    You really got to get on top of being able to select approriate equipment for your battles, hard to have a decent free flowing battle when some numb nuts comes and sits on a flag with a mammoth and a vulcan or some equally dreadful piece of equipment and fortescues your game completely. Aunty

    UTC+local time info for news panel topics

    You know what would be very nice? If the news panel, could display your own local time for timings rather than UTC. I'm not sure if this is possible, but perhaps you can pull the timezone information out of the client/browser, and have the time automatically adjust for each location. Some of us have trouble with being near half a day in front, its just to much of a head breaker sometimes figuring it out. Love Aunty

    Has there been any advances on any of the weapon/hull selection options for pro battles? Being able to ban particular hull/weapons from your game? They were flying around some time back can't see anything around now though. Aunty
  6. Aunty likes the idea with the clan paints, BUT... an original paint for every clan, I think would get out of hand. If there was a pool of say 5 or 6 clan paints available, then you'd be sure you could use one, the other team could use one, hopefully that the clan likes, and not clash with to many others.   7. I'd be going for something like a bad gamma effect... either everything looks really light or dark, for a short period, not so you can't see anything but that its a bit more difficult. Actually just had a further epiphany, you could just fade to white and back again.
  8. Things I'd like to see... An incendiary/phosphorus round for thunder, that sacrifices up front damage for a burn period like firebird does. Someone else can hammer out the details. Alternatively a star shell, which if you manage a hit, will degrade the targets ability to see for a time due to flare, again with decreased damage and for this one, no splash damage. Aunty

    It doesn't take much for a magnum to make battle pretty one sided though. If they smart enough to engage your team, it doesn't take much to tie yours up and have the sphagnum beat your brains out. If you can catch it out, sure.. you can kill it, but its still a massive amount of damage and can throw the best teams I've played with into complete disarray. Aunty

    This thing seems to manage an extraordinary amount of damage... I feel it needs to come down a bit... being obliterated by something that doesn't seem that close... gets a tad irritating. Direct hits are appalling..
  11. Hmm Aunty'd like to weigh in on this one too. For those that like XP/BP/DR or whatever the existing dodgy formats there are, we don't all like rail! Some of us hate them every bit as much as you like them, and some of us don't even bother to buy the equipment. I'd like to see a system, that defaults to everything on, and allows you to deselect the items you don't want to see appear. Be it, that hulls are broken into heavy/medium/light or just each individual, I know I'd be losing the heavy hulls in any game I start. You can have a good arm wrestle of a battle raging and some peanut kills it all with some monster truck. I'd like to see weapons in the second of these systems, each one on its own. Again I'm sure we all have our own personal hates, but for similar reasons to the the above paragraph, I find that freeze, and vulcan are the worst offenders for unbalancing teams on the battles I far prefer. So I'd be knocking those on the head, but allowing everything else. So in short +++ for the idea of being able to customise battles. Preferably to remove what you want to remove, rather than add what you want to add. Which I feel is more likely to keep battles a little wider open, than going the other way. Love Aunty PS: I also believe that this is far more important to players than devs and mods give it credit for.

    Not a new feature, a method of achieving the desired feature in another way. If someone later manages to add it as a feature so much the better in the meantime here is another solution to the problem.

    I have seen somewhere buried in these forums, requests for hotkeys/macros to send things like team commands quickly and easily in combat. Well they say if you can think of it, someones already done it, while this solution isn't strictly speaking a tanki end solution, it will achieve the result you're looking for. Google is your friend, have a look for AutoHotKeys Not to big, script your own macro, assign it to your own keys. In theory ought to work quite nicely for a lot of other games too, but there are limitations with things that use directX. Lots of Love Aunty

    This doesn't look so much like ideas for maps as ideas for making maps. However I can't find anywhere better to post so... Is there anyway to randomise some of the scenery. So that for arguments sake the trees change each load of the map, different size or shape..
  15. I like the idea, that you can arrange it any way you like, in lieu of that I'd settle for last used nearest the top/start. On a side note, I'd like to be able to jettison junk from my garage too. I have m0 rubbish I never use except in moment of boredom, and paints I never look sideways at. Dropping them out completely would at least declutter some of the rubbish Lots of Love Aunty

    I'm sure this will have come around before, but I haven't spotted it anywhere. Why not make a downside to supplies, obviously they ramp up certain attributes a lot, but what if dbl dmg, required a slightly slower load/fire rate, dbl armour requires extra heavy plates so you go a bit slower, dbl speed gives you speed at the expense of some handling. Not enough to really make it iffy to use supplies, but this seems like a reasonably logical extension of what improving those things we really like might do. I'm thinking that it would be a flat rate at which the downsides would be applied regardless of the hull or weapon in use. 5% or so maybe. Lots of Love Aunty Entity

  19. Only rankings drama I have, is not being able to see it, in the default screen size. Have to widen it out for the Ranking to show up at the end of the name. Otherwise, onwards and upwards. Love, Aunty

    Any possibility of having drug free games, able to include the use of mines? They're not quite the same as the other "drugs" and could add a little spice to the party.
