put this in the startpost of all announcements, that explain the feature. Would save you a lot of work... It is possible. the way it is done is called NAT (Netword Adress Tanslation) and it is the Nr.1 way that todays WLAN rounters work (preconfigured). In short words: [local IPs of your PCs at home] <-> [int. IP:10.0.0.1 - WiFi Router] -NAT- [Modem ext. IP 172.123.12.123] <-> [ internet] [PC 01: int. IP:10.0.0.23] [Laptop int. IP:10.0.0.15] [Tablet int. IP:10.0.0.88] 1. in the domain of your PCs at home, every PC has it's own unique IP address. 2. the modem/WLAN Router features NAT has only one unique IP to the outside worlds internet 3) the NAT router holds a translation table, where he associates each of your home-internal local IPs&ports to the one external IP and other assiciated ports. 4) by this means you can have a lot of PCs at home, that see each other by different local IPs but any service outside of the NAT router (any service in the internet) will see your external IP - for all computers you are using. -
@Zenlasha_G: Redneck performs very well on almost every map. Rico is versatile - if ou take your time to master it truely (!) Prometheus is awesome, but if you have an M2 fire already, you can stack it back in time. There are so many fire paints out there... Cardinal overrules both of them, if you virtually life in Polygon CP or love tiny maps (Island, PingPong, Arena, ..). If you play a Wasp like a Viking, it is hard. To be successfull with Wasp, you need a Guerilla-fighting-style gameplay and tactics: - use larger tanks as cover - hit and run - long range sabotage - close range massive damage dealer rushing in before the main attack wave comes - hidden attack-follower, that steals the flag while the main attack force is in closefights with the defenders - midrange sniper, changing positions fast and often, to weaken ann incoming tanks from various positions - ... A meassure that would help instantly, is the kick2.0 system. A meassure that would help aaaaalso, is a kind of a log, build into our flash tanki clients. A Tanker can choose, to log the things that happened in the battle ( = all the data he received from the server, which reflects all tank movements, shots, and so on of all tanks inside the battle, including his own, which are sent out). Of course this would have to be an option, so players with weaker HW are not affected by the additional, local, load. as this is a local operation, it will not effect (server based) lag. If a player wants to report sabotage, he pushes a buttong to "upload" his log to his account, create a forum entry describing what heppens + time indices and attach the log. The guy who deals with the complaint, can "replay" this log in an offline viewer, where he can move around withthe camera as in spectator mode. No more useless youtube videos.. but simply a pure replay. This has just one drawback: You (Tanki support guys) will face a lot of complaints. You need manpower to analyze them, and I guess this is a true problem. Many players would not understand the border between sabotage and bad gameplay (which is fzzy anyways) so you can prepare yourself to deal with loads of reports. So.. Kick2.0 rules due to handling effects: The players in the battle do the work. They are interrested, motivated, and available. In fact this enables you to do other work better, as you re relieved of a lot of votes, and of a lot of video analysis work. Think about the cost savings... ;)

Today I faced a new kind of lag, I have never experianced before. I have to watch it closer... so I'd like to ask if other experienced that too: Today was the first time, my hull was affected by enemy shots, that I could not see. We all know the lag effects like - "Rico bullet seems to fyl by you, but then impacts on your hull, punshes you and deals damage" - "Rail seems to shot through corners" -> ok, understood, accepted. but today I was driving, I was dealt damage by something, but I saw no impact on my hull of the enemies projectile. It happened a couple of times during a 15 minutes battle today. As I drive a Wasp, I can see how my Wasp is pushed aside, but there is simply no explosion, no nothing. any one else experienced that since/after today? -
So I should have purchased an M1 Vulcan, upgrade it all way to M2, and enjoy 10+0,5 seconds of fire, before I am fully heated up? Wow... this combined with a good paint and a doubleArmor makes a tank a almost continous damage dealer... I personally would have moch less issues with a Vulcan if the impact force would be lower. At very, very long distance I still can not hit them well, as they push even my Hunter M3 (other account...) around like a tennis ball

You are right, it is much simpler, to click just one button. On the other side is a little, little harder, to earn 800.000 crystals for an "full M4" today, instead of only 200.000 for upgrading what you really need. And especially as Wasp, you have a problem, once you reached Generalissimo: - joining XP/BP or other battles without microupgrades, gives you a completely different timing around the curves and dodges, then in normal battles with active microupgrades. - A Viking is not so critical about it.. even not a Hornet. But the Wasp is. Make one mistake at full speed while flagrunning, and you bounce a wall, and get killed. Sure you can adapt to the situation within 10 minutes. But 10 minutes is 60% of your battle time -.- Ever searched for drug-free battles, and all you've found was XP/BP, polygon CP, parcour and 999 flags? Well, you are not alone. The burning damage is 30 hp/second at maximum temperature (for all tanks, from Wasp to Mammuth). And yes, you are right.. cut down to 50% by Zeus is deals only 15HP per second. Sounds not much. On the other hand: During the 6seconds cycle time of a railgun M3/M4, the 50% of burning damage deal 90hp of damage.. which is roughly 55% or a rails damage.. or 20% of a Mammuth M4 hp. So if two rails fight one Vulcan+Isida, the burning damage is as good as 55% of an additional railgun. If Isida would not be able to heal burning and freeze any more, then - Vulcans would die a little faster - Groups if Isidas would be in trouble if facing a firebird (which is now no issue for them at all) But still.. I think this would not be enough -.-

Good & clever high ranked shaft players are truly masters of their job.. I think a vulcan is fine, if it playes without backup isida. So the burning damage is ok. Isida is fine, if it playes without vulcan, and without drugs. So the healing in hp/sec is ok => we could ask to slow down the "reduce temperature" capability of the Isida. The vulcans will overheat as fast as usual if alone.. but will not last as long as now, if cooled by an Isida. The armor and the turning speed are the cruicial assets of a Wasp m4 Unfortunately you can not update them, without updating everything else..

Had this suspicion too, but after some thinking I srapped the theory. The check does not run "always", but only if a player enters/leaves a battle. Then the battle is marked or not... and that's it. Thanks for giving some feedback after that large amount of pages. maybe you should post that into the startpost as well, as many people here do not read the stuff between startpost and last page. And.. am I the only one that finds it interresting, to party a leg-improvement-day with double funds, that lead to masssssive load on the servers? Well at least you can really show and proove, what you've achieved by then :) good luck to your coders :) -

Please not 7 continous days, because of Family days or religions or other reasons (Sabbath, Sunday, or national pig day, ..) Simply make us to complete missions on 5 different days within a week of seven days. So much more players can take part of this. This 5-within-7 will motivate much more players to play frequently, then the 7-of-7. Simply as if the chances to achieve something get higher, I am more motivated to do so. thanks a lot!! Thanks for this great topic. "battle vs own friends" So.. please do not prohibit this. Don't mark it as bad. I really like the kick2 system, as it is based on the final decision of humans.. and this would be far more superiour and usefull then the friends-tagging. Visual mark of battles with players from the same IP: What would be... if we players could see this as well? It would be usefull to select battles - together with the score board, it gives a good indication on if we should join.. or better don't. [score per minute-spent-in-the-battle] would also be a nice indicator to judge mults. Overall injustice regarding equipment-vs-rank: I think, this game could use a few more ranks. Simply as a Generalissimo with 3Mio XP (lets call him G3) has much more experience, equipment, paints and upgrades then a usual G1 (with 1.4 Mio XP). If they add a few ranks - while let the unlock of weapons as it is today - will allow it to set appart people by their power. It will help.. without harming anything. I experiance a lot of sticked-keys (whily the windows stick key feature is definitely off...). But suddenly out of nowhere my tank or turret spins to one direction, or the perspective moves up / down.. >> even if I releasse all keys.. it continues to do so !! It helps to push the button, that is used for the sticked action (like if turret rotates right, I can push x to "un-stick" it) (yes, this is not lag...) -
