RRE Striker/Crusader/Hyperion
-
I've thought about it a little more, and if I were the one calling the shots, I'd keep the icons for the turret and augments, but remove the one for the hull and list the drone being used instead.

Redesigned icons: I'm sure I'll acclimate, but I'm not gonna lie, it's pretty annoying to have to relearn them. The big issue are the icons for turrets. The lack of color-coding isn't practical for quick checks in the heat of battle, especially when a lot of them are pretty generic (looking at you, Hammer) and hard to differentiate. New Tab menu: Hidden module list: Definitely the elephant in the room. I'm actually not too bothered by this (at least compared to other things). Most of the info on the old module list was just fluff that wasn't really relevant. I'm already forming a routine where I join a battle, check the bottom list to see how many people are protected against my turret, and then skimming through the enemy team to see who those players are. On the other hand though, you could see whether or not someone was protected just by encountering them in battle, so I dunno. Total amount of modules in play (bottom list): This would be a pretty useful feature, but as I said earlier, it's pretty hard to differentiate the module types. To see how many Armadillo users there are, I have to scan through the list (Because that module isn't highlighted anymore, for... some reason) which takes time, because there isn't any color-coding (Armadillo is also in a really random spot. It's somewhere towards the middle instead of at the beginning, like in the garage, or at the end, like in the actual module list) Just as an idea, I think it'd be pretty helpful to still include turrets without protected enemies (Isida moment) but with an icon that's grayed out. All tank components (turret, hull, augments) listed: I don't know how useful it is to list the hull being used. The turret being listed is a good idea, on paper (Scanning to see what modules I should use takes a little more time than it should because again, the new icons/lack of color-coding are still throwing me off) At least I can say one positive thing, it's better than Flash's Tab menu by a long shot. All you got back then was to see if they were protected against you and that was it. Everything else (GS, augments) relied on your proximity and using the R/V keys so you were gauging your enemy's power right at the last second.

I have this same problem, I don't know what's going on but the browser version doesn't have this problem so I've been using that instead.

Maybe adjust your screen's brightness? When my laptop's plugged in I usually have the brightness pretty high (except for at night) and I can see pretty well. Of course, any trouble with visibility goes both ways. If you're having problems seeing, then there are definitely enemies with the same issue so there isn't a huge disadvantage.

The new Striker is atrocious. The new splash distribution cuts down on my damage output WAY more than is necessary and leads me to 1) be a sitting duck in a lot of situations, like dynamic fights (ESPECIALLY if the other person has a fast-moving hull, a drone like Defender or Trickster, a high-level Orka module, or any combination of these), and 2) get more kills stolen. Since Remote Rocket Explosives (my augment of choice) relies a lot on splash damage, this is an indirect but pretty harsh nerf to an augment that was in a great spot balance-wise. (This augment takes a lot of practice to use well, and the gameplay that's 99% of the time based on arcades for an augment that's basically stock means there's a lot of stolen kills also just as an aside, this augment *could* have a slight arcade reload buff but idk if that's a good idea lol) With RRE a shell of its former self, I gave Uranium a try but it felt pretty awkward. I'm not really used to the slower projectiles and missing a shot still gave me the same splash damage issues with the added bonus of no damage at all if the rocket continues to fly off into the distance. Sure, I could give Uranium some more practice, but the fact remains that Striker is now bottom-tier and I just flat-out like RRE a lot more than Uranium. Then there's still the problem with Striker's aiming being bugged where the target acquisition randomly resets. So yeah, salvos are unreliable and arcades are pitiful. Striker was my favorite turret, but it's really bad right now, and I really think I'm done with it until something changes.

The garage isn't working in English, for some reason. Change the game's language to something else and it'll work.

I was going to make a post, but when I hit submit the game threw up an error and sent it to the ether. Don’t feel like recreating it completely, so… Striker splash changes: How does this affect me as a Remote Rocket Explosives user? Am I supposed to interpret this as a rework in damage distribution and not a reduction in splash radius? Helios nerf: RIP BOZO #PACKWATCH Magnum/Striker projectile edits: Good change, but the real projectiles in need of a rework are Vulcan and Scorpion. Those absolutely KILL my FPS and are more common. Vacuum Shells crit reversal: So is this a subtle nerf? As we all know, crits are treated as a direct hit so this’ll lead to less of a damage boost.

Players purchasing bots from third party sources to sabotage MM making it unfair
Okami replied to Brandorrrr in Game Discussion
Are there noobs? Yes. But that doesn't make them bots, and there definitely isn't a conspiracy to ruin battles. I don't know if that's even easily possible, and like Maf said, it isn't worth the trouble for a few thousand crystals. FWIW though, you do see battles that have Parkour fights get filled with low-rank click accounts in order to take up space and prevent randoms from joining. Those aren't bots though, they're just alt accounts that you can get to the minimum rank for PRO Battles pretty quickly. -
ngl I wish people could buy this more than once. The test tube packs you can get for crystals aren't as good of a value, and I'm pretty short on crystals thanks to the sales.

Maybe you have to wait for the next turn to start? I’m not sure.

I opened Hornet Ultra and Viking GT from the Skin Containers. Am I disappointed I didn’t get Hunter Ultra? Sure, but the other two make up for it. Hornet Ultra is another skin that’s high up on my wishlist (probably only second to Hunter Ultra) and Viking GT actually looks good in-game, with a turret on it. So far I’ve only played one battle with one augment (Twins Pulsar), but I can definitely say it’s extremely strong which is to be expected from a Pulsar augment. I think Jammer Smoky is the one I’m most excited to try, because Jammer augments make Crisis/Miner/Defender/Booster/Trickster users and nuke spammers to suffer and that’s a lot of fun.

Yes, it would. Also a tip for the future, you can google "(time) UTC" and it'll show what that would be for your local time:
-
These takes are probably going to be so hot that it'll look like they came from the surface of the sun, but I'm going to miss Autocannon having the title for Biggest Meme Augment. It'd be pretty funny if the game had more obviously-bad augments, just for fun (or a challenge for players to do as well as they can with a weak augment)

Low-effort skin moment ? If you put the White paint on, it's pretty much the exact same as HD except for a few black lines.

I get invited to groups from time to time, but it's never the people I'm closest friends with (time zones ?, I'm from the United States which is pretty far from my clanmates) and I always get invited in the middle of a battle. This second point is annoying, I would join a group but invites never come at a good time as I don't want to abandon a battle I'm already playing in. I'd love for at least one of these features to be added: The ability to delay joining a group for after the battle, the ability to send requests to join a group, the ability to attach a message with a declined invitation.

As for the spacing of the bundles, I honestly have no idea. Maybe the biggest ones are to corner the hugest spenders, I dunno. I agree that it seems weird. Do you already buy the Daily Tankoin Pass? You can get 5000 Tankoins for $20.99 (albeit spaced out over 30 days) which is a better value.

Go to the Battle tab of the settings. You'll be able to toggle the HUD's structure with this option:

I've found that the loss-of-target-acquisition bug is not specific to Cyclone, nor with Hopper. I always use RRE with Striker and play with mouse controls and this bug happens to me. I use Crusader so I'll try a different hull and see if I still get the issue (it could be exclusive to hover hulls)

Which one's correct?

Most of the changes I can tolerate, but the game notifications (Player has taken the enemy flag, Allies have captured Point A, etc.) are in a really bad spot, as they sometimes block my field of view. Maybe it's because they're a little too low (there's a little too much empty space between it and the timer), but I'd love for those notifications to be moved somewhere else. The top-left corner where they were originally is a perfect spot in my opinion, they're noticeable enough to get placed basically anywhere but not urgent enough to be looking at them at all times (at least in a mode like Control Points) Those two are the most egregious examples, but here are a few more:

I feel like the Token of Apology skewed this info. You have all of these people logging in to accounts they rarely use, or some people even making new accounts so they can collect the gifts. Even if it's for strictly new accounts, the tutorial missions have a huge effect on this. Of course you're going to open a container that you got for finishing a battle in, say, Capture The Flag before going to your garage because newbies have empty garages (read: no reason to go there) and you get turrets and hulls out of Containers. Maybe having the Container page at the top of the list is good for beginners, but it really doesn't make sense (like yellowghetto said, the garage is more important) and it's a nuisance for anyone who's spent time in the game prior to this change. Countless times already I've opened the Container page when I wanted to change equipment (and vice versa) because of muscle memory.

It’s literally for one day. Also, Black Friday’s never been an event, just a gimmicky sale.
