    I wonder what happens, if a clan forms 2 battle groups of 4 players each, and when they are ready they start to search for battles. A very likely - but also very unwanted . result could (!) be, that they end up in the same battle, adding by some randoms :P mult 3.0 But let's see what we get. At least, there would be an easy fix to that.

    That's the first song I've ever heard from Disturbed.. and the only one I like. You're right, it makes more and more sense as time goes on. The trouble is real, but the way the video shows us to solve it.. is not. Other ideas? Not many.. but it helps to not fall for all their illusions, like that I need to have this and that, that my life must be like this or that, and that TV shows reality. But solving stuff with violance and anger is just another illusion that leads to very bad things. Anyways - good luck ;)

    Actually I don't miss that song for a single second.. ..but it was a big phenomenon for me, how fast and how hard it took off. I hope that guy saved his money and can live a few years from it :)

    Topic merged Use the tools provided within the topic; there is a whole community of players creating maps for private local use. On the other hand it is not acceptable to let players create their maps and have them play them in public with other players, while earning xp and crystals, as this opens the doors for power leveling.

    definitely agreed. Those high ranked legends should count at least +0.2 per rank (so a gismo is rank 30, a legend1 is rank 31, a legend2..legend6 are treated like a rank 32, and so on). Maybe +0.1 from legend 10 on. Done like that there will be the necessary difference for the matching, and on the other hand a Legend20 player will not be forever alone. And I would like to see a unified battle list for the custom battles. So whereever server I am, I can see all battles that are open for my rank, in one view. There is no fun in moving through out all servers until you find one..

    I just logged in with 2 accounts at the same time; one and one . Then I clicked to join a TDM battle, to see what happen. I noticed that the amount of players in the queue is the same for both accounts of mine, so obviously this is the queue of all players online and waiting at the time beeing. The number was about 280, so if I assume a flat distribution over the ranks, this means that less then 3 tankers per rank were online. After a minute (longest time I've waited today) the generalissimo account found a battle, the rank rank bracked was 4 ranks wide, but one team had almost all the legends, while the other one had mostly all the sub-legend ranks. Same thing as DarkStorm posted before. I left, as I just wanted to check the time. A minute later, the mid-ranked account has still not found a battle. It seems to me that the midranks have way more issues to queue into a rare battle mode (like TDM) if they need it for a mission, then high ranked players do. It would have helped already if the system would have placed a 5vs5 TDM in a midsize map in this case (just to let them play, instad of wait forever). anyways.. time for bed.

    So it seems to collect simmilar ranks already.. but the distribution over the teams needs improvement. If you take half of the red team and replace it by half if the blue team, the balance would be done.

    I do not have the adminstration power to check for your other accounts; the few things I wrote I concluded from your profile. 10 ranks plus is really crap. The rank ranges were a mess in the time before the matchmaking, but it was necessary for the unfamous battle button. But back then the player could at least avoid it (once they were experieced enough to read ranks). Maybe I can take a midranked alt to play it tomorrow, because in all battles I played now I did not face that issue. Maybe their setting that decides what is favoured - waiting time-vs-rankMatch - needs tuning.. because if I think it through technically, a system that collects players from all over the servers should be able to give you a much better match then the battle button could (it was limited to the single server). I've seen that this issue is already in the report.. so they won't miss it.

    @maching by battle efficiency The proposals you quoted were adressed to the dev's (and Hazel knows my propsal). If you like to check it, I described it there (http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=341236&p=5860339 - one long post, and another one a bit down). In short words it meassures how you perform compared to other tanks in the same battle and in the same team. Those is done every time you play - so by this it rates players over time, and you get the possibility to match players by their efficiency in battle. As a suitable choice of weapons (matching the map and enemies) helps you to play more efficient, and as players with M3 usually (!) perform better then players with M2 in the same battle&team, it also solves the equipment issue (better then just ranks). @matching by equipment idk if that works so well.. a player could have an M3 titan as he liked to play shortrange maps, but end up in a map where he has to equip his M2 hornet in order to perform. But as I wrote, I also think that such matchmaking systems work better if the game 1) gives you all the gear you can have as free choice (which will not happen here) 2) or other side you pick your gear and map size first, and get assigned alike. But I guess for the while beeing some kind of "minumum requirement" would help.. If you most powerfull or most used equipment is below some level, you are matched with players of a lower rank. The rank might not be too low.. as this would enable power leveling (imagine you start a new account, get an M0 rail + Wasp, fully MU them and stick to those as only equipment. You would fight people below WO3 all the time, while you whoop their butts with ease..)
