    Aunty's questions for the night erm, why do I only seem to get discounts on weapons that I have at m0? What makes anyone think I might buy them?? Any chance we'll see current overdrive available without having supplies or drops enabled? Can we leave m3 kits available indefinately, and can we have kits with less expensive paints in them. At the moment, if you take the paint out, you're nearly 100% better off buying everything you need seperately on sale. When are you going to rebalance magnum? While its a great piece of software and works like a dream, I don't think there's been one weapon, paint or hull that have so seriously unbalanced this game. Its ability to destroy teams, at opposite ends of battle without moving, and the amount of damage it deals are ludicrous, to the point you need to take maps out of rotation, while nicely thought out, the end result has become more than the sum of its parts. Of course there's many ways to achieve it, decreasing its damage, decrease the range in possible angles, and power of the launch, and or make the minimum launch power higher. On a different note, despite a lot of negative feedback here on supply changes, I believe the changes in this area have been fairly positive over all. Aunty.

    Let's Discuss Thunder!

    Aunty loves her thunder, I use it near exclusively, almost 5 x more than my backup turret of rico. In the good ol' days, emerald used to be the bane of my existance, every man and his dog seemed to have it. It seems everyone gets decent thunder protection somewhere along the line, so it must generally be dangerous. However I find there are many other turrets that can make a mess of you while you're sitting there waiting for reload, mostly plasma weapons in my experience. On anything up to another viking it will work well, dic is ok, and I don't bother fighting with titan/mammoths any more, I'm just over the slow speed game to take care of them. But if you can find a nice free flowing battle on small to medium maps, with a decent team, you're indispensable, you can lift a struggling team to a winning position through a bit of though and versatility in how and where you land those rounds. Into the ground at corners, off background walls, you can effectively shoot round corners, and over obstacles, and of course into a group of isi's trying to keep something else alive. Softening the enemy up for the others. Wouldn't swap it for anything, although sometimes I still swear at it, as much as by it. Aunty PS: If you really like your thunder, I don't think the alts are of much value, rather than enhancing, they seem to be trying to turn the weapon into something its not.

    Aunty's preferred medium battle recipe Hulls: wasp - viking dic/titan/mammoth to slow to kill Turrets: smoky, thunder, rail, hammer, firebird, rico, no more than one of each weapon. m3 twins to op, magnum, freeze, vulcan just slow everything down... Prots: anything goes. No supplies, no drugs, but with overdrive. Aunty...

    This is one of those drunken pizza night ideas.. sounds great... but kinda stupid too... How about on the sandbox map. 1 random person from each team gets stuck in the shrubbery, and having to snipe other teams from there until death. Personnel chosen randomly.     You run into a 4 man team with 2 isis in it, you need a truck load of firepower to get over that and try to stay alive at the same time. Those three can annihilate most other teams with relative impunity. You end up trying to kill the healer of the healer, and getting hit by everything in between

    On any untimed game, replace the countdown clock with a counter for game duration. I don't know if anyone else is in the same boat, but it heavy hard going out on the field, 11 flags looks like a million miles, and when its over, you know it took a long time, but have no real idea just how long. You know its been a great battle when you get to the finish line, your fingers are all cramped and cold, it was a damned close fight the whole way and it feels like hours have passed since you last moved.     Ideas for Game Modes!

    This could be a repeat, but it occurred to me, I keep asking for the ability to select what weapons/hulls are available for a particular battle. But it might be easier and achieve the same result if you could select a light/medium/heavy battle. Light would look like wasp/hornet I guess, with a range of weapons to suit, Medium would be anything up to Viking or maybe Dictator, but I'd nix magnum/vulcan/freeze. Heavy of course would be medium-Heavy hulls quite possibly with an anything goes in the weapon dept. Would be a lot simpler to implement, same kind of mechanics as any other restricted mode. And make the possibility of maintaining a free flowing battle. Not these monstrosities that just bog the whole thing down. Aunty.

  23. I guess I'm looking for it to pop up in notices and news posts, rather than in game... so you can get a better handle on just when it is in your local time. If you were going to pop a clock up there instead, then a UTC clock probably makes the most sense... given all the times are currently in UTC
  24. It will improve the flavour you tasteless .... :P To many times woeful combinations ruin a perfectly good free flowing battle. Who wants to spend all battle butting heads with someone fighting way out of their weight division? Of course its my perogative, but I leave more battles than I finish these days.
