It is a fact that the players behind these actions are the noobs, not the turrets themselves. And thunder actually requires more skill than people give credit to. Because of the self damage from splash, I am on my toes (literally), using the hull, the turret, and the camera angles to look for any signs that I am about to be attacked from behind. It's not a shoot at the wall until the target dies turret like many think it is.

I don't see how this alteration would be interesting. It's too similar to smoky. And plus railgun doesn't need more impact force.
-
It's basically the original version of magnum when it was first released into the game.
-
Even better, but first, let's rename the current version of Asl to Attackers VS Defenders (AVD). Next we make CTF, rugby, AVD, juggernaut, and TDM exclusive to pro battles only. Then when only DM and CP are left for MM, we make a new version of ASL that includes one ball, many many control points out in the middle of the map, and 3 flags for each team.

I guess I can give you my input in a few alterations I've used or seen. The stable plasma alteration for twins is basically the old twins before splash damage was added to it by default except for the impact force increase. It's OP because it's cheap for how much impact it can have on the battle, even 50k was to cheap for it. Should be 75k IMO. The duplet alteration for hammer could use a 25% damage nerf. I've encountered cyclone user, and the last thing you'll want to do is engage in a shootout against it, especially if it is trying to lock on to you. It's better to find cover between you and it as fast as possible. Uranium is quite similar to cyclone. The automated gunpowder loading mechanism alteration for magnum was practically the original version of it. No real disadvantages to using it other than it is much harder to lob shots off ledges. But it's really good for long range combat. The reinforced gun carriage alteration for magnum is by far the most interesting alteration I have ever seen, and no it's not because it trades off the vertical rotation for a horizontal one, but because you still have to charge your shots like any other Magnum user. It's one of those turrets that kinda needs practice to get the hang of it. The mortar alteration for magnum can plant mines, and wolverine kinda exaggerates that it's OP. But here's something you can try to avoid those mines. All you need to do is assume that every magnum explosion crater you see hides a mine in it. This can be a case of the old saying "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me".

For the slugger alt for hammer, I still don't see how decreasing the vertical scatter is a good thing, because you lose the vertical auto aim.

I don't give a Damn about the legends. Besides I don't even want to play with legends since its a known fact that they exploit every flaw in the game for their own benefit. Besides thunder still needs an alteration that gives it a damage increase for a different set back, because all other turrets have these kinds of alterations.

I can come up with an idea with a game mode that is better than all the team battle modes combined.
-
I honestly don't like to contribute to spawn killing the other team to oblivion, because it'll just make a lot of other players rage quit. But I'll only do it if I feel that it is the only way to be safe from being spawn killed.
-
Because with stability, you can actually hit things. Where as the speed just makes you only a tiny bit faster.
-
CP battle spawn killing happens less than all the other team battle modes. And I think it's probably because some maps there is a lot of points to capture, where as in the other modes, there is only cap flags, score goals, or just kill. Which isn't a whole lot of things to do.
-
Thunder needs at least one good alteration because all the other turrets got some nice alterations. And no, sledgehammer alt isn't good because at m4 your range will be down to 10 to 15 m or 2 to 3 props length.
-
So you want them to come up to you and deliberately give you a free kill? Well that's a first.

Merry xmas everyone. Here are some awesome Xmas songs you can listen to. :) trans-Siberian orchestra: Christmas eve/Sarajevo trans-Siberian orchestra: wizards in winter

What?
-
Or chasing other people all over the map with firebird.
-
It really doesn't matter how they are spawn killing the other team, it still happens nonetheless.
-
Magnum alteration: - damage is cut in half but also so is reload time. Thunder alteration: - damage is doubled but also so is reload time. Hammer alteration: - bounce ability is removed but the ability to pierce through multiple targets with one shot is added. Railgun alteration: - ability to bounce shots off props 3 times is added, but 50% of the piercing ability is lost. Shaft alteration: - splash damage is added, but so is self damage and the lost of 10% of the overall damage.
-
How is rugby ok? It's practically a reverse version of ctf, except with only one ball and it drops out of the sky.
-
833 and 1687. Without any protections, those m3 hulls don't stand a chance against even one shot.
-
Now we just need to make juggernaut, Asl, rugby exclusive to pro battles and wait times will shorten a bit.
-
So you do admit that you like using OP equipment and smash others that don't use the same thing as you are using.
-
I think you got it all backwards. Besides you can just get hammer protection and that alone will solve your duplex nightmare. But firebird will just cut through even 50% protections against it like hot knife on butter. Not to mention that smoky, Vulcan, and hammer also have fire alterations.

Nothing can hold a candle to compact fuel tanks TBH.

Maybe for some players all the sounds in the battle are a lot of information to process. No I'm not calling those players stupid. I'm just saying that some just want to play the game and blow things up without needing to worry about who's near them or what's shooting at them. It just depends on the player.
