  1. Sounds like Hazel was referring to this update in the first stream a month ago. Did he really expect that drones and P2W stuff of this size will get positive feedback and that people are eagerly waiting for this? I used to think that they can estimate players' reactions.

  3. I wonder for how long Tanki had those 140k or 120k numbers... People always seem to look back as it was a normal and constant condition back then, but in general player counts in games are always on the move, either it's growing or declining.

    Wow a big change in the funds distribution :o If there is still a continue button, in my opinion it should depend on what you clicked on when you entered the matchmaking battles. So if you clicked on CTF, the continue button should only bring you to CTF battles and if you selected "Quick battle", it should draw a battle of a random team game mode.

  6. Maybe this answer from an older Vlog can help. To be honest I don't get what you want to convey with this note. Imho this sentence can also be understand in that way, that it says 'if you have more upgrades, then you get more batteries'.
  7. Ah thanks for highlighting Vlog 161 too. In Vlog 157 they kind of pre-announced that there will be a special (= native) app for mobiles.
  8. Devs had to dismantle various parts in the game in order to make room for Matchmaking. This cutting back is perceived very negatively by the players. Matchmaking & Mobile is located at the center and it's the foundation for the upcoming changes and the rebuilding of the game. With cutting back I specifically mean: mission update, battle creation, battle length, map diversity reduction and equalizing fund generation, delayed equipment balancing, removal of locale-specific battles.

    I hope that the devs put the battles of all pro battles into one list again, a while after MM is introduced. There are so few people playing other modes than CTF... And a filter for other stuff like filtering parkour or XP/BP in list is needed as well.
  13. Ah ok, I misunderstood. Well you can aggregate it and calculate the one skill number separately from the MM and secondly I thought of it more as some brainstormed ideas, so that not all need to be considered.
  14. Yes, it will be handled via a rating (but not by the efficiency rating). Yet I don't see, that there is no possibility left to take equipment into account. One could take it as a weighting factor on top of the other statistics. I.e. you could weight the strength of the current combo with the highest weight. take the levels of other equipment in the garage into account as well but with less weight. give more weight to those guns/hulls that were played longer or consider that guns with M3 as more likely to be used as M0es because deliberate multing ideally shouldn't be happening (or treated otherwise) make the weight dependent on xp per hour for each gun/hull give a higher rating if the player has more choices on the highest m level uprate those bought guns in the garage that tends to have a better performance in the resp. map If there is a will, there is a way ;)
  15. From where did you get the info about less options in custom battles than today? I only know that pro battles won't get more customizations. I am not so sure about the equipment aspect. Vlog 143 talked about the balanced distribution, but it was not as clear about it as I had it in my mind. I agree. Also the change lets it look like that the intended main termination of a battle should be by 5/5/50 and not by reaching the maximum time of 10 minutes. My main hope for the matchmaking is that there will be a mechanism, which let's you adapt your equipment to the random map you entered at the start of a battle.

    Yep, it is. I started with MUing multiple items once around a year ago as the main method to microupgrade, when the prices for MUs were slashed. Today I triggered the 20th MU for the remaining 6 hulls and turrets that were not full M4 yet :)
  17. In case one is doing nothing (no kills, caps, etc.) then the Overdrive charges now around 40 sec. faster, making it to 4 min. and 50 sec. So in a full 10 min. battle, it is guaranteed that you can activate it twice. Has anybody noticed changes regarding the activity bonus for the Overdrive? If yes, you can compare them to the original numbers in @Viking4s' awesome Overdrive analysis ;)

Well you get the rewards in smaller chunks and you don't need to stay in a longer battle if only a small amount is missing, so it's kinda how Thunder's M2 alteration works ;) It makes the fulfillment of the crystal missions more like the ones of the experience missions. To the update: Imho halving the winning score is more of a problem than the 10 min duration.
  19. Shouldn't players get some time to be able to finish their started super missions? I doubt that the average player will handle those within 3 months.

    Maybe you guys could explain somewhere in the Wiki that modules do protect you from self-damage when you have a module equipped with a protection vs your equipped gun. I know it's kinda logical, but I think it would be good to hint people on this and confirm it. Here are some statements on it too: 1st and 2nd
