Episode 64 of the V-LOG is here

You did not say what paint he used. Raccoon sucks against Isida. Even the 3k crystal Safari is superior to it. You need Rock or Lumberjack. Now your Raccon brings the protection of your tank to slightly better than his. Your DA neutralizes his DD. Your Twins damage is less than 80, probably 75. If he is reasonably upgraded, his effective damage (including self-healing) is about 90. You can't beat that. I do not think you needed 3 tanks to kill it. 2 should be enough as long as they both lasted the time necessary to kill him. When I say 2 tanks, I mean assuming comparable health for the 3 tanks involved. If you are both half health and he has full health (which is likely), you are toast. I usually avoid Isidas (unless I am one) unless they are already under fire. In DM, when I find people fighting an Isida, I help them. :) I do not fire at Firebirds in DMs (when I have a Firebird. They usually get the message and do not fire at me. Once someone did not get the message, so I had to roast him to get the message through his thick scull, but it worked. :)

You know, they should sell Random sale passes. Say you buy one for 5000 crystals, and it can be a sale from 1% to 50%. Naturally the 50% sale would have a probability of 1%, so on the average you would need to spend 500k crystals to get it and it would be on a random item: turret, hull, or paint in your rank, valid for one day. Isn't that a good way to rip off people?

What to buy? Which is better?

Although that is a good advice, Viking M2 is faster than Dictator M4.

^ In the end, you should micro upgrade everything all the way. Start with upgrading the protection, but upgrade the speed the first few steps.

Regarding the transfer of accounts to the Unity version, I think the removal of the dislike is going to be very handy at the beginning of the Unity era.

Double Damage does not double your self-healing. Your self-healing is a certain percentage, say 45% of the damage you deal. When you double the damage you deal, your self-healing doubles (compared with original case). Also, when your enemy is using DA, your self-healing goes down because your damage goes down. Maybe that is what you meant. Because of the DD effect, it is nearly impossible for any tank without drugs to beat an Isida on DD, because the Isida recovers about as much health as the other tank is dealing. The same goes when the Isida is on DA, because it is dealt half the damage which is about as much health it recovers. So when you see an Isida on drugs, don't walk, run! :P

I loved the expert advice section, especially that you shouldn't flip your teammate while healing them. I didn't know that before. That was some serious advice. Way to go!

I don't want to comment on it and get another warning. :P

50% protection is very good, and that is Graffiti, Zeus, and Clay. Before Mars, I used to get scared of Firebirds (and Hammers). Zeus is seriously good with Fire. However, you should never march up to a Vulcan (like a noob :P). You should go around it, especially if you had a short-range turret like I mainly did since Brigadier. With Twins, you don't need to march. :P Fully upgrading a Gizmo paint costs 750-900k crystals, making it cost 1-1.2m crystals.

It is really hard to tell. I did not go by hours. In the last few months, I was doing about 5k exp a day. Then it went down to 3k exp. I was picky with my battles, so that took a while. I probably played for 1-2 hours but good battles. That naturally added about as much time not playing because of the lack of good battles. When I find myself not doing well (wasting my time), I quit as soon as I figure that out. In bad battles, on top of not making a decent score, you practically earn no crystals. I naturally played more on the weekends, usually. On the last several weekends, I was actually busier than weekdays.

Not really. I did not make serious mistakes that I know of. It was a learning experience. If it were not for the kits, I would not have tried Hammer, Isida, Thunder, and Fire. One could have experimented a little more in the M0 days, but I was a serious noob then. I laugh whenever I remember that the time you see when you hover over the micro-upgrade (which is the delay) in my early days I thought it was the time a micro-upgrade is active. :) When I read about people upgrading something all the way, it did not make sense to me. I thought they had to do that repeatedly. It is kind of embarrassing, but hey there was no good tutorial I went through. It was a recreation for me. Some people train rigorously to figure out how to aim a certain weapon or climb on top of a tank, ramp, building, whatever. I never thought it was imperative to do that. Maybe the only think I feel bad about is discovering CP pretty late, but this is a matter of opinion.

Don't think of that as a waste of time. Think of it as fun. Play in a battle as long as you enjoy it. I agree that I had some fun or I would not do it for nearly a year, but the pressure made me go into battles I did not like or play longer than I should, etc. I would be disappointed if the Unity version started from scratch. I think everyone will. That is why we should have as much fun as possible while we can. :P As somebody said, if they focus on Unity, they will make less miserable updates to this. :)

Exactly. If you think you are forcing the people to give meaningful feedback, think again. They would just post a reply that says -1, period.

That is instinctive. In this situation, you notice that you are not earning good scores. When I am in that situation, I leave. I do not care why I am not doing well whether it is bad luck, people drugging, I have the wrong equipment, etc. It is just not fun. I leave because I discover this early on, and I have not earned a good score anyway, so nothing to lose if I leave, especially if I am on the losing team. So, don't worry about my teammates. They are not my teammates for long in this situation. :P

I currently use the Firebird most, then comes the Isida, then the Rico, and finally Thunder. I play CP nearly always. The order I listed the turrets with is the order I instinctively tend to go into the point, where the most points are. I like Rico most, but mine is not upgraded well, so it tends to lose when you go into the pit. I am going to try to use it a little more now. I do not play with Railgun because when I tried in my low ranks, I always missed even though I was following the tank with the turret. The only time I do not miss is when the other tank is not moving. On the other hand, when someone else used it against me, they hit me even though I thought I moved out of their line of fire. So, early on, I decided that I did not want to be on either side of the Railgun. Smoky did not attract me because it has a lower DPS than Rico and is less flexible. The fact that it is the first turret one uses helped with that opinion. Despite that, sometimes I am impressed with it. It seems that I often underestimate it. I mainly use Viking because I had better upgrades on it than the Hunter. I feel that I have not benefited from the extra speed of the Hunter but suffered from its lower protection. Remember that I play Polygon CP most often, and that is where Titan is probably the best turret. Despite that, I am considering getting Hornet at some point. Maybe at some point, I will give the Railgun a try. Maybe I will be lucky and get a Railgun XT mission. :P

Thank you. I will think about that. I am also considering recording game play videos, not because I am all that good, but because everybody's doing that.

If you see my gold box videos, you will see me sometimes go to the gold box with near zero health without any drugs. Gold box is the holy grail for druggers and non-druggers alike. If you don't believe me, you need to wait until TO puts out the ratings and statistics.

^ The fact that I intend to have fun now does not imply that I did not fun at all before. It is going to be more now. I do not put myself in the situation you describe. I actually only play CTF if I have to because of a mission with a high crystal reward, and chances are I would change it even then. I get what you mean, but I do not agree with your assessment. I leave drug wars. I let chronic druggers sort it out amongst themselves, not because I am so patriotic in the first place but because I do not have fun in those situations, and I do not get many crystals, so I am better off counting my fingers.

    I Made It

On November 29, 2014, I made this post Sorry if Repeated: Can You Become a Commander in Cheif for free (Cheif misspelled in original post :)). At the time, I was a Corporal or something like that. In the beginning, I estimated to take three years to get to a Gizmo. Here I am less than a year later a Gizmo. You can see here, my experience points, crystals, and how many of each garage supply I have. I did not buy any crystals. Neither have I activated any drug ever. I did not use garage supplies to get gold boxes, to capture flags, to capture points, or any other reason. All the drugs given to me are still in my garage. This video gives a quick tour of my garage. I don't boast to be one of the best, but I sure exceeded my expectations and made reasonable progress, surviving against druggers, raiders, saboteurs, etc. Now, I can play for fun. I am not under any pressure to earn exp points to rank up for any reason. There are no good sales to look forward to, thanks to Tanki Online, so I have no pressure to earn crystals. I can join any game I like, and, when it is no longer fun, I can leave, not worrying about losing crystals or anything. I also intend to get PRO passes to join drug free battles when I do not feel like donating crystals to chronic druggers. I now have exactly 1,400,000 exp points, and with this post I will have exactly 1,400 posts. It is ironic to be able only now to say: I can now have fun!

Although I am not a fan of tennis, I have high regard for the tennis ball shooter. You have to know a bit about snooker though. Machine gun in my not so humble opinion is the second noobest turret after the twin water gun. :P
