The mushroom is from the Hull Wasp's Overdrive also known as the N2-Bomb (see here about the overdrives from the different hull Beginners' Guide to Drones and wiki page). The Gauss turret do not produces the mushroom, it is more like a thunder turret with large splash damage.

Don't expect too much of a decrease, because only the turret his potentially cheaper, the other component of the kit still contribute to the overall cost: paint hull and protection module. For example if the turret cost contribute to 25% of the cost of the kit, and if it becomes half price with the new Mk modification, the 50% will only decrease the overall kit by 12.5%. => 100k becomes 87.5k.

The devs are changing the Modification level of the Turret, from 4 Ms to 7 Mks: This directly affect the Kit products combination. The kit products that we currently know are most likely to be modified especially the rank unlock to reflect the changes with the MK system. One can assume that this is a big task that takes time. Once new kit product back, be prepared to find out that the kit you were looking for to be no longer available, or different from what you remember, probably cheaper (when turret downgraded) or same price....

Savage kit is awesome, fast and punchy, good for Flags and CP. Then you can mix it with a railgun.

I have some workaround for some of the font size issue. As it is all on HTML5 you can change the font size via the zoom (mouse + wheel / or Ctrl + / - ).Or go on the settings chrome://settings/fonts appearance > font size / customise fonts I have 16 (size) / Medium (recommended). On the settings, if you change the "size" it will affect the size of certain characters (almost all the garage text). Unfortunately it did not affect the size of the Nickname above the tanks. To change "Time New Romans" for a better one such as Arial, go to customise fonts. It did change the font thought. Open your garage and play with chrome://settings/fonts until you are happy.
