    Is it just me or is the time till you spawn really longer? Maybe it's just a perception thing, but I had the feeling that the spawning takes longer after the update.

    What should I buy? I currently have Thunder M3 with 25/50 and have the options to buy 1) Thunder's alteration 2) Twins M3 and pretty soon after that the alteration 3) Fire M3 and later the alteration My main tank is Wiking M3.

    Wow that gets even worse. Thanks a lot for your post. Indeed I had difficulties to recognize the phases of max./min./weak. damages and ranges, when I was experimenting with Smoky's critical. So is it like that , that there is a slight curve between the own tank position and the range of "maximum" damage and a strong curve between the ranges of "maximum" damage and minimum damage? It would be appreciated if we get some updated data into the wikis... It seems that the damage counter and not the wiki is the deciding measure.

    Here is a graphic to show people the principles on which the basic damage parameters work. This can be applied on most of the weapons. In case a weapon deals no weak damage, then they will have a maximum range circle and at the end of the circle you deal the minimum damage.

    Yeah the wasp/hornet are a really good example. If the splash would be added on the hit tank, then it would need to show another figure (so hitting 2 tanks would let you show 3 numbers) and if it was like that then damage differences would be much higher. However, one of the systems seem to be incorrect, either the damage counter or the garage/wiki.

    Yeah this video and my game experience with Thunder irritate me. I have never got my maximum damage (940) in damage counter ingame, the highest value I got was 864 I think. So I want to know what the real max. damage is, before I invest anything in Thunder again.

    It would be cool if it was so, but the figures were in white and not in red, so he didn't die from them. Also my Thunder's max. dmg. is 940 and I don't think I have ever seen a damage counter over 900 without having DD. Btw it's nice that Smoky's critical shot damage counter appear in yellow instead of white color.

    Maybe on cost of all the impact force :lol: What I don't understand is why I sometimes see damage counters that are way below my minimum damage and are also clearly not the weak damage of my Smoky. It appears to me that the counters and the wiki parameter are not fully aligned, which might also be the reason why for the "Truth about Thunder" Video in the other thread.

    The strong freeze effect was also a surprise for me, because I experienced it different in the test server. I played a bit around with my Smoky M1 battle and compared the yellow highlighted critical shot numbers with the white normal shots and I am pretty sure, that the weak damage of the critical shot is at 10 % as well (referring to critical damage). It's kind of tedious to test this on a broad basis... but I'd think that the critical shot has the same ranges and gradations as the normal shot (max./min./weak dmg.). What I find a bit irritating, is that the Devs. made it this way that the displayed damage counter varies from shot to shot (probably varies up to 10 damage after new system), which cannot be explained by range, since it also varies within the max. damage range (I guess this is applied for all the weapons). I assume they made it like this, so that the shots do not look so standardized and a bit more "realistic". Anyway there is a huge damage difference between the minimum damage and the weak damage at Smoky.

    People complain, about this or that weapon is OP. In fact, in general they are. But the bigger problem is that TO gives us no guarantee, that these weapons will stay like this. It's stupid but you can accept, that a TO "balance update" kills some OP weapons and make other weapons OP. But you cannot be sure of "raids" to the weapon you invested in.

    The Alterations were changed a bit. positive + Vulcan's Auto-aim reduction is less strong by 10% change, so -50% now + Shaft's max. damage improved by 5% to +30% + Isida's range cutdown reduced by 10%, so it's -30% now. + Smoky's impact force improved by 3% to +30% + Twins & Rico slower reloading time improved by 5%, so it's only +20% reloading time. negative - Thunder's damage (min.&max.) is 5% further reduced to -20% neutral Railgun's change is different. New standard railgun's max. dmg. is about twice the min. damage. Its old alteration narrowed the difference, but with still 40 % difference between min. and max. dmg. Railgun's new alteration dissolves the difference between min. and max. dmg. completely (just 4% on M0 till 0% difference on M4). There were no changes for Hammer, Freeze and Fire.

    Seems legit. Though I assumed it is significantly reduced the farther you are away from the impact point and it isn't applied on the direct hit tank... But this doesn't sound convincing. The consequence is then it is pretty sure that the naming of "Splash damage" in the Thunder parameter table is incorrect, because it is probably only an impact force parameter. It appears to me that the splash damage is 100% at the impact point = Normal dmg. of Thunder at a certain distance (max./min./weak dmg.), and with a further damage decline within 12 m around the impact. So theoretically not a direct hit but a splash hit with 0 m distance from impact point by a thunder shot within its max. dmg. range is equal its normal max.damage. Anyway to get back to Smoky, the Smoky's combined weak damage of 4/5 weak standard shots and 1/5 critical shots (without distance decline) is at 29,3% for all M levels (referring to Smoky's max. damage). Also since the critical shot has been strongly nerfed, the Smoky alteration won't be as bad as it looked at first, when compared to the standard.

    Here is an updated table, in which I added the weak damages (criticals with no distance decline) and also splash damages. I assumed, that the thunder alteration does not reduce the splash damage as well.

    Good thoughts! Do you know what the entry Impact Force of splash for thunder means, is it only an impact force of the splash or is it the splash damage or is both kind of the same??

    I took post-update values for this. Anyway, I like Thunky more than Smonder :D Which Smoky M2 DPS were you talking about, was it minimum or maximum, that was 16% higher than Thunder's DPS? Very much appreciated, thank you!

    That weak damage is applied for shots hitting beyond the minimum damage range and is 50 % of the maximum damage, right? The wiki page just talks about "normal damage", whatsoever this is.

    I think I have seen a hint somewhere in the forum, that said something about the critical shot and distances, but I forgot where... I have been thinking the same that splash is just collateral damage of tanks nearby.
