    The speed difference between Wasp and Hornet was small, and the speed did not help you in higher tiers. I would lie if i say that I dont miss the speed.. but what I miss most is the agility = Turning acceleration. If I would have banced those two, I would have made the pre-balance hornet M3 as fast as the pre-balance wasp M3; and I would have taken the M4 stats in terms of speed and agility closer to the M3 stats. Then you have the same speed, while the Hornet has acceleration, dodging and stabilty -vs-drift / the Wasp has cornering agility and precise steering -vs- beeing nimble and delicate to control

    The pause time is a good thing as it puts a little more pressure on the players that truely need a break (nature calls :P). It also helps vs those most basic mults that sit and do nothing. They get killed and their owner has to push a key all 2 minutes now.. the likelyhood that he misses that deadline (while fighting with his the main on the other team) are high and his mult gets dropped earlier. But of course this is the most basic way of multing; every advanced mult user will just smile about change, adjust his script that controls his mult, and be fine.. What would help is a system that rates the players by skill (better then the old skill system pls) and directs you _only_ into battles that match your skill level. And this was what I actually understood as matchmaking system. But of course this would sacrifice a lot of beloved things: I hope that is NOT their plan. Because this would <again> cut away the funny and beloved parts of this game; in order to fix some broken parts (like mults). Just like the last balance did.. the game is way less fun now as wasp (my wasp must have been truely overpowered in mixed battle scenarios, to receive such a nerv in agility..).

    ^ I see it exactly like you.. and I fear it helps not at all regarding mults at the given stage. But to be fair it has some advantages: it is a first stage.. and hopefully more advanced stuff can come later and build on it. Unfortunately we are not told about it yet. I think that the "Battle" button helps starters a lot

    well I guess everyone understands that the Battle Button places the player in a random battle that suits his rank. The question is - if _other_ players can see this random battle via the lobby battle list, and if they can access it -> because this opens up the doors for raiding teams with their mults) - if players that entered the random battle via the [battle] button can invite their friends -> because if they can, they invite their mults

    The hint (not claiming all missions rewards) is usefull for players that can not complete missions each day. You keep finished - but not yet claimed - missions in stock, and use them on days where you cant complete other missions. This in hope that the rewards at the end of the week is more, then the crystal missions you miss in the while beeing.

  10. Yes that freeze was flipped for a pretty short time and the distance was large, so I could not tell for sure. Especially: why should the Smoky shot it's teammate, when it's completely upside down? Could it even hit is with it's rock-the-tank-to-shoot-low if it was truely flipped? Hmm.. But for the professor1234 video I am 100% sure.

    If you rank up higher, and face those nice palyers that join your 60min battle at minute 45, turn it around by drugging you into the ground so that nothing of your team is left.. and in the end you end up with 200 cystals for 1 hour of work.. then you might change your view. I don't join long battles anymore, because I've already learned that lesson the hard way -.- Be carefull when you say "we" while you mean "me and a couple of friends I know".

    Do you even use Zeus (fire, freeze, Smoky) that often? Isn't your Badger T-F M3 (Fire, Freeze, Twins) more usefull on the maps you play? For Clay you can upgrade to have about +10% more protection vs. Rails and vs. Thudners. I think we talked and calculated that Thunder and Rail topic in a former post (maybe regarding another module.. but the values where pretty much alike I think). You can look it up there, because we checked if it helps you to survive another shot. I think it makes maybe sense to get your modules only as far, as you see a benefit by doing so. Beyond that point you can save the rest of your crystals for M3 alternations (will for sure come soon) and for supplies.
  13. I know this glitches where a tanks seems to be somewhere differet / or has a different orientation, then on your friends screen. Thats due to lag and the tank movement prediction our clients have (they predict the enemies movement on our screen until the next location update comes along from the server, telling us his true position, orientation, turret angle, ....) But as far as I know, in those "legal" cases the tank is not steady on his back. He flickers around all the time, as if it would lift one side up slightly, drop again, lift again, drop again... On those flip-hacks videos I've seen, the flipped tank is stadily upside down and does not flicker around = he is truely flipped. And then all out of a sudden he is flipped back. Not much in-between. That professor1234 is def using some sort of fly hack.. thats no lag at all. Maybe he tried to fly+level back.. thats also possible to put yourself upside again.

    Well if in the meanwhile the enemy takes away half your health anyways, then those 5sec become 2,5 seconds... It does not sound like a good deal to me, as long as you have other options to invest in.

    [battle !] or [battle @!xxx***!"] Will the Battle Button place us in a battles, that are accessable by all other tankers through the lobby as well? If yes, it will not help vs mults. Will I be able to invite my friends to the battle, that I enterend through the Battle button? If yes, it will not help vs mults. Will the battle button use the matchmaking system later? Would be very nice if it would..

    I've no model about the heatup and cooldown time of a Vulcan, so I can not give you exact figures. For a quick idea we could look into the values for gradual damage, which tell me - that 45% protection gives you 180% survival time vs. gradual damage.. - while 50% protection gives you 200% survival time vs. gradual damage. So 200 : 180 = ~1,10 = 110% => so you gain 10% more survival time then you have now with your 45% module. How long do you last now, 50sec maybe? It will be 55sec then. Note that the survival time starts (roughly) when your tank is about to heat up. The several seconds free of heating at the beginning of your Vulcans firestorm do not count into it. Once you've found out how much longer you can stand, then the next step is to think of how much damage you can deal in those additional 5 seconds. In theory you can almost kill one unprotected medium hull. But in real live on the battlefield, consider that maybe everyone in your scope is already dead anyways at this moment. You can answer this better then me. This all together gives you an overall idea of the benefit that you gain.
  17. If I switch off the skybox off, the Client offers a BRIGHT WHIITE sky Guys this burns my eyes, honestly.. Try the pic fullscreen if you dont believe it (stand alone flash players has 50% more FPS (60 instead of 40 on my laptop). Something is wrong in the client..)

    Not knowing what you talk about :ph34r: No, without kidding: It will truely help you. Beeing 3shot is a very usefull thing vs rails.. it usually means the difference between live or death -> for the rail -.- While I can stand my ground vs most 2shot enemies more or less, I have real struggles vs. 3shot targets. Live was easier as railgunner when Vikings were 2shot too, and the reload was slightly longer. Therefore my Wasp faster in order to survive during the reload. btw: gratulations on your rankup ;)

    Because I was curious what he says. If you read his posts you for sure have the impression too, that he must be a truely awesome tanker. You tactic is nice; I like the part of tricking them into an attack, instead of beeing caught unprepared :) As I play Wasp/Rail most of the time, I use my camera a lot and it is pretty rare that a Freeze catches me unprepared.. so I usually give them a shot while they are incoming from a forward-def-position. Then I retreat one stage back. Once they come closer I can finish them off. Sometimes they still manage to sneak up (like if I was focused on strugling with two other attackers that just got killed by my team and me; and so the freeze could sneak up). Then I do turn hull and turret in order to place one shot.. but then I can practically stop fighting back. My reload is longer then the time he needs to kill me, as my M3 wasp is weak. edit: especially now as they made is slower and less agile, and the Mediums on Nitro are as fast as a Wasp -.- If I play attack and I am part of an attack party, I just let the medium hulls go in first while I support their kills from an attack support sniping position close their base. The freeze will go in at them; and when he is busy I can get the flag and run. The frezee is one-shot for my by then, so it's not that hard. So overall the most valuable part for me as wasp is to know where the frezee is, without having him know where I am :) If he catches me, I can place only one railshot and the I am done.

    Funny thing is they swapped Hunter and Viking weights already about a year ago.. then everone felt that Viking is far better (which it was, especially as they increased most impact forces and Vulcan could make Hunters spin around). Almost all players preffered Viking over Hunter during this period. Now they swapped it back.. no comment. My highest ranked account is a Legend; but I play the BlackWasp777 account most. What makes you think BlackWasp is my main?

    On my main (Legend) I have a mission to earn XP in DM. As I left the battle, I ended up in earning 209/1000 xp <- in DM !!! (where every kill should be +10xp) So for some reason.. I was not rewarded the full 10 xp per kill.
