Let's talk about some "alarming" aspects of the game...

Haha, yeah maybe my initial expression was a bit unclear, but I'm glad i got the point accross on the second try ?

Let's talk about some "alarming" aspects of the game...

No, not smart people with good tanks, rather smart people with op tanks against worse gear. When a skilled player has a tank with a 1-4k higher gear score than anyone else in the game he will make the game miserable for the others. Now is that his fault? NO that's tanki mechanics allowing such things... That's like the equivalant of a good chess player being given an extra queen, no newbie or intermediate should ever have to play against that. Now to address your planning point. 1st of all The example account of mine i gave was extremely planned, i thought alot about getting xp as early as i could, I never touched my wasp, i bought thunder and hammer for their parkour properties. All my planning was in vain and there was no way to predict that. Similar things have happened to me when I've invested in "strong gear" that later got nerfed. And that's not really even my problem. Why can't the game allow a newer player to progress without a huge commitment to go figure out all the tanki mechanics effecting crystals, gear, saving... waiting years for sales and grinding endlessly to achieve high crystals/xp ratio. In general it's a no-fun aspect of the game that imo shouldn't be the norm for getting an enjoyable experience, where you're not outgeared 3 to 1. There is an alternative: a game where the focus is placed on balance. And ultimately even though the game can be enjoyed in it's current chaotic form, it does harbour endless amounts of frustration with the balance and imo has harmed the playerbase long term.

Let's talk about some "alarming" aspects of the game...

I mean as you said yourself, you got blessed. And then you're suggesting others to "get their act together". I've had a number of accounts and have been on both sides of the fence, at one point having a colonel account with a m4 isida and thunder. And now with my main being unable to even play xp since i wasn't there to buy mu's for my rail and hornet when they flipped to the mk system... So now I have a xp focused account that only has good parkour gear (except they fattened my wasp) and some miscallanious mk6-5 gear that was just a few mus away from being flipped to mk7. Not that i really care about the above mentioned account. I still have good accounts to play with and got a ridicoulously lucky 300k container on my wo3... All I'm saying is getting that good tank is really all about luck and timing and often stupid amounts of potentially useless grind and planning. And while i do still agree with you on skill being able to overwrite a 1 to 2k gs difference in the right circumstances, there are also very skilled players with ridiculous gs and there in lies the problem. After being on a hiatus myself for a year and some, and now returning back to the game I see what you're frustrated about. And i think there is an underlying problem not addressed here: the reason people have silly amounts of gs at most ranks is due to the conversion. (ranks close to legend being the exception, since some legend accounts are either ancient and have exploited every balance shift so far or just buy alot) And the bigger overall issue being the CONSTANT tweaking and conversion of the game balance without a decisive goal. (And again at legend ranks so many other things as well). After I've joined the game i feel like I've seen every turret and hull be decisively op at one point or the other, drugs being cheapened and made more expensive, people being given op gear from unbalanced kits, conversions, containers and whatnot. It truly does look like tanki has no roadmap about balance and is either being purposfully manipulative, painfully reactive or just proritazing everything over balance. Now all that being said I still occasionally like to play. After doing more adventure/strategy based games for some time now the chaos of tanki can be rather entertaining. But what I can say is for a player looking to progress and win, this game is hell... I'd say just embrace the mess, play juggernaut and tdm. Ctf, rugby, cp and asl are really pointless since the opposing team can just power through the initiative. Whereas in tdm you can just kinda play for yourself, since there are no initiative points and you can get a decent score in the losing team. Juggernaut games can be pure chaos based on who gets chosen. Or you can play xp if you really wanna go boring and balanced.. or do parkour or something. As long as I've been playing the game has never reached a consistently balanced gameplay in the normal games. Back then it was long battles being invaded by clans with mults and short battles having either one team with a 1-3 player advantage. Now it's individual tanks being completely untouchable with their full module garage, drones, drugs and unobtainable op gear, or strong, well co-ordinated battle groups.

Is it ethical for TO to hype a pandemic?

Agreed with the op. The games creative choises hardly have the power to downplay a global virus effectively and the developers are not in a place to exploit anyone without their consent in a free to play game. Without manipulative behaviour anyways, which i hardly think the corona related events, bundles etc. are... constant power meta shifts and some of the weard shop pricing they do being a topic of it's own. I must say I was quite surprised by the tastelessness though, generally i like alot of the creative and artistic choises of the tanki team. They do have a history of basing events on global trends like movies, competitions etc. I just figured they'd choose good taste over trying to be trendy.

DIAMONDD LIIIFE LOVAA BOIII Under there in the spoiler is a big bunch of stuff. I know that music dumps can be rather hard to digest, since a great relationship with a song or a genre usually requires quite some time to build. I've tried to trim it down to the songs I feel have good appeal outside of just being personally dear to me. Although this isn't the most active of all music forums I do hope this post won't go completely under the radar. Sharing and learning of new music has always been a very enriching activity for me. And even though I post quite infrequently on this forum, I still feel a of an obligation to atleast put the music I enjoy the most out the, for all the times I've been turned onto new music that I've grown to love.

    im lonely

In my experience loneliness is a manifestation of feeling like you don't belong anywhere. A sort of an identity crisis as it were. If you're in social situations with your parents and friends you don't really care for, take space from them. And i'm not talking emotional space, but physically put yourself in different places. These sort of situations hold you back from reforming an identity, It's like putting yourself in front of a box of chocolates every day when you're trying to diet, eventually, you'll just give into habitual behavior. You can try to spend one-on-one time with friends to try forming less socially charged and more personal connections, however, this doesn't work with everyone, some like remaining fairly closed even alone. You like music, great go for walks, cycling etc. with headphones. These sort of habits require barely any arranging, automatically give you space. I'd especially recommend visiting places you haven't previously been at, or maybe places you have fond memories of in order to spark up some emotion and get you further out of your normal thoughts. Once you have some personal space/relationships you can truly think of what matters to you. Don't give up if you can't find those things immediadely, they're often way less obvious than you'd think. But once you can direct more of your thoughts and actions towards them the feeling of belonging and fulfillment will also come. Also for a music recommendation, I'd give Buzzcut Season by Lorde, "I live in a hologram with you" stuck with me for a long time. In the end, when we close our eyes and block our ears it's just us alone, but that is no reason to feel lonely :)
