    Let's Discuss Vulcan!

The freeze is used to keep the ice cream cool, the Isida is used to keep the Vulcan from blowing up. :D

    Let's Discuss Vulcan!

If you can get 3-4 players together, cooperating, you ought to be able to devastate most opponents and un-coordinated teams. Vulcan or not.

    Let's Discuss Vulcan!

Well sure, but if you continually pop drugs + healths with many tank combos , you can pretty much keep killing and not dying, and build some impressive D/L ratios

    Let's Discuss Vulcan!

I seeing a guy burning through through DD and DAdrugs and first aid kits , fighting a team thats looks rather out -matched and them often ignoring this danger.. About the only thing that seems weird to me is the VERY SLOW of over-heating. Perhaps that is a M0 quirk, (although I am not certain how the various heat factors work or the MU upgrades) Because you certainly can't fire that long with an M1( even with storm paint) without burning through 2x-3x first aid kits he used, that would not even be feasible given the recharge rate for drugs, you would blow up. I often use this very combo except M1 Vulcan and M1 Titan with storm :) , although I more often use dirty as I fight on bigger maps. Polygon is a mindless blood-bath if you ask me, much like that video confirms.

    Ideas for Supplies and Drones!

We got enough invisible and/or laggy and/or cheating tanks without having an invisibility drug.

What to buy? Which is better?

Well yea, i agree , in so far as short range Thunder paints go. If I use used Thunder , I would go with corrosion far past sandstone and not bother with cedar either. Cedar seems like a dead end paint, unless you fight close in with thunder maybe.

What to buy? Which is better?

Cedar is similar to Metallic, but cost 40K more. It works very well against self-damage 3?% and other thunders,, but THAT is almost it (5% smoky -_-) . Corrosion would help a-lot more fighting at the distances Thunder should be at and still have anti-thunder/anti-self damage and it is cheaper. No need for Cedar IMO as sandstone would be better to wait on. Also sandstone comes along at near the rank of M2 thunder IIRC.
  8. LOL, Simple , you need M2 Isida. It works against the heavy tanks you are now fighting. M1 Isida too weak for offense. Gain a rank and get M2.

What to buy? Which is better?

Get the Xl starter kit for paints. Dragon, storm and dirty for 8900 total, 3 best paints for cheap. Also include Viking and other stuff. You can use them till you want/can buy paints that cost 100K+ each. If you use shaft, Dirty is the best paint for a LLOONNGG time. As to thunder paints. If you use Thunder A-LOT in close combat, maybe metallic for 1k MIGHT be worth it, but there are few enemy thunders so a different anti paint would help more. There is not a thunder paint worth buying at all until corrosion at 35k, which is a poor substitue for dirty. Sandstone is IMO the first GOOD thunder paint.

What to buy? Which is better?

Wait to get Isida M2 at 3rd dime. M1 isida can only do health and support. To use Isida you need a fast hull, suggest Hornet orHunter. Since you have smoky , I would suggest Thunder , but too expensive. With a Titan I suggest Rico M1 at 26K Or Vulcan M1 at 29K. Or stick with smoky , till you can get M2ISi and hull for it

The MU for M1 Vulcan reload time is expressed as a (+) instead of a (-) . I am reluctant to try to upgrade that, unless corrected.

    Bermuda Triangle = ?

This is exactly what the Bermuda Triangle is. A media concocted hoax. Oceans and sea are inherently dangerous. The area , of the "Bermuda Triangle" is no more dangerous or mysterious than anywhere else on the water. Most of the "mysterious" disappearances in the area mentioned in the books of the 60"s and 70's have been found or solved. A-lot of this kinda stuff was really in vogue in the 1970's , if you are/were old enough to remember back then. "Close Encounters" , Chariots of the Gods, What's your Sign? ,Pyramid Power, Tarot cards, ESP, Magic 8-balls, Mayan end of the world -2011, etc. The "Great Lakes" between Canada and the US have had far more cases of disappearances and maritime disasters than the Bermuda Triangle, yet there is no public debate as to supernatural causes for them.

I use only Vulcan and Rico, neither are OP.

    Bugs and Glitches Reports [Closed]

I think they fix those kinda things when they occasionally pull maps, if they are noticed. It looks in that picture, that the small tile used is rotated 90 degrees to where it should be.

    Let's Discuss Hammer!

I am thinking , I need to pull mine out the shop. I have a M1 hammer/Hunter combo, that I have yet to use. And tons of DD's <_<

What to buy? Which is better?

I suggest Pizza. Blacksmith or Winter looks like a pretty paint , and has good long range defence
  18. If I haven't met you , I have met your clone :D . I am the Titan/Vulcan dude. Get that Diamond (3rd Lt.) and buy Isida M2. . Past that , work on doing covered approaches. Get to within 15m, and you can't lose. Play maps that work to your advantage. PS- Don't fight DD Hammers.

    Let's Discuss Hammer!

Oh yes it is. A DD hammer sitting in/cruising around one of your spawning areas, 1 shotting every light/med tank and 2 shotting every heavy tank when they appear is something to be taken out ASAP. If you have a heavy tank , and are playing many of the game types and maps, you will want to "waste" a DA , to get rid of a DD hammer , shooting up the countryside and your side at leisure B) . A shield/DA well wasted if it saves 3-4-5-6 of your sides' tanks, especially in TDM. And note a Hammer can shoot about 50m(10spaces) "effectively", which is enough to cover most of 1/2 of the maps (100m), if the hammer is not hanging out near an edge. Now sure if a DD hammer is out in the middle of the map or on the other side more than 50m, or engaging another tank, it would be cheaper to just shoot them with whatever. I am only noting a tactic for dealing with DD hammers close in or closing in to yourself, because I know what those Hammers are doing/intend to do. Also note this (pop a sheild) only works for heavy tanks and heavy tank users. We tend to not like getting killed by 2 shots of anything close by, especially some Dinky DD Hammer tank.

    Let's Discuss Hammer!

Best way to beat a Hammer with DD, is pop a shield supply, if you are in a Dictator or better. You can survive 3 DD max shots that way. Without this, very few tanks(M3 class -Hornet +Wasp) can survive even 2 shots from a DD hammer. DD hammers are basically looking at one-shotting or two-shotting anything they approach. This is a way around that.

    Let's Discuss Vulcan!

I'll note something new here. Anti-Vulcan Tactics At close range ? Of course you close range guys already know to circle. You can also go reverse, after moving forward. Or rock back and forth forward /backward while circling , or laterally to the Vulcan's LOF, changing speed and juking. Vulcan can't traverse fast,so either way it throws off their aim, but reversing direction will really demoralize them. Getting shot at by a Vulcan at distance ? MOVE! And move laterally to the LOF of the Vulcan, juke while doing so, change elevation if possible, at long range a Vulcan has a hard time seeing movements so doing all these messes with them. The whole key is to get out of their immediate LOF and staying out of it for a few seconds. After this you can seek real cover , and the Vulcan will over-heat/stop firing at you. So 2 things , Never stay in A Vulcan's immediate LOF, and don't move in a perpendicular steady line and speed where they can track you with a steady turret swing. Erratic movements really throw off a Vulcan. Keep them firing AND MISSING , they will switch targets and/or they will start over--heating, which leads towards them ceasing fire, and you a chance to shoot-back and/or find real cover or a covered approach. LOF= Line of Fire

    Let's discuss Wasp!

Look at the Wiki. If you want more speed, go wasp, If you want to pop/out pop/in faster go Hornet. No armor diff, 135/138. The Hornet costs 32k less, 70/102. speed is same as Wasp M1
  23. Strawwitz

    Let's Discuss Vulcan!

I'll tell people Vulcan is a-lot of fun. With a Heavy Tank and many targets in view, Go DD and hold the hammer down and just keep shooting, till your health is about 1mm and then pop a health while continuing to fire. Total Carnage :)

    Let's Discuss Vulcan!

It was name after a US Weapon . The GE M-61 Vulcan cannon, Still in use today. On its way to being used for a 100+years I'll bet. Check this link you'll see the resemblance immediately. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M61_Vulcan
  25. The light tanks are still the only tanks allowed in tournaments. Before now I thought all people who did use(Hornet and rail) did so because they prefered tournament play and merely practiced with that combo in regular play as that made sense. Now I find out most of the hornet +rail users , didn't/don't have a clue that the Hornet/rail combo was really a/the tournament combo more than anything. This update did not affect tournament play at all, so why complain, go use your Hornet/rail where it was/is supposed to be used. The regular world of Tanki  is a-lot bigger than the hornet/rail tournament combo, and to hornet/railers the rwoT  should just be practice anyway.
