Horizontal tracking boosts M4 Railgun's rotation to 121-122~ deg per second (I did the math, it's in a previous post I made on page 7 of this topic) The 30% loss of vertical aim is a small price to pay for such a massive rotation boost. The decrease of upwards vertical aim is 2 degrees which brings Railgun's upward aim to 5 degrees, and the vertical downwards aim is decreased to 7 degrees. As I said, a small price to pay, as experienced railgun users should know how to rock their hull, so these penalties are non existent, as for example Hornet can rock up and down anywhere between 10-15 degrees, making railgun more versatile than Vulcan in some respects (Granting you have the space to abuse this 10 degree rocking angle)

Wee time to crank out another turret design. Name: Plasma Rifle Stats (M0) Min Dmg: 300 Max Dmg: 500 Rotation speed: 85 deg/s Impact force: 150~ kg/cm2 Reload: 4 seconds Auto angle up: 8 Auto angle down: 8 Projectile Speed: 200 m/sec Splash dmg radius: 2.5 m Range: 200 m Min dmg at range: 10% Description/Information This turret fires a small sphere of super heated plasma at the target. This projectile will be similar in shape and appearance to a round from M0 Twins. The projectile travels at a relatively slow speed, although still incredibly fast for a plasma based weapon. Each shot from this turret possesses a small amount of splash damage. This turret will be similar in function to Hammer. It will contain a 5 shot magazine, with each shot requiring a 1.5 second reload. The total turret reload is 10 seconds, including shells in the magazine being reloaded. This turret has a low knockback and a low recoil, making it suitable for short-mid range engagements but still allowing it to excel at mid-long range. This turret can occasionally stun enemy tanks do to the nature of its projectile. This stun effect is rare and never lasts longer than 3 seconds. Stunning an enemy tank stops the tank from moving, but still allows it to turn its turret and fire at the aggressor. This turret will work beautifully with any hull as the recoil is low, allowing light hulls to zip around using it with relative ease. If you guys can think of any suggestions, feedback, comments, please tell me and I'll see to it. Constructive and helpful feedback is preferred, but I can't control what you write, but still. Anyways, if you like it tell me, and I'll think of more turrets. Thanks!

No unfortunately, I have no higher level account, and I have no experience using them. I did the math myself, calculated the stats, and those are the results if you were to use those particular alterations on an M4 Railgun.

In other words: Tank Tazer. No one would use freeze anymore lmao. Instantly stops the vehicle in its tracks and does severe damage? OP

Time for news flash to all you happy campers! exp, they're also destroying Tanki. Say for example 2 players enter a generic Sandbox CTF match. This isn't a PRO Battle, so 6 more players join. In total, both the above players earn 175 exp (Or their battle score) from capturing 5 flags and making 10 kills. However, one of the 2 Did you know Tanki Online is scamming you? Of course you didn't, because everyone accepts their practices. However, the battle rewards system is RIGGED in favor of premium account users. That's right, premium account users are receiving not only double crystals and 50% extra players has a premium account, which is conveniently hidden until the end of the match. The premium account player, instead of having 175 battle score like the normal account player, has 263 score because his premium account is adding the extra exp into the equation. This is where it becomes ugly. Battle fund crystals are awarded to players based on their score. So, if a premium account player receives 263 exp in a match with 500 crystals as the fund, that premium player will receive anywhere between 150-200 crystals, which is then doubled to anywhere between 300-400 crystals. In other words, Tanki Online is robbing players without premium and giving the people with premium the loot. This is a bullsh*t system and it needs to be fixed or else.

The range boost would be wasted, but if you think it would be useful so be it. Also, if you're only using Rail for XP/BP, then buy the Smoky alterations, it would serve you better.
-
^ You noticed too? It also says your account is un-viewable and that I have no permission to view it. What the hell.
-
Rail ofc. Smoky alt decreases DpS.

Ok.... Let's hash it out like this... Basically, you're saying that this isn't technically a "turret" but it's not just a tank with no way to attack or defend. The weapon in question is similar in function to a nuclear bomb, however, much smaller in scale. The turret is mounted on a fast tank, and used to clear large areas of enemies without worry of harming your allies... Similar to a Kamikaze, or "Divine Wind" pilot from the Japanese airforce in WW2. That or you're referring to the old "Test Box" series Tanki had on the V-Log, the one nicknamed Kamikaze, where a vehicle uses the box, drives toward the target vehicles, and detonates, clearing the way for allies to capture flags/points.

Please refrain from using walls of text, because it makes everyone's life terrible. I'm not even going to read this post it's so long.

Ok, here are the stats after using the "Faster Horizontal Tracking" and "High Caliber Ammo" alterations on an M4 Railgun. Min Dmg: 1120 Max Dmg: 2240 Reload: 6 sec Rotation 121.5 deg/s Tanki says that these alterations shouldn't change gameplay, but holy sh*t. Using Double Damage, an M4 Railgun wielding these alterations with a skilled player at the trigger has just become the new God of Tanki Online. You can't out run him, you can beat his reload but good luck beating him in a damage trade. Tanki really needs to rethink these things and check the stats of turret before they release game changing alterations like this... I'm shaking in fear of what the M3 Alterations will be. Probably more damage increases at turret rotation cost or worse.
-
I just browsed thru all the alterations for railgun. What you would want to do is buy the M1 alteration, which increases turret rotation by 30% at the cost of your vertical auto aim, then buy the M2 alteration "High Caliber Shells" which increases your damage by 40% all round at the cost of your reload decreasing 50%. Add these values up, equip them on an M4 Railgun and you basically have Railgun prior to the balance changes and possibly even further back...
-
M2+M1 alt=150k, M3+/M4 =Approx 250k. You're better off buying the 2 alts then MUing it to M4.

Hey hey hey. I made a dummy account yesterday to test Striker M0, and it's OP in most respects. If you manage to lock on to a target, the 4 rockets are instantly released, and if you have double damage, the M0 will obliterate M1 Titan (Most armored M1 in the game currently). I expect a nerf in the near future. A really big nerf. Oh yeah, it also reloads faster than railgun and at 4 times the damage of thunder, I expect some outcry.
-
o_O Obj. 704 is one of those TDs that make me question whether or not it was a TD in real life or an artillery. Like you said, the only good thing about the gun is the alpha, everything else sucks. Its reload is longer than the bass cannon (BL-10 gun on ISU)
-
Yep and the alterations stack so Railgun just became better than it ever has been...
-
Except for the SU-85, because it's DpM is incredible for a tier V, and it's fairly accurate with good damage. I'm talking about the Tier VII 85mm gun it mounts though. lel.

Basically you want an early warning system so that you can kill any close range turrets that sneak up on you. How about no. It gives an unfair advantage to the shafter in question and makes it nearly impossible for anyone to sneak up on them. A similar example would be the reason Cross team chat in WoT was removed. To prevent allies from giving away locations to the enemy team. Same thing here.

category Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!

No, what he's saying is that Tanki introduces M0, M1, M2 XTs, in addition to the original M3 XTs. Basically, XT Viking would be unlockable at a low rank, but it doesn't look as pretty and is only for premium users, etc, and follow that pattern with all XTs. -

Yeah, that's a little bit easier to understand... Basically, you're asking for XTs for all modifications of current XTs. Right? -
Six parameters, yep, Reload, Damage, Rotation Speed, Penetration Power, and Impact Force. I focused the upgrades I made in the Damage and Reload Parameters, with a few in Penetration and 1 or 2 in Impact Force. When the update for MicroUpgrades that merged all the parameters together was released, one of the bonuses was the sudden merge and instant upgrade to an average upgrade level equivalent to the previous upgrades.
-
Are you by any chance related to Mettaton? :D
-
Not to do it, I know, but this account is almost 4 years old, when you could upgrade separate parameters on your equipment. I literally almost had 50 Damage and 50 Reload upgrades on the Railgun before the update when all the Parameters got merged. This thing was powerful as all hell, the reload would probably be around 5 seconds and the damage would be anywhere between 450 min to 650 max or something close after all the updates from the account's creation.
-
He got my password. The account technically is now worthless, it has one garbage M1 (Mammoth) and trashy M0s, except for the Railgun, which like I said was 34 MUs. I had been working on the railgun's damage and reload parameters prior to the merged parameter upgrades via MUs. I could oneshot an M1 Hornet from today's TO with a double damage using that Railgun.
-
I can tell you the exact upgrade level of the account's M0 Railgun post-micro upgrade update. It's 34 MUs. If that isn't proof enough, then you're right, and it's impossible.
