@Knaagdier Alterations are needed because they alter turret parameters. Without them, we would always use the same turret parameters, which would make gameplay boring over time.

@GrayWolf8733 That's good to know. At least I can enjoy this experiment for one more week, despite that the blue crystal boxes have gone. I got confused because those blue crystal boxes have gone, so I thought that this experiment was over. The new Crusader hull should be released this coming Friday as it was promised in V-Log 281.

@At_Shin Thanks for pointing that out. I did not know that there was a mistake in the V-Log. In the future, please make sure that there are no such misleading mistakes like this. Was this experiment really two weeks long?

This is the episode of the V-Log 281 where we all celebrate and wave goodbye to the good old Flash version of Tanki Online. I was very happy, a while back that developers announced that there were going to be a celebration for Flash so that players could have some nostalgia about that old game client which came to an end for Tanki Online. As for some websites, Flash will continue to get some minor support until December 31st 2020, which is approximately three weeks time. After that date, Flash will no longer receive any support updates, so that will be the total death of the Flash client. HTML5 and other technologies will take much greater grip with usability and technology support with new and even better features than now. There are lots of cool and interesting stuff coming in 2021. I am not sure what, but my best guess is more turrets and hulls for this coming year. In the meantime, let's celebrate Christmas and Happy New Year 2020 in Tanki Online when that date arrives in three weeks time. Stay informed in upcoming V-Logs for that epic holiday.

Where are the blue boxes gone? All the usual supply boxes are back. Has this experiment ended so soon? Has the two weeks passed already?

@iplayatankonline For this experiment to work well for you, you need to use a long range turret. Gauss does the best job for that. That is the reason why I mostly use Gauss for this experiment with Hornet and the piercing armor status effect augment.

@XLG1 That's true. Flash wont be forgotten. Players will always remember its legacy.

Score multiplier only makes sense to have when making multiple kills at once. Making combo kills is rare, so even if there are some instances of Gauss or other turrets that can accomplish such combo shots, it would not favour those turrets at all. The only favour from combo kills would be bonus points and crystals given to the player who makes such combo kills. That makes sense.

@wolverine848 I do understand what status effect is. I do know what unfair means, but I suppose it would be a good thing to add bonus points only for combo kills. @asem.harbi I am good with noticing how paints look. In 2015, when I joined Tanki Online, I was disappointed on how paints looked on tanks beyond the M0 modification. To make paints look their best. I would suggest that all paints covers the whole turret or hull. That goes for all turrets and hulls.

@wolverine848 It is good. At least, splash damage will get a better benefit of having its own status effect when destroying multiple enemy tanks at the same time. Simultaneous kills are the way to go for such turrets like Gauss, so it would be a brilliant idea if developers chooses to implement its combo kills effect as a status effect and for each combo kills, there would be a word saying on the status effect "multiple whammy". That is one thing but also players would earn bonus points and crystals for making multiple kills with such turrets. Simply think about other computer games where you get to destroy multiple enemies at the same time. You earn bonus points and bonus currency for that, which is what we all want in Tanki Online.

@Maf I did wish that this current event mode remained for longer though. I mean that CTF event mode. This mode should stay until the end of this experiment to give more time for more players to enjoy this game mode.

When players makes combo kills with a single shot using any turret, it would be a great idea if players had bonus points with visual status effects that says "double whammy", "triple whammy" and so on, on the tanks. That way, players making combo kills would earn bonus points and crystals as well as knowing if they really have made a combo kill. That would be something good to implement in Tanki Online. Whammy status effects would show up on tanks only when players manage to make combo kills, i.e., destroy multiple enemy tanks with the same shot that was fired at the moment with a specific turret. I have seen many car shoot-em-up games where destroying multiple enemy tanks, results in "whammy bonus points" and kills. That's what we need as a good update for combo kills status effect in Tanki Online.

@Emil It does sound good. You should pass this "whammy status effect" to developers to raise the awareness of its importance.

The Flash paint looks so good on me, especially in the special CTF mode where there are no upgrades showing on my tank. I suggest that there should also be an experiment done with paints to see how good they can look on players without tank upgrades showing up. No upgrades and no skins applied on turrets and hulls makes paints look their best. Since I do like good cosmetic looks on tanks, I suggest that paints are experimented with to look their best because I want all my collection of paints to look good on me as well as for other players to make gameplay more beautiful and appealing to everyone when playing Tanki Online. Developers should make an experiment after this one to experiment on paints to see how good they show on each turret or hull.

The new Crusader hull will be exciting for players trying out this experiment. It is going to be thrilling to experiment with a new hull.

I did not catch any balls but I got 1st. My priority in this battle was to make as many kills as possible with Gauss when clusters of enemies were mostly camping in the same spot on their base. I even did combo kills as well.

@asem.harbi Me too, I can tell the difference between the real Tanki Online pictures and the simulated one. How do you know that Tanki Online was unplayable in 2009, if screenshots from real battles were taken during that time?
