "Polygon" battles on every map. Will cause increased drug use and kills and some people will have to alter their garage(buy stuff). And Rico will become the New Vulcan. And nobody will circling Titans. My Fav Combo
