I get it. I am also frustrated that at Field Marshal, Tanki defaults me to EN1. Gismo city. When I switch to EN2, guess what - Gismos. This won't be fixed until and unless Tanki obfuscates the entire concept of a server. When a player logs into the game, all battles (on any underlying server) which fit your rank are shown, ordered by map name with the potential to re sort by maximum allowed rank in that battle. When a battle is joined, the player is silently transferred to the physical server where the actual battle is taking place. When the battle ends or the players leave, the player returns to this virtual battle list. I think I will post this as an idea.

THIS For me, the brick wall has come at Field Marshal. VERY few battles and very little map variety. A handful of Polygon, Noise, Rio, and Sandbox. One or two Madness, Kungur, Monte Carlo, Stadium, and Serpuhov. Don't even think about joining this last batch without Rail or Shaft and protection from both. I still play but i have to change out most map specific missions and I have to jump to RU servers a lot. I've also discovered that on the east coast of the U.S., I can do more when I play in the morning. I truly enjoy Alexandrovosk map, so I play that a lot on my alts. AND to the original question, yes, I think the game is worth playing through to Gissmo. You get to play with M3s, really grind to M4 and ultimately find out how good you really are when there are just no more false advantages. This last is important. Expect every Gissmo to drug, so you drug too. Expect every Gissmo to have M4 equipment, so you build up to M4 too. The game then finally comes down to how good you are compared to the player you're against. All of my alts are at M2 kit rank. I'm still toying with the idea of starting a new alt, probably focusing on Titan and Twins or Fire or Thunder for Polygon CP, but I just don't know if I've got it in me to start over again. My main austen_pierce has seen a lot of time on Tanki and some of the best days in terms of turret performance and crystal missions are behind us. I might create the alt for fun, but as with all my existing alts, I'm not so much interested in ranking them as I am in just having fun with different equipment combos. Had to hit the Russian servers this morning so I could find a TDM battle. That's right - there were NO TDM battles on any EN server at Field Marshal rank. It was a 3100 Crystal mission, so I did it. Found a Sandbox TDM on RU4, and ground my way to those rewards. .

Agreed - WO ranks fly by with a decent equipment combo. Even the Lieutenant ranks are kinda quick.

Stock M1 Wasp will get wrecked a lot. You get targeted by other players due to the perception that you are an easy kill. I had a M1 Wasp MUd to 20/50 and it was good, but I would not recommend spending the crystals to do this under the new MU system.

Yeah, I just bought Storm on all three of my alts on the 25% paint sale. I have both Loam and Lumberjack on my main, so Storm doesn't make sense here.

At high rank almost everything is mounted on Viking. Large maps disappear, so light hulls do too. Titan also shows up a lot on Polygon CP. Isida is everywhere. Firebird is common although less common than at M2 and low M3 ranks. Smoky also makes a comeback at high ranks. There are also usurpers. These are the players who show up in a turret like Hammer Freeze or Vulcan, drug double damage, and clean house because no one wears protective paint from these weapons - too busy guarding against Fire and Rail .

I do try these things. Mostly it works. I've leaned that playing Friday night and Sunday night is not good as there are no games on any sever, EN, RU, PO, or DE. Brazilian server... Will my account work there? I didn't think so, otherwise I could have double dipped on sales.

account 1 - Field Marshal Account 2 - Second Lieutenant Account 3 - Warrant Officer 3 I am still tracking mission rewards and will post again at the end of week 2. I have also tracked for each account and the numbers are not significantly different. Yes, each account got one Premium Account reward during my analysis.

I would say Stinger for speed of Hornet.

Vanpire kit + a week of premium got me to WO4, but not enough crystals for Stinger kit. Not sure what I'll do there.

Hammer M3 with some MUs is a good support weapon in CTF. You probably won't capture many flags with it yourself because Hammer can't repel the many-on-one onslaught that flag bearers invariably attract. But you can absolutely ruin the day of one or two enemy tanks who fly out of their base focusing on your team mate. And if you take a position midfield you can sometimes relay race the flag to your base when your team mate gets busted up halfway home.

Yes, the standard 40% off is good. Just remember that you want to get it while you are Second Lieutenant. If the kit is not available and you get close to ranking to First Lieutenant slow down your game play until the kit comes back. If you do rank to First Lieutenant maybe look at Minotaur or Atlas at Captain. You will have missed the ranks at which Firewall is its most OP

I feel for ya both - I've confused Redneck, Red Suit, and Lumberjack many times. Related note, I bought Minotaur on my braxton_walker alt today. Very good but M2 Twins is not as OP as I thought it would be. King of Polygon and Noise though. Not the greatest in Rio unless you camp on the roof. And Rhino is just a useless paint. Might buy a cheap paint like Storm when the sale comes.

Posted this earlier but it didn't take. I'm not angry or frustrated. I'm just going to keep saving until a better deal comes along. I'm a bit disappointed because I thought we'd see 50% and an MU sale. Maybe next time. I will be grinding for some battle funds though. I'll just have that much more to spend, hopefully in June.

Disagree - the visual does mislead one into thinking that the sales overlap. I'm sure the commentary and text are clear that this is not the case, but the poster has a valid point that the visual image is misleading.

Double battle funds are nice. 25% discount and no MU sale means I won't be spending those funds during this sale. At least not on this account. I might pick up some low end paints on my alts though. Overall though, I'll keep saving for a better sale, hopefully in June. I'm not mad or frustrated or anything like that. This is a game after all. Yes, I'm disapponted that we didn't get a 50% discount and surprised that there is no MU sale at all, but again, I'll just wait and save my crystals until there is. I will be playing and drugging more this week to reap those battle funds though. If you see me in battle, be warned. I plan to be very aggressive on my main account, austen_pierce. It's really good, but I think the heavier hull and no reload gives Cardinal the edge.
