I assumed there'd be some MU sales. But as there have already been several this year I guess it is not surprising there isn't one this week. NP I am ahead of schedule on MUs anyway and the last few sales have made me poor. :) Get a grip on reality. The event was delayed out of respect for a tragic fire. The delay was not to add swag to this event. Show some respect please. Because the Pro system can be used to exploit the 5x drop rate would be my guess. The core of the game is the non-Pro section. TO has been making this clear now for over a year.

Yeh that is a pretty good idea. One more report.

Just left the game entirely because the one open game available for my mission was full of mults, saboteurs, and simpletons. I leave the game with the meter pointing to the 'annoyed' side of the scale more often than the 'woo-hoo' side. Matchmaking better work or this game is dead. Finding a good game is like the old needle in the haystack.

I should have said "unless you are a really really good at it" ... blah blah. And not everyone I see going for GBS can be really really good at it. 20 people cannot catch 1 GB half the time they try, each. But you see 20 people try. I just do not see why in a tank battle game so many players seem like they'd rather be playing Mario Bros. You don't see tank battle breaking out in the middle of Donkey Kong.

Good call. I think we have a winner. Well spoofed Lt Nine. And plenty of wit in the replies too. hehe

All my accounts except my lowest ranked have at least one module choice against every turrets. I agree with you on that. LW the account has two anti-Twins modules at or almost 45%. I got the 2nd when I added my 6th 3x module; I needed Vulcan protection. I was happy to get one w/Twins also. You see Twins on the enemy side almost every battle. They aren't that common because they are UP. The longer-range alteration for Twins and Rico should come at a cost of dramatically lower impact force. Then those two would come back into the group of 'mostly balanced' turrets. There are a few problems with tracking solo shots. #1 is, you might know what tank you are looking at on your screen but how does the game software know which one to home in on? But more importantly is you use unguided shots to hit terrain as often as you aim for enemy tanks themselves. Tracking spoils aiming for terrain. Force yoyourself to shoot a long range. I was hitting from one end of Osa to the other (RGB goal to goal) and hitting 80%-90%. The enemies were milling around their goal mostly, but they were not stock still. It takes a lot or repetition but you start learning tricks. In short use your hull to help land shots. e.g. you do not have to turn your turret for long range to account for the alternating sides. Fire right, back up some, fire left. return to original spot, fire right. The missiles land on the same spot. Try it out.

This mode exists pretty much just to feed Magnums with easy clustered targets. I have a 100 exp in ASL missions. Played blue on a Year 2024 map. 4 magnums on red just pouring down shells on the home base. I killed a few died a few times... but let's get to the bottome line: This is just plan BORING GAMEPLAY. I do not play games for the primary purpose of serving as targets for another player. Even though this mission is worth several thousand Cry and I am low on finds for the upcoming sale I might just Change out of it. Magnum is making tour game BORING TO but you will not do anything about that will you? ASL mode just spotlights the problem.. ----------edit----------------- Yep. Cashed out a lucrative 3000 Cry reward rather than grind out 1000 exp in one of the 4-5 available, lopsided ASL battles and having no fun. Got a non-lucrative 10 supplies reward in exchange. Still figured I made the right move. Warning signs TO: players who enjoy their game do not blow off in-game earnings. Anyone paying the slightest attention?

Well if you include modules in with the m2s (and why wouldn't you) then I agree.. But a 2nd hull or turret m2 at Colonel?: Maybe yes or maybe no. OTOH Accounts growing up today under the weekly container rewards will have much greater income m0-m2 ranks than my accounts did. So multiples might be more viable these days.

Your "point" is this: Out of millions of TO games played you know of one is which a striker got over 30 kills in one game. Therefore Striker is very powerful. SMH. This comment is utterly meaningless. No one has tried to claim it is impossible to kill enemy tanks with Striker. That is the only thing your comment refutes. I've gotten 30+ and 40+ kills with striker before. I've gotten that many kills with all five turrets I use regularly. If I used all 13 regularly I could make that claim about all 13. RNGsus! Brilliant! LOL and I am stealing this one. hahaha There is something to this comment. I'd guess good-team synergy aids Strikers a bit more than it aids most other turrets. ---- I play Striker every day and false modesty aside I am pretty good at it. I have many games where I am a great burden to the enemy team. But there is no getting around the facts. The striker turret has the least amount of computerized 'gunner assistance' in aiming, Both horizontal and vertical aiming must be precisely controlled by eye. It has two attack modes to learn. Choose wisely or suffer. The fact this turret is in the same game as, say. Twins is quite remarkable. Striker takes hundreds or hours to master. Twins takes a brick. Yet they are really the same weapon with different projectile speeds, firing rates, and visual effects. One is easy to use well. The other not so much. Since Striker has so little automated assistance as compared to the other 13 turrets most players gravitate to the easier 13 to use accurately. Sure, striker players can improve their manual aiming. But the same player could spend that time to learn a different turret. Their manual aim improves and they still get the automated advantages. Strikers lack of aiming assistance nver goes away entirely no matter how good the striker player gets.

Hmm. I see it almost always. Twins has two m1 alterations at 50k each that is cheaper than turrets with an m1 and an m2 alteration. Yes you can activate both the m1 and m2 alts at the same time.

Gold Boxes are bonuses not something to build one's development strategy around. I am a free to play player. GB income from the map has amounted to about 1% of my overall income. I own the best gear I can buy for my level... main account and alts. Smart players ignore GBs unless they happen to drop near them. And now when that happens, you might actually get it. Every complain on these lines ignores the flip side of the coin: If a GB drops on your side of the map, you will not have to worry about the tanks far away. The new system is fair for everyone. You participate in the Containers project yet you still think TO is "cutting back" on player income? How can you possible write these words? You know how profitable the containers are compared to just 1 year ago. Please stop putting out incorrect information on how Container odds work. Your statement here on Paints is simply wrong. Not to mention off-topiic. What does your large Paint collection have to do with GB drop times? Nothing.

101.01% in favor of the change.

Isida healing isida means no one else is getting healed and no enemies are getting damaged. Does the tactic work at times? Yes. Does it fail at times? Yes.
-
I understand. I've given up on Striker a couple times myself. I must have learned something in the last two months though as recently I have been much more consistent with it. It does powerful damage the issue is "just" getting those hits to land.

This was a very nice article written with just the right amount of tongue in the cheek.

I rock my hull an almost every shot not just when the target is on different levels. I rock my hull when my turret is forward and when it is to the side. The ricking still has an effect. Tiny differences in the initial vertical launch mean hit or miss ar a range fo 200+, The only time I need to point the turret directly ahead is when I have to rock a very high shot with tian. e.g. from the ground to the top level of Smolensk. With Hornet I can rock it much higher. Funny to watch your undying obsession to "prove" an inability to use turret rotation is a Good Thing. To use Striker you have to use the entire tank to aim. You should not lecture on topics you do not know. I would be using single shots in that situation, I figure. But I cannot say 100% either way from a 3 second gif with a narrow view of the battlefield. Salvo or single was not the issue. Missing was the issue. On day a switch will flip and Splatterpoint will be making those shots instinctively. If you stick with it you will reach a series for "aha!" moments. Force yourself to try to hit small targets at long ranges. Drive in reverse just a smidge as you shoot and you will shoot low... good for aiming at treads or at tanks on lower levels. Just keep at ti and challenge yourself. If you do have a titan parked in the garage I'd like yto hear how you think it compares t Viking.

They are both m1 alterations. You cannot use two m1 alterations at the same time.
-
IIRC if you use the no-splash alteration you cannot use teh longer range with speedy projectiles alteration. Since that alt makes Twins OP people generally put up with the splash self damage. Just build your module collection around Twins + 2 modules.

Programming nightmare. This Very St***d Idea is going nowhere. Thank God.
-
Bad teams again, lame game choices again, quit playing againe w/o finishing missions again. Don't care again.
-
K/D does not matter for anything so there are far more important uses for dev work-hours.
-
I can see it being tough to aim well with Wasp. Even Hornet magnifies slight errors into wide misses.

Exactly. Two tedious peas from the same tedious pod.

We think you are a fool because you complain about the exact goal TO announced when they re-did railgun. It was their specific intent to make rail a 2 shot killer most of the times but an occasional 3 shot killer. What you call an oversight is exactly, EACTLY, what TO meant to do. So what are the odds they are going to listen to a forum fool who does not understand that TO meant to do with Rail and why? The answer is: zero. All you are is a forum troll at ths pojt. Unlike some trolls though you are 100% un-interesting. That is the opinion of us guys.
