    Let's Discuss Railgun!

Yeah, that figures. Especially at M3 hornet starts to lag behind the other hulls, just look at the stats. Mammoth M3 has well over twice the heath of hornet. I still use hornet, however, for CTF and CP. Mammoth is only really useful in these as a sniper and flag guarder. Hornet makes for fun gaming sice you can dodge shots and irritate the strange people who manage to get to brigadier without turning their turret. Either way, rail is not the the best DM turret unless you REALLY know what you're doing. Thunder kicks out higher DPM and still doses out enough damage to take down a rail head on.

    Let's Discuss Twins!

I think people confuse 'fun' with 'incredibly annoying'

    Let's discuss Wasp!

You just said 'opinions are opinions' so stop criticizing my opinion and don't bother quoting me when you state your own. Regarding isida, you obviously knew what I meant tomeven mention that, so my point is completely valid. I don't want to get into a fight, so stop being so provocative when you have no reason to be annoyed at anything. PS. I see wasps all the time and your personal taste in style is none of my concern.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

TBH, I disagree. Shaft players manage to kill vastly more than they get killed, so I think an upgrade would upset the balance.

    I don't follow... Explain please

    Let's Discuss Firebird!

Ya M2 firebird can dispatch a mammoth in next to no time. Against wasps and hornets it's like using a /kill command. Burn damage becomes catastrophic after 1 second of contact. Turret rotation goes crazy, range is immense..... Ya it's a good turret.

    Let's discuss Wasp!

U gotta be joking..... Wasp looks top-heavy with everything but smoky. When have you ever seen a real tank that has a turret bigger than its hull? Hornet is a beauty. I use it with everything. Wasps flip so easily, although they usually manage to do a full 360 and land back on their tracks.

    Let's Discuss Railgun!

I'll admit, I use rail fairly often, although only in situation where it IS a good tuurt to use, e.g. Monte Carlo, but I like to think I'm pretty good at it. I've seen people carry M0 rail right up to the rank of captain, but this is sheer madness since my M2 hornet with tundra upgraded to 36% can withstand 4 M0 rail shots, and it's a light hull. People often use it when they have no idea what they are doing with it. Some noobs even think its a short ranger and get really close because their aim is so terrible that they can't shoot further than 100m without missing. Why not just get firebird? I get the appeal with rail, but people have gone frazy with it. You just can't use to its full potential on a map like noise, where freezes will just come and render you immobile.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

Ok, maybe this isn't the best place to comment on this matter then, my mistake. I have nothing against you. My apologies.

    Ideas for Turrets!

Tanki doesn't need any more turrets. In my opinion hammer and vulcan were a flunk, since they didn't really fill any gaps. Tanki has covered all bases for now. We don't need any more.

    Anyone else thing wasp's ugly?

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

U kiddin' me. I used to use shaft and I lasted a half hour every time before I got bored and switched to thunder with hornet. Then again, that's just my opinion. Some people probably like the ability to 1 shot people from miles away. For me it's too impersonal. Plus I get annoyed when I'm trying to CTF and someone kills me out of the blue. If I say I'm sorry for upsetting the decent shafters, I'll hope you believe me. My problem is with noob shafters. I'm tired of arguing.

    Let's Discuss Thunder!

I use thunder with hornet. I hate using slow hulls, there's not a lot you can do to counter druggers coming at you at fullspeed unless you have the speed to get out of the way. Wasp is too ugly for my liking.

    Let's Discuss Railgun!

That's fair enough, but I'm not sure it's true. As kay said, railguns are everywhere, wheras twins are rather a rarity. Good job too because it's a nightmare to face against.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

XP combo is common becuase it is fun to use and very mobile. Shaft is neither of these things so its over population in the low-level battlefield bewilders me.

    Let's Discuss Railgun!

That's a stupid comment, as skill is on a scale, and everybody needs at least SOME skill to play. If nobody had any skill on tanki, then everybody would just be spinning their turrets and driving off cliffs. People need some skill otherwise you'd get bored of losing because your team just spent all their time barging eachother off cliffs. Pro players get annoyed when their team has no skill, because it means the lose.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

And for the record, mr deaf M1-A2, I said I imagine pro shafts would be LESS annoying, because they do their job, rather than just noob camping in one spot forever blocking off an entry point to their base. You didn't pay any attention to what I was really saying. You just pulled a few out of place quotes from what I was saying and though if you wrote a real load then your point would make sense. It didn't work. I'm still scratching my head as to why you even wrote what you wrote, since I fail to see why you got so angry at my comment when you don't understand what I'm trying to say. I have M1 shaft, but I rarely use it because it's the most overrated gun on the field. There might be 4-5 shafts on each side of a monte carlo battle, and nobody can move anywhere. It's ridiculous. It looks like a nineteen eighties laser light show. Shaft would be ok if fewer people used it, so just pretend I'm not talking to you ans shut up.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

People love using that quote. My problem wouldn't be shaft if people used it to defend flags and be active more often. I have explained this dozens of times to shaft lovers, so lets make this the last, ok? Shafts are very sedimentary in the low-level battlefield. They camp and do little more than snipe weary light hulls (yes I'm generalising but it's largely true). I imagine skilled players would be less annoying, since they would move around and help their team, but I rarely encounter shaft at higher levels, at least compared to their saturation in lower battles. I think it often ruins the experience of many players when noobish shafts camp and shoot. Their team never wins, since they don't go for flags, but neither does the other team, since they are just being 1-shotted at spawn. Shaft users should widen out, try some other turrets, or at least move a little. Shaft is not the real problem. It just gives noobs an unfair advantage. No offence bros.

    Let's Discuss Thunder!

Ok, maybe I misunderstood your tone. I thought you were just being awkward for the sake of it, but your point is fair enough. Maybe because you have M2 thunder and I only have M1. I don't have a problem with controversy, but for the record, I don't want to argue with you. Especially since you're a fellow thunderer :D Sorry for getting abit uppity, I thought you were having a go.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

Nah, that's not what he was saying. Maybe you should read what he's saying carefully, because I agree with him completely.
  22. sackpilot

    Let's Discuss Hornet!

Hornet is my 1-stop for everything. I just mount thunder or rail depending on whether I want to kill people or capture flags. Always use tundra so M1 rail can't 1-shot me. Non micro-upgraded M2 has trouble too sometimes, which is suprising since I did the maths using the quoted damage and it didn't work out. I like to think that my hornet is magic

    Let's Discuss Railgun!

Ok, maybe I phrased myself wrong. I should have said 'most shaft users don't use skill'. What I was saying is that ,any people can't be bothered to be active with shaft. They just sit in one place and shoot wasps and hornets. If I use it I try and play with some skill. I move around and use arcade mode alot, and it works for me. Maybe I came across as abit intense. That wasn't my intention. I just want to encourage people to be a bit more active with shaft rather than staying in the same spot forever, even returning when they get killed. Chill out pal, didn't mean to upset ya.
