    There doesn't seem to be any kits with hunter in at the top end ranks. Prometheus by the look of it, and that's it. Are we likely to see if come around again? I'm still attached to my hunter even though its been pretty smurfed... Hunter/Rico, Hunter/Smoky? Lots of Love Aunty

    I don't like the continue button, but thats probably because its new and different, what I object to is the timers missing. No idea how much time is left between restarting. Sometimes you're chatting after finish not looking for the continue button so the timer just reminds you to hit the button Lots of Love Aunty

    You must be choosing the wrong battles. I see a fair number that are drug free by design, and although I don't create any battles that cover your rank, I always turn off drugs. They're around, but drugging seems to be more popular. Lots of Love Aunty

    This is a very strange and weird sideways shift... its definately not an upgrade. While over all, it doesn't appear to make that huge a difference, I'm inclined to agree with the missions difficulty for map specific missions and battle types. If the battle button is random, then you're going to have to keep pushing until it sends you to the map you need, hoping it will create the battle you want. In the short term we're lucky everyone has pro passes, after that... it looks all over. Unless you also have the "battle button" take into account outstanding missions when allocating you to another battle. Lots of Love Aunty

    I don't know if this has come around before, but I haven't been able to see anything like it. How about making the protection module in the kit window a link to the details for that module? in these days of 20,000 unidentifiable modules, it'd be easier to check what they are/do without having to go hunting so much. For arguments sake in the Garage at the moment, I see, medic and healer, the only thing to make me buy one or the other really is the protection module. The paint is rubbish, I can see that already, I know what the weapons are, and you can see what hull.. but the protection modules? no idea.... Lots of Love Aunty Entity

    Ideas for Game Modes!

    I don't know that it needs to be ctf, tdm would lend itself to this just as well if not better, as you only need to define start/rally points. Also for 3 team tdm map I believe you could even get away with maps like sandbox. Lots of Love Aunty
  13. 1/ Has anything strange happened in the last few days, maybe close to a week now? I'm finding the client crashing with a wide range of apparent problems, unable to access ports, server errors, and just failure to load, and crashing. Given its been reliable for me up until now, I'm a little perplexed. I have deleted the cache, to no effect. Oddly enough sa_flashplayer is working nicely, I've had to resort to that instead. 2/ Oddly enough, I just rechecked my firewall, no reference to tankionline in there so I've added. It used to be there. For what its worth win7 x32 3/ And modifying the firewall didn't make any difference either. I guess the next thing is to try reinstalling it. Erm unable to uninstall, can only be uninstalled on 64bit??? 4/ Joining battles seems to be the biggest problem, can connect to a server and get to chat fairly reliably, but joining causes lots of time outs and blank screens at the moment Lots of Love Aunty

    That would be right, because I had both prior to rebalance, at which point the hunter was still faster than the viking. Not a lot, but was enough difference to put a different weapon on it and go... I prefer top speed over acceleration, sometimes you feel like you need tro get out and push though :) But post rebalance, the hunter is entirely superfluous... IMHO. Less armour and less speed, its like a brick compared to what it was. :/ Aunty

    Quick Change Kits

    Aunty likes this idea. Perhaps what you could have is the "kit package deal" as a possibility for free, and customised combos on a low cost charge per change up to say your 4. I don't know how many people use kits exactly the way they buy them. I've only managed to buy 1 kit ever :/ I'd be more likely to set a setup that reflects my "main" tank and my "backup" tank style. Would be happy to fork out some smallish amount of crystals to manage them on an ongoing basis, rather than a larger amount of crystals and do whatever you want. Lots of Love Aunty

    Hmm I used to love my hunter, had m2 long before I got any viking, but I needed something beyond m2, and Viking was available. Used to feel slow compare to the Hunter, but since the rebalance there's no longer any point to using Hunter at all. Its become slower, weaker.... Having said all that, the Viking now flies, and does donuts. I'll happily stand by Viking, definately with thunder, but I believe it will work equally well with any number of turrets. Only major drawback for me is small fast people that can either outrun you significantly, or slow you down like freeze. Lots of Love Aunty
  18. I've never bought a pro pass, having seen whats there after the 3hrs from missions, I felt it there was nothing there that made any difference. Instead of settings for xp/bp/dr (I assume that ones coming, or here) Why not be able to set you battle up with a limited set of weapons. Using radio buttons, default to all on, and have the creator deselect the weapons they don't want to see. Of course you could do the same for hulls. Personally I hate Vulcans, and in a normal game I'll leave if they arrive, so it would give me a reason for considering burning my 5k crystals on a pro pass, if I could set up a game style, that I like to play.     New balance changes and other features

    Ohhh no, what have you done to my Hunter? This used to be my primary hull, you started with it, it had a nice balance, but now, I'm stuck with the viking instead. More armour, faster.... and now the Viking drifts like a hornet..... I used to enjoy the power drifting in the Hunter, and the stability in the Viking, but both these things are gone. Hunter at least needs some speed back, steal it from Viking and pop it back into Hunter, at present there appears to be 0 reason for trying to do anything with Hunter now. Lots of love Aunty. PS: and totally unrelated, a way to inform users of replies would be nice, I find it difficult to relocate previous messages.

  22. Well here we go... Someone is secretly working on the client. I've noticed some changes happening, which is nice, you've even fixed some things I hadn't considered to be problems but are nice additions. 1) Client is now remembering your language. Ahhh so nice... 2) We start in a window at what looks like the native resolution for the contents, much nicer than before, video cards not working as hard now. 3) log out takes you back to the logon screen. I'm liking this, even though I didn't think it was a particular problem. 4) I don't know how this bit works, but the loading times seem to have reduced, and the progress bar seems to flash like a madman, however I find for whatever reason this part doesn't seem as stable as before. I get numerous disconnection messages and server error messages, followed by client shutdown. When it works, it is definately faster than before, but success is about 50/50. Lots of Love Aunty
