I very nearly bought Rock on the 50% sale. Didn't though. Too much doubt about upcoming protections change. And I already have good Isida protection in Lumberjack.

^ yeah if I'm in a team battle and the other team has two Isidas, I usually find another battle. Now that I have Twins M3+, I might see if I can take them on. Rico M3 could not do it. Edit- actually the above is not true. With a bit of skill and maneuvering, Rico M3 can beat Isida M3. The drugger will win but if both or neither are drugging, Rico definitely has a chance.

It's okay stock, but needs MUs to really shine. With Titan though you will run out of ammo long before you run out of health. The other factor in your favor is that on Polygon, few tanks wear Rico protection paint. Too busy protecting against Firebird and Twins. Clay can be a problem though. The Gissmo battles I've played usually have at least two Clay tanks prowling around. I just avoid them or let someone else land the first hit.

No, I think kits are supposed to rotate tonight. In about 2 hours from the time of this post.

Agreed. If you land every shot, which is VERY hard to do at any real distance, you are unstoppable.

Pricing. I am most concerned with the paints, since I expect the pricing of the modules to be more or less in line with the current costs of paints. But when paints separate, how much will just a pretty paint cost? Will all paints be 100 crystals or will more attractive paints cost more? How much am I willing to pay for looks? Will paints still unlock at ranks? Can some 'ugly' or redundant paints be removed? I really mean the numerous cammo paints... How many of those do we really need? Maybe 'ugly' is the wrong word... I do think eventually there will be a set of very unpopular paints. But maybe someone still likes them. IDK. How many modules will we be able to choose from and what will their protections be? Will we be able to chose what turrets a module protects against or will this be fixed? I read a lot of people considering buying Rock on sale, thinking that they will get ahead of this change. Ask yourself if that 10-15% Hammer protection is really worth it? I don't think so. Not when the other protection in question is Freeze... .

That's about where I have mine. It's good, but you still need to drug for Polygon CP and DM games.

I've been using Isida in CTF battles. Sometimes I want to make a run for the flag. Team mates, do NOT yell at me in team chat because I do not heal you when I am trying to make it back to our base to capture the flag.

Sounds expensive. Do you buy crystals? If not I would just keep using Minotaur and buy individual items on sales until you can get Paladin.

This. Exactly this. Makes me think twice about Minotaur too, but Minotaur costs less and inlocks earlier so you have time to earn crystals for a better paint.

I'll probably have enough crystals to purchase Stinger this weekend. I did rank to WO5 though, so the other Isidas I see are already M2. :( Then I am going to have another problem. I will be broke during the June sale, which is okay given that I've bought a 50% off kit, but not so good in that I won't be able to put even a few MUs or a paint into my garage.

M3+ Hammer with double damage one shot kills many Vikings. Not sure how this works from a numbers perspective, but it's pretty maddening when I'm on the receiving end. :blink:

Noob mistake for sure, but you came down kinda hard on him.

Go with Firewall or Minotaur instead of Atlas. Both will last you until Paladin. And you will end up with a richer inventory of turrets.

Atlas is good for flag camping in Noise.

You might get that money back, but I wouldn't bother. Just exploit what you earn on premium using whatever supplies you have - even speed boosts help. You'll end up with more crystals than if you bought a supplies kit.

If you are really interested in Thunder, I would say Raiden, then either get another kit later (Cardinal) or add turrets on sales. Or just buy Thunder.

I'm wondering this myself. Leaning toward M4 combo. Polish what you are already good at. Then round out for fun and diversity.

AGREED!!!! Further, I encourage you (the original asker) to look at the true M3 kits starting at Brigadier. Lots of really good ones to choose from. And the careful, Crystal-saving player can afford no less than three M3 kits. I bought Jackhammer at Brigadier, then Redneck at Marshal, and I will have enough at Commander to buy the Vulcan-Mammoth-Africa kit with the volcano name.
