    Ideas for Turrets!

aahhh I missed your answer Well vulcan is another topic.. as well as Twins. But actually it is not important. As long as they shoot at me, their constant impact force makes me bump into every wall, corner and tank around me... so I can not escape and get killed within seconds. It does not matter if they flip me, because I am dead before my turret touches the ground. Therefor I have no Vulcan or Twins paint on my Wasp. Makes no difference.

What to buy? Which is better?

The times that wasps were flipped a lot (about 400 times per month) are luckily over. Nowadays a Wasp is still more unstable then a Hornet, but you do truly spend more time on your tracks (at least on one of them driving stunts) then on the side or on your back. Flipping is perfect as it is now. Hornet/Wasp -> If you are a Hornet Pilot and love it, then stick with it. Do not think about getting a wasp "just in spare" because: - a wasp is really expensive - a wasp needs a lot of practice to truly master it (driving seems easy, but it's hard to aim with (instability), and takes a lot of practice to master it (brakeless drive paths, special moves if you go over ramps, ramp-tip-shots more harder then with Hornet, dodges harder then hornet, ...) So for "ocasional use" it is a waste of crystals > and more > a waste of your time that you could use to hone your hornet skills. If you decide between Wasp and Hronet - its always better to get really awesome in one, then to get "only good" in both. eSports rely more on Hornets and Hunters then on Wasps.. Wasps are a rare sight in realy professional eSports. Many Hornet pilots I know moved over to wasp later on.. most likely as they felt beaten so often by Wasp pilots? But IMHO the Wasp itself does not make the _main_ difference.. it the things you learn while using it, and the time you need to take to master it, that makes the difference. Many Hornet pilots in 1vs1 ask Wasp pilots to leave :) But still an awesome Hornet pilot is better then an average Wasp user. So stick to one, and get pro.

There is a thread of the sales of the past. You can take over the dates of the major sale events, but do not calculate more then 25% discount on your rail, to be on the save side. On the other hand: You have 12k, the rail M2 costs 9x.000. You lack around 80.000 crystals. From your current rank to Major you have to climb 150.000 experience points.. so most likely you earns pretty precisely 80.000 crystals in this time frame. Together with some rank up bonuses, you will earn enough to purchase Rail M2 full price by major.

    Let's discuss Wasp!

Some tell yes, some say no. I personally say no (at the momnet), but they recently seemed to have buffed freeze a little.. so maybe they now take care of this unlucky turret (M2 is nice, but M3 cant compete against other M3s any more. Watch the last vLog, and notice how far the Vikings could turn around, although they have been frozen for seconds). If your enemies are fast enough to turn around and fight you, then Wasp is maybe not the best platform for Freeze any more. Or you have enough patience, to attack only targets that are already distracted and where you come exactly from their dead angle of view.. but this limits freezers usability. Of course all that is only true, if you run without drugs On drugs an M3(M4) freeze is an almost constant stream of pure death, due to it's high damage and low energy consumption. (I preffer to play non-drugged, and match my skill. I have no benefit from overpowering others, and so have no need to improove skill wise. If I want to overpower others I would go and create a noob account; no costs, no waiting, no nothing - just pure & boring overperweness) If you plan to get M3 Wasp/M3 Freeze, please notice that there is a kit (Boreas I think) that comes with M3 Wasp, M3 Freeze, Taiga paint. Rank: two golden stars.

    Let's discuss Wasp!

you'll notice the difference in the game. If the pilot constantly beats the sh*t out of you, it is most likely M2 ;) (The stepping from M1 to M2 is huge.. it feels very ,very awesome) Actually a very good question. I think it totally depends on the turret. If you have some heavy damage dealer (railgun, Firebird) then it's hit and run; sneak intp position and hit them hard, and be on your escape route already. This actually needs a lot of patience.. because it is so easy to fall into a rushing mode. But it makes sense to wait until the tank has passed by and then atack him from behind (you catch them easeily, while infront of them you die easily). What helps me most is a constant use/change of the camera persepective. So I can stay out of sight, while I itch and stich their flagrunners with my railgun from each and every corner. Same for firebird.. when I know he comes around this corner, I hide, let him pass by, and then roast em from behind. As you have pretty bad brakes and a bad acceleration, it is vital to map your path through the crowd a little in advance. Also with wasp it is very important, to count the seconds for their reload time. Can you make it to the next hideout before they relaod, or will he shot you on your straight run? If time is short, fake an escape and perform a dodge when you know his reaload time is about to end.

with your firefly you make 2k exp. points per hour currently; which grants you fast progress and good income. If you like it, stick to firefly and wait for an M2 kit. You will need the crystals later on

M1 Titan has very good progress on each little microupgrade you invest into it. So the owner (sorry, forgor your name) should check the wikipages (Hulls>Titan>microupgrades) and see for the prices. upgrading it (only to some extend of course) and continue to use it, could be cheaper then buying a new hull instead.

  11. So.. how about making it 5days-within-a-7days-week? This _would_ make players happier.. there are many that simply can not fullfill the 7day cycle, because of real life, family days, religious reasons and so on. So will you take this proposal with you, and discuss it the next time when you guys talk about feedback and features? If you need more precise eaxmples what the problems are.. you can find them in this thread already.

Post here your issues with lags and server instability

Sure it will be an update. If they change something in the code it is usually called update. Seymon wrot that the programmers work on it.. so it will be an update.

  18. I think the jamming period is too long... but I like the principle of the idea. One of the reasons why fighting an Vulcan is so hard, is the constant stream of impact force, that it delivers to it's enemies. If the turret would jam if a certain temperature is reached, then you can place some shots at the Vulcan. But I would keep it jammed only for 1 seconds, then it should start to spin up again (additional second) and then it keeps devestating ;) So maybe just Jam = spin down > spin up > contiune fire
  19. Why did so many participants get agressive here? Balance in my view = there should be no tactic, that assures a sure win.. a counter tactic should be possible. Meaning the Maps, turrets and hulls have to be balanced to serve this idea (and most of them are today). Silence games are usually won by capping one or two flags, and then setting up a shield of Vulcans, Isisdas.. and harvesting sore for the rest of the game. Sure win. Well half the game talks about this _combination_ is overpowered... -- Maps with good cover can be ruled by groups of Isidas, because they are virutally unstoppable if they use cover from time to time. Sure win again. And I do not talk about the damage they deal. I did never say that But while "usual tanks" do wear down over time, packs of Isidas do not wear down. The issue here is, that a pack of Isidas can heal almost every damage that is dealt to them, if they move clever and use cover.

  24. ^ because Isida is actually quite balanced in most cases. It just becomes overpowered if it comes in packs with two other isidas or if it keeps a Vulcan alive. For an instance, if it heals a Twins-Mammuth, the problem is not so massive. Twinnners can't go to the edge of their base and over the whole map with supressive fire -.-
  25. Well overheating causes 30hp damage per second (at max. temperature) - while an Isida can heal 50..65 (about this) per second. + dont forget Isidas reload.. So over the thumb the Isida will be able to cancel out the healting damage.. but most of the other damage dealt to the Vulcan would be effective. I think this idea would help
