Achivements for gifts. You could include achievements attached to th number of gifts received, like you do with goldboxes today. Maybe you need to qualify them into positive and negative gifts.. but maybe not.

I like the idea of slower reload. For the heating(freezing of tanks: As it was explained those days in another topic, freeze, firebird and vulcan effect all the same "temperature parameter" of the target hull. So if a vulcan is at maximum heat, it's temp is at +100% (maximum temperature). Freeze will cool it down to 0%, and if it continues freezeing it reaches -100% (min temperature). The slowing down effect you know from freeze, is attached to the temperature level of the tank. So within temp=0%..+100% the vulcan will not be slowed down, even if it is chilled by freeze.. simply because it has a lots of heat to be taken away first. As soon as the temp drops below 0%, the tank will be slowed down accordingly. But I don't wanna look up now, what is "stronger" or "faster": the vulcans heating rate or the frezeers chilling rate. I just know, that a firebird heats up a target faster, then a freeze can chlil it down (so if both fire the same tank, the firebird will still deal burning damage).

Maybe the stats of Firebird M1 could be moved a little towards M2.. and at the same time the rank for making M1 fire available could be raised as well. By doing so: - fire M1 would not be sooo overpowered when it is relased - fire M1 could compete better in the Leutanand ranks - the existing balance would not be touched just minor

I am very happy Rail.. but I guess a user that has both should answer that. I don't use thunder at all. I can just tell you, that rail opens you the way for XP battles (whole new experience) - but only if you have some 20% rail paint for your hornet M2, like fracture). You can seach youtube for "tanki XP" or "tanki BP" for some ideas, what you can expect there.
-
Your rank is way to high, to think about freeze M2. It will become soon obsolete. Fire M2 is way stronger then Freeze M2.

I dont believe that. It would mean, that the tanki system has to keep not one health value for your tank, but one health value for each paint. What would happen if you are hit by different weapons after another and each health-value shows a different status..??? Follow this idea, and think about the survival time under fire: Armour is just a way to give you time. Time you need to escape or to fight back and eliminate the threat. Time to stay active and score points. So a protection of 50% buys you 100% more _time_, as you can last twice as many shots. A Protection of 30% buys you 42% more time (1/0,70 =1,42) For a light hull this gained time is minimal. A Wasp under fire dies in 1,5..2 seconds without paint, and within 2..3 seconds with 30% protection. Does this one additional second really help you out?? Well.. it helps but it is no gamechanger. For a heavy hull this gained time is huge. Mammuth dies within 5 seconds without paint.. but with paint the enemy has a reload problem, and so you last 10 seconds with 30% paints. This helps a lot to turn your turret and shot him down.. Therefor all those cheap paints below 30% are pretty useless for light hulls except you want to protect yourself from beeing 1shotted by rail, or 2shotted by thunder/hammer (so forrester is an awesome paint for a long time!). And Therefore all those cheap paints can make a difference on a mammuth.

I see. I once did DPS calcs for several weapons and I averaged it out over each weapons "duty cycle".. meaning "time it can shot/fire/... + time to reload". Actually kind of hard, as a firebird deals damage after his duty cycle time is over and he can start to toast again with a full energy bar.. hmm.. -

I see it more like a cooperation, as you have been the one starting this here.. asking for details and digging in.. and also you found the mistakes in my inital versions, that would have been unspotted elsewise :) ps: there was some time when I did Excel for a living.. :p -
it is like you stated it. 30% protection = 30% less damage.

1. You are right, my base damage was wrong. I typed "70p/sec" in my spreadsheet, instead of 72. Reading is still an art for me :P I've changed text and pictures accordingly. 2. what did you apply first: cooling -or- maximum temp cap? I was nosy if a firebird or a freeze kills faster :P Scenario 1: If a freeze blows out it's whole damage within 9sec (9sec x 80HP = 720hp) a firebird can compete reaches only 660hp. But of course firebirds afterburn comes to catch up.. but it takes about 8 seconds to catch up.. Scenario 2: Can firebird catch up faster by giving a second burst? Yes, but Freeze still kills faster: Scenario 3: What happens if both discharge completely, and the continue with some kind of continous fire? (as you drug yourself alive as good as you can) -> Fire delivers more damage now -

so that's waht I have up to now: Firebird M4, fireing from time=0 until time=5 (full energy blasted out) The graph shows the accumulated damage at a given time index. So if you look at time = 5,0 the firebird has dealt a normal damage of 360hp, and on top of that a burning damage of roughly 113hp. The normal damage increases while the firebird is active (time 0,0 .. 5,0) and reaches a accumulated value of 360hp. The burning damage stars with zero and reaches it's max after 2,5seconds (deals 30hp damage per second *1 ). At second 5,0 the firebird stops heating, so the burning damage declines from 30hp/sec down to zero after time index 25. The total accumulated burning damage is 419,5 hp. So in total you end up with: total normal damage per 5 seconds burst: 360hp total burning damage (until temperature drops to zero) again: 419,5 overall total damage: 779,5hp Freeze M4 can deal total of "only" 720hp and has to stay next to it's target for 9 seconds... while the firebird can move out after 5 seconds. Please note that a firebird has regained 20% of its energy after second 6,0 and can sent in a further blast of 70hp+burning, killing the enemy even faster and keeping the temperature up..) *1: temperature maxima detail: -
Isida works better on Viking, as you have more "Health" that can be take from you, while you are still alive... and can go on to another target and "fill up yourself" ;) But in your ranks a Isida M3 without MUs is not much of a burner (if you don't drug). So if you get Isida, you can't compete in XP and you can't compete in normal battles. If you get the hornet, you can compete perfectly in XP, and still not in normal battles. so I guess the Hornet has the bigger impact to your gameplay; so you will have more fun playing.

do you talk about the klls displayed in your profile, or kills counted in a "make x kills" mission? Because I don't know if the profile view of anyone is updated in real time..

Maybe I am wrong, but I think this is not much of an issue. It is like an addition of different functions. But I think it is easier as an interative implementation in a spreadsheet tool, where one cell bases on the cell before -

Ahh... that makes more sense now :) Follow up questions: 1) I assume, the heating-up and the burning-damage are internally calculated at/for each tick. According to my last info (some vLog), the tick length today is 0,25sec (4 times in a second), is that correct? So the heatup per tick would be 0,1/0,25sec and the max. burning damage per tick would also be like 30*0,25 = 7,5hp/0,25sec, have I got this right? 2) It seems to me, that the temperature increasing effect of a firebird is independent of the distance to the target - as long as you are in it's range. Or in other words: you may be at the outmost end of the firebirds range, but the temperture increase and burning damage will kick in at full force. Is observation correct as well? -
what is your ping? (it is displayed in battle in the lower right corner) Play 15min with "bugs" and write the usual values of your ping here (if it is either 30..50, or more like 300..500)

Maybe you should not pull the womans legs B), but simply ask them :P

The M0 wasp you are using might be.. but on wasp M1..M3 it is deadly

I figured this out a few weeks ago acording to the parameters in the wiki (temperature limit, cooling rate..). But somehow this does not work out if I calc the burning time: M1 Firebird: temp limit 0.29; cooling rate 0.032/second; => burning time calculated = 0,29/0,032 = 9,06 seconds burning time in wiki = 5,71 seconds M4 Firebird: temp limit = 1. => Burning time calculated = 1/0,032 = 31,25seconds. Burning time in wiki = 20sec What do I do wrong here? ps: I pm'd you regarding two another balance topics, maybe you find the time to read them -
Freeze M0 is easier then Thunder.. and very effective as well. Thunder is a differet weapon.. differetn game style. Find out what suits you, as both are effective. For close range, You can get Freeze M0.. but actually your rank is very close to Firebird M1 (unlocks earlier then Freeze M1). So you are cheap and powerfull in short range.

Harpoon You shot a harpoon with an attached steel rope towars another tank. - If you hit, you are attached to each other. The rope can extend and has a max lenght or maybe 20 meters. - As long as you keep attached, he looses health at a constant rate (electro shock through the steel rope) - You have two rapid shots, so you can keep two harpoons active. If you are attached to two targets, each receives half the damage - You can pull a tank by the steelrope - or he (they ;) ) can pull you around. If you shot the 3rd time: - the ropes will detach from you, and still connect the two targets you've hit (rope length = 2x 20m = 40m) :) - the targets will not loose health any more, but it is a little nasty.. if you attach the fast wasp-flagrunner to it's heavy viking supporter :P - those ropes detach after 5 seconds - ropes can be burned or froozen (3sec to desintegrate). Isida cant detach them, but heal of course. I like the gameplay that will arise by using this
