Maybe the judges can answer that. Nothing about captions have been mentioned in the original post. Personally, I think words can add a lot to a picture. On the flip side there are also those pictures that need no words; they'd be that awesome!

I think this was already very clear. In the heat of a debate, the line between assumptions and presumptions can easily blur - a very human facet of intellect. I'm sure the readers are grateful for the mature decision to lay this to rest.

Rail or isida? Which is better for earning crystals (I don't plan on investing in heavy MUs atm)? On the one hand there's the usefulness of an isida, on the other xp battles...

Tbh, I got a little lost between the humorous narration, dialogue and the sub-titled substance of this collaborated article. Spoilers for the dialogue would have been nice. Or aligning parts left/right - so the reader can distinguish parts more easily. Lots of info here though. But I'm still unsure of MUs at the M3+ level :unsure: I wonder if the anti-glare on my glasses has worn off...that fluorescent green just gave me a headache. *Checks graphics properties*

I was going to suggest the same thing: font size. Please consider reducing it. I think the standard size for body text is 12... not sure. Btw zebras... lol. Actually the zebra paint (safari) has isida protection so not always worth spending isida energy trying to kill them.

If this article were a tank, I'd say it would be a Titan+smoky on DD with all the critical details ;) Well done!

My vote for OPiness goes to isida. It's stats on paper belies the ease of real-time operation. Throw in some supplies, a decent palette of paints, a viking m4 and a couple of long lost bossom buddies from the isida sorority and all you non-isidas can eat your heart out, or let them do it for you - service with a smile. You can't outrun them - there's a good bit of range in their favor. The rate of self healing seems high. I side with the isidas though when it comes to the limited cone angle of attack - that needs to be broadened a little. P.S: Not actively looking for advice on equipment or counter tactics.

Some excellent suggestions! Agree with @drazeruzumaki though that #4 may not be necessary if #2 is implemented. The redundancy of purpose (accidental spending) could be an additional hindrance to its viability. Which brings me to #2 - I couldn't agree more with the idea. But the password problem... I'm not sure how uncomplex adding another layer of password protection is. For starters, how would you change it? Thinking aloud, do current settings prevent a hacker from changing the primary password or the registered email? A real time example pops into my head - the 'transaction' password some banks use. Really drives you up the wall when you've got multiple bank accounts and are in a hurry. It's interesting to note that the bank in question eventually abandoned the measure. I could think of one alternative to problems posed by nested passwords - a confirmation link/form sent via email getting triggered when there is an attempted crystal debit or email/password change. While that would mandate email registration, there is the advantage of not having to remember or worry about another password. Dependency on the 'external' factor will then be the trade-off for the guarantee of a snag free transaction. What I feel is if #1 (security question/personal details) and the grinding details needed to cut the red tape at the tanki helpdesk entrance is sufficient to prove your account was hacked (i.e. a primary password breach), it should follow logically that all activity (crystal transactions, bans, posts etc) on that account following the date (approximate maybe?) of hacking needs to be reversed - this being the ideal case. Feasibility of this depends on how much information (on what level) tanki actually retains about each account. Personally I think it wouldn't be easy for the company to maintain a database that vast - it may be a big part of their job, I really don't know. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say devs couldn't care less about it. Add a possibility of gold ;) by means of commercializing a security feature and they may look at it. So how about sending snapshots of the users account (including settings, purchases etc) to the registered email at the end of a day/week? Would it help track inconsistencies? Open to debate.

The author is free to take it or ignore (and I don't have to know which since I'll find out later anyway). My intention is to impart information with the hope that I can enjoy more inspirational writes in the future. Opening comments: Purely in terms of aspects of the written word - grammar, sentence structure, etc - this article is reasonably well written. Since the writing style comes across as very 'strong', IMHO the adopted style of humour is antagonistic to a heavy subject such as this. And considering it’s controversial, banking mainly on the opinions of people, I think a certain degree of sensitivity is warranted in the tone of the article. Closing comments: This article does have a point. I felt it needs cutbacks and revisions though. I liked the Rio article better than this. Good luck. All the words above are opinions :rolleyes: . I'm not looking to start conversations contesting them nor am I pledging allegiance to any tanki division.

Sorry to see so many bruises over an article. Guys, take some of that motion out of E-motion - in both posts and articles. For example: Why a 40% sale is better than a 50% - Logically thinking, most tankers would have barely saved up enough crystals for their stuff predicting a 50% sale, and would fall short by just a little when it turns out to be 40% instead. Result (assuming you got what you wanted at 40%) is, you'll have less competition in battles fighting off guys who bought the same stuff as you - basically that 'batch' of tanki players sharing your rank curve. It's an advantage when the stuff you use isn't common. You'll end up making up for the 10% difference faster than in the scenario where everyone bought new stuff and got that much harder to kill... Keep it positive!

WoW! Omg! Thanks a ton judges! Congrats all winners! As someone who loves poetry (and enjoys reading it) I'll say this aloud - I really liked Nicole's poem, I think it's beautiful. I don't want to sound like an over the top goody-goody, but since I think it's kinda cruel to not give any prizes to the players who solved the quest part of this contest - namely, BuriedSky, BlueDragon_tamki, deafeat1 and sudeeprauta - if the contest sponsors are okay with it, I don't mind if you cut down my crystal reward to 30,000 and distribute the 10,000 as consolations... Just being fair, since I'd have never gotten to the keyword the way I saw it and participation should be encouraged.
